Noise level got a little too high in the curtained area because of a large group but it was manageable. The beef cheeks entree in parsnip puree with pickled cauliflower and mushrooms was delicious; so was the chocolate dessert! The view of the Bay Bridge light display is mesmerizing. My eyes were only drawn away by the amazing food and desserts! (And the conversation, of course). I am a long- time fan of Emily Luchetti's dessert cookbooks. I was thrilled to actually taste some of them in situ! The oysters, too, were wonderful. We even had two from my home town in Rhode Island. What a terrific surprise. Food both interesting and excellent, without being 'over-done'. Likewise, the wines. I had the quail with wild rice whih was plate licking good combined with the fabulous pomogranate molases reduction. Definetly try the meatballs which are light and fluffy and have a yummy sauce accompnying them.
My husband had the dangeneous crab pasta and it was just ok, not really enough crab or any interesting flavours.
