According to our waitress last Friday, Zad was shutting down 7/27/2013. I don't know if that happened or not, but I figured I would post it here just in case.

I kind of got abandoned by the server when I arrived separately from my dining partner - they looked pretty swamped and it took a while to get back to me I guess. The food was great though, and BYOBs are lots of fun.

This BYO was a great find. Food was simple but very well prepared, and the fact that it's BYO made it a great pre-theatre choice for this area.

  • Chicken Kabobs that Rock!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 10/20/2012
I dined at Zad for the first time. There Chicken Kabobs were awesome! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The price was amazingly cheap and it is BYOB friendly. We got out under $20 for two people dining on a Saturday night around 7:30PM. The owner stopped by our table and spoke with us. They have many gluten free options for those on restrictive diets. Don't forget to bring a bottle! Installation of lighting dimmers would have improved the ambiance. They have a nice outdoor sidewalk patio dining area with lots of foot traffic for great people watching.
