Diner Reviews
  • "My first impression upon entering for my first visit was not too crowded (at 6:45 p.m.) with good space between tables and a fairly large shop with a long sushi counter. The food was quite good and only slightly overpriced. The service was OK. My dining companion was celebrating his birthday and I think we let a little hint drop out. As a result, the waitress (owners wife?) brought us a very nice desert which made the whole trip worthwhile. I just might come again. As a footnote, it is almost impossible to find, in this area, a Japanese restaurant with "real" Japanese owners and staff. I find this slightly disappointing because I spent 28 years of my life living and working in Kyoto, Japan and welcome chances to keep up my Japanese"

  • "1st time here, will definitely not be the last. Nice to have a great choice locally for great sushi. Well decorated restaurant, nice ambiance, and the service was excellent. Wonderful calamari"

  • "a local sushi bar with a very cool vibe and great food including a full menu of non sushi delights … don't miss the duck salad or amazing tofu for those folks like me. The sushi eaters proclaimed this was the BEST ever!"

  • "We've been here 3 or 4 times now and always have a great experience. The food is of extremely good quality and made to order so always fresh and flavorful. I've yet to try a non-sushi entrée but the descriptions sound incredible, maybe next time! Fantastic!"

  • "Made a reservation for Valentine's Day only to find it was a fixed menu. They mentioned nothing about this on their website of when making the reservation. There were 3 meal options, not mix and match but either choose meal A, B or C. Ended up at Jimmy Hula's and made my stomach deal with that (admittedly my own fault). Felt bad for the staff as I'm sure we weren't the only ones to leave."

  • "Waited for an hour with a reservation. They ran out of some of their limited menu. Slow service. They were rushing to get us out by midnight. The DJ wouldn't shut up."

  • "Group of 8. We waited 25 minutes to be greeted at our table and our drink orders taken. I had to ask for someone to come and take drink orders. 4 of our party recieved food, the next 2 recieved food 15 minutes later and 30 minutes later when everyone was done eating the last two people recieved their food only after asking mutiple times. When asking for drinks or refills it took up to 20 minutes. The food was good, th presentation of the food was very nice but the service was so bad I would never return."

  • "This is my favorite Orlando restaurant. The food and service are both excellent and the owner is a hottie and a half. The cold appetizers are outstanding."

  • "My family loves eating at Yuki Hana. The sushi is always fresh & delicious! The chefs are creative and do an amazing job with presentation. The menu is full of culinary delights and you can never go wrong with your choices. The owner, Ping is delightful and always makes you feel welcomed. This is our only choice for sushi! Thanks for another great meal!!!!"

  • "We have been to Yuki Hana several times and have never had a bad meal there. Their sushi is very good and very fresh with a variety of choices. Their Japanese entrees are delicious, too. We love the noodle dishes and the bento boxes. The bentos are an especially good deal because we always have leftovers for the next day's lunch. Our three year old son loves the food at Yuki Hana as well. He loves gyoza, shumai, udon noodles, teriyaki chicken and vegetable rolls. The atmosphere is leaning towards trendy with techno music playing the background, but we go early when they are less busy and they bend over backwards to make sure our son is taken care of."

  • "It took us a year but we finally made it to Yuki Hana. It was my wife's birthday and also Yuki Hanas 1 year anniversary. They had music and a DJ and it was a real celebratory atmosphere which matched our mood. We ordered the calamari which even my 7 yr old son liked as well as a variety of sushi rolls which were outstanding. The kids got chicken hibachi and enjoyed it. Was a great family night out and I'd suggest it if you enjoy high quality sushi. The service was a bit slow and our meals came out in waves which was disappointing but didn't impact our mood. Maybe it was slow due to Saturday night or perhaps that's the norm- I'll have to see next time. We will definitely go back."

  • "Fish is fresh, fresh, fresh! Many times there is special fish available that isn't listed on the menu. If you're comfortable with allowing Eddie to utilize his creativity, just tell him your likes and dislikes, and allow him to do what he does best. I've never been disappointed, as he's a true artist. There are also numerous other tasty dishes on the menu for those who aren't sushi fans. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. They offer a nice selection of sakes, and several interesting wines. Sushi lovers will definitely be pleased with the taste and presentation, while knowing their non-sushi-loving friends can find a variety of options to suit their taste, as well."

  • "I'm a bit of a sushi addict. I have always had my favorites, starting with Amura, then Sushi Pop, and now Yuki Hana. I originally came because I had a Groupon, and I have been hooked ever since. The restaurant itself is nice inside, clean, and as long as you're in one of their booths, quite cozy. The service has always been good, and most recently Barbara was our server and she was excellent. Now for the main event: the sushi!! I've never been disappointed by a roll here. Presentation is quite the event, and the rolls are always to die for. The one served with fire in middle of the plate is my favorite. The sweetheart roll is a must for a special date. You can't go wrong with heart-shaped sushi. Be adventurous. You can't go wrong here."

  • "We celebrated our twins 15th birthday here at their request. We had a wonderful meal and a great time. Everything was delicious. My 86 year old mom tried sushi for the first time and loved it! There were other options on the menu for my 92 year old dad, and he really enjoyed the spicy chicken & fried rice! From the appetizers to the sushi and dessert, everything was superb! The service is always great too! Can't wait to go back!"

  • "We were seated promptly and given a wine list. They did not have the wine we ordered and were offered a substitution for the same price. That wine was not on the list, so we didn't know if it was a good deal, or not. It was quite good, but their wines by the bottle were rather pricey. We ordered a California roll and it was good. We then ordered the Hibachi steak and shrimp with mixed vegetables. The meats were done very nicely, but the vegetables were lacking. There was two pieces of carrots and a few broccoli pieces. The rest were huge chunks of peppers, which are vegetables, but not what we were expecting. It was a nice place and I would go back, but it wasn't amazing for the price."

  • "This is my favorite sushi I've tried in the Orlando area. I love their use of interesting ingredients in their special rolls - nuts give great texture to rolls, I had no idea! Everything I've tried has been impeccably fresh and delicious."

  • "The prices seem good for traditional sushi and sashimi. Then when you're served you understand why. Tiny little pieces. Quality is pretty good, but I had to order more food. Service is pleasant and attentive. One more thing: they serve that awful "krab," so be careful when ordering any rolls that allegedly include crab. It's not the real thing."

  • "We had not been to Yuki Hana and were hesitant to go on a busy night like New Years but we did and were so happy we made the choice. The food was delicious and so fresh and although it was very busy the service was good. It was a delightful meal and we will definitely return I had the scallops and they were huge- every bite was perfect. My husband had the steak and shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. The side dishes were the same quality. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert- next time!"

  • "Very nice. Lovely service. At the sushi bar, I asked questions about the fish. They brought me a complementary appetizer, a nice touch. Sadly, said appetizer was based on that flaked and formed abomination known as Krab, the detritus of white fish molded with red dye around the edges to simulate the real thing. Felt obliged to eat some. I know, I had a choice, but they were so kind I felt guilty. Anyway, it's an ok sushi restaurant, just ok."

  • "Stopped in for a quick bite with my family. The food was fresh and delicious. Try the great monster appetizer, it is amazing. My daughters loved it so much, that they already decided that this is the place for their birthday dinner in January!"

  • "This place is great and it's not just sushi like some would believe. There are plenty of other Asian dishes and even lobster and filet. Don't think this is like your neighborhood Publix sushi. It is upscale and high quality. If you sit at the bar the chef may just give you a free sample..."

  • "We ordered four rolls and three of them were the best sushi we've ever tasted. The fourth was still good, but I think because it was the last roll to arrive we were too full to thoroughly enjoy it. We will revisit Yuki Hana often!!!!"
