The moment I walked in the hostess asked me if I was Eleanor with a reservation for 5:30 (which I was). We were led back to the table immediately and the minute we sat down the waitress passed out menus and began taking our drink orders. She was back momentarily with our drinks and ready to take our food orders. She explained all of the specials well and made us aware of the sharing charge when two of us were looking at sharing. Our food was cooked almost right after we had given our orders and it was all delicious. His name was Terrance(little T) and our waitress was great. Was a very great evening.

Service was excellent and the chef very funny and interactive, ezpecially with the kids. We did have one issue (not worth detailing), but the manager did take care of it immediately and showed genuine concern. Reservations on-line was great because as soon as We got there we were seated in less than 5 minutes. Im used to waiting around at Japanese rest. and I hate that!! Food was good, service excellent (tea/water) filled all the time, no waiting or trying to find a waiter. Infact, If i had to pick something I was un-happy about it would be the lack of "display" from our cook. Although the food was cooked to perfection. Our cook NEVER put on a show or did anything with the juggeling wooden things, nothing!. I dont come for the SHOW, I come for the food, but some people do come for the whole "experience" and they would have been at the wrong table for that. He didn't hesitate nor skipped a beat when asked for something's to make his guests comfortable .3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWith our OpenTable reservationWith our OpenTable reservation for a Friday evening, we arrived three minutes before our reservation to find many other people sitting around and waiting. We were pleasantly surprised to be immediately seated ahead of everyone else. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, including a last-minute request for the 'birthday package' for one of our family members. Chef Bob was very entertaining and well engaged with his audience. The food was good as always, but could use a bit more shrimp to go with the steak. Although this is probably true of any restaurant.
