It's nice and quiet during brunch so it's good for a business meeting but lively at night (often with live music) so it's a great date night as well. The food is authentic Greek but presented in a modern way so it doesn't look overtly ethnic. I go here often and recommend the aged barrel gets appetizer. The hosts were friendly, and our young waiter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Kalamari appetizer (tender, not bar food). The salmon on a bed of spinach was very good; the veal stuffed with crab and shrimp. truly outstanding. A mixup about which rice I wanted with the veal (with vegetables mixed in, rather than plain) was promptly and cheerfully corrected, at no charge. Beet salad on the side was also delicious. Two terrific dinners with 3 glasses of Greek wine between the two of us, and no desserts, came to under $90. My wife and I, visiting this charming and lively town for a music festival, finally got to Yianni's, having heard positive comments from friends. It turned out to be the best Greek food we have had since we lived in Chicago (thirty years ago)! I opted for the roasted lamb shank with orzo; my wife had a veal special. Our waiter, Brian, was a gem -- he knew the restaurant's menu well, and was there when needed (and absent when not). We were so pleased that we immediately made a reservation for the next night -- again with Brian -- and enjoyed an equally superb meal (tilapia with spinach and feta for me, scallops for my wife). We were celebrating a birthday so ordered everything from multiple appetizers to dessert. Everything was delicious and the uniqueness of menu items makes it interesting. The Baklava was outstanding! My husband who is from Armenian decent (where this is a common dessert) said that this is the best he has had since his elder "aunties" would make it for the family. Justin was our waiter and he was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere and decor transports you to a Greek island as does the food. I think by now I have had at least everything on the menu many times over. The crab cakes and grilled octopus are my favorites, and the deserts are out of this world!
