  • "Ther's a joy in getting a smorgasbord of different kinds of food and Yebo delivers. We sampled over 5 plates not including dessert, and each one was great. I highly recommend."

  • "Who would have thought there would be such a great resturant at the mall!! Loved the food and the cocktails! The curry is amazing. We went before a movie and it was all of ours first dining at Yebo and we all loved it! Can't wait to go back! Try the popcorn with drinks and while you decide what else to eat"

  • "Big part of dinner is being able to talk to those you are with! Otherwise good."

  • "Great place, food was excellent! Noise level very high but we didn't mind. Also great cocktails."

  • "Yebo was an enjoyable experience at a reasonable Buckhead price. The food was tasty and moderately different with a South African flare. I loved the ostrich sliders and some of the other great different apps. The decor is simple and chic with a nice Buckhead social scene. Check it out!"

  • "Once again, I enjoyed dinner at Yebo. Menu is interesting, South African wines are great. Menu changed and I could not find my favorite cocktail, but the wine was great so we were satisfied. Service was excellent. Look forward to my next visit."

  • "I dined at Yebo on Valentine's Day. I thought the food was tasty but it was very loud for the dinner crowd, it was hard to hear our server and hold a conversation without raising our voices."

  • "The food is absolutely delicious and you can tell it's are with a touch of love. The wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The ambience is great. My daughter and I had dinner there before a fox performance and she loved it. Very kid friendly."

  • "My Husband and I decide to go out for Valentine's Day earlier that day, and found Yebo had 6:45pm reservations open. What a find! It was exactly what we wanted for the evening. Even though the food was tapas it was perfect. Yebo will see us again soon."

  • "I had a group of associates convening for a business meeting. I chose this restaurant for the classic-cultural ambiance and the exotic menu, like Ostrich Sliders! One of the individuals could not show up due to weather, but offered to be involved with the meeting via conference call. The server and hosts happily helped us move our belongings in to the silent side room, away from the sultry music (noise level was appropriate for conversation, but difficult to hear a conference call on speaker-phone.) The side room, adorned with candles and soft, comfy high-chairs, worked phenomenally. Even though we were secluded, I never felt like our server forgot about us. He was very attentive! The evening worked out perfectly thanks to Yebo!"

  • "We keep going back to this lively restaurant with such an interesting menu and nice live music, The kale salad, beet salad, and mussels are consistently good, and the bunny chow bowls are complete meals in themselves. Always a pleasant experience."

  • "Very enjoyable South African restaurant. Very good food, and excellent energy. A bit too loud with the live music."

  • "A Buckhead scene on the weekends. The food is outstanding and the service is great. There is music, a DJ. Very loud, but great to get away and have a fun night!!"

  • "Great evening; met friends, had drinks and did some catching up! Food was perfect; atmosphere just right; service was good but at times too many table visits."

  • "After seeing a film in the mall we looked for a nearby restaurant but had not heard of Yebo. I eat out a lot and usually forget what I ate the day after, but I was re-living my experience at Yebo for many days afterwards and still think of the ostrich sliders, grilled salmon, mac and cheese, and especially the malva pudding. The wine list was small but varied for every taste: we had an amazing bottle of cab at a very reasonable price. Service was great, and the space was energetic without being too noisy to have a conversation--the perfect restaurant! The next time I'm in Atlanta I will definitely go back."

  • "I've been to Yebo twice, both time delicious. Try some of the unique items, especially the Kale Salad & the Bobotie"

  • "My husband and I both had terrific meals at Yebo. He had the fried chicken in a peri peri sauce and I had the Bobotie Bunny Chow. The menu is a nice change from standard American fare. Yebo is good anytime, but is especially convenient if going to a movie at Phipps. Recommend."

  • "Overall, this place has a great atmosphere. It is young and modern. The food is great. After visiting the first day for lunch with a friend, I went back 2 days later for late night drinks and tappas with another friend. Also, I forgot my bartender's name but he was great. I am a wiskey drinker and wanted to try something new. He asked a few questions to determine my taste. Then he asked if I wanted to try a kentucky mule. Never heard of it but gave it a try. FANTASTIC! I wish I could remember his name to give him the proper shout out! Give Yebo a try!"

  • "What a find - I was really pleasantly surprised when I met a few friends out at Yebo the other evening for dinner before a show. The food was creative and totally delicious. I had the most amazing popcorn appetizer - believe it or not - piping hot. Be adventurous and order up some fabulous food at this cool new restaurant."

  • "The chicken curry bunny bowl and shrimp with fried grits were both fabulous! I don't even like grits but in this dish they were perfect."

  • "This restaurant has some very good South African wine. We had the 2007 Meerlust Rubicon, which despite having a little age is still a big, full-bodied wine. The food is delicious, especially Chicken Curry and Bobotie bowls. The live music (we were there on Sunday evening) made you forget that you were next to the parking lot. Great, fun place for good South African food and wine!"

  • "Made a reservation on open table which made it pretty simple. Was seated right when I got there. The place has a nice decor and the food is amazing. I had ostrich sliders, Mac and cheese, lamb lollipops, and my gf had the seafood bread bowl. We really enjoyed our food and the wines are pretty good as well."

  • "First of all, the music was so loud it was difficult whether you were seated inside or out to have a easy conversation without shouting. The food offerings just weren't all that special - we had been to some awesome restaurants around Atlanta so in comparison, Yebo was a bit disappointing. The chicken curry was yummy and different but most of the other offerings had a "yeah, so what feeling." And I felt the waiter was rushing us although she was helpful with wine choice."
    Dined on 10/13/2013
  • "Sure, there are ostrich sliders and crab tacos, but none of the food has the overwhelming South African vibe that you may be seeking. Hummus with vegetables, beet salad, beer... and the music was all modern stuff you'd hear on the radio. A good experience and good food, but if you're looking for authentic, this probably isn't it."

  • "Everyone in the group (3) enjoyed. The Bread Bowl was excellent. The service was wonderful, one of our group had a special request , the waitress was eager to and found a solution to her menu request. Will definitely return and recommend to others!"
