a lovely time.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNew Orleans LandmarkEverything was fabulous, service, ambience and the food excellent!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFine dining flavor for less.My husband and I have passed by this restaurant many times on our way to and from home. We finally decided to try it and are so glad! The food was absolutely delicious and the menu offered a great selection of entrees. We had the crispy boudin cake with a poached egg for an appetizer and...BOOM...it was amazing. I had the lemon thyme chicken for dinner and my husband had the pork medallions. Both were excellent. The bonterra organic chardonnay was great as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dining experience with great food. I might not go here for a quiet romantic dinner since it was noisy though.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat New Orleans AtmosphereYe Olde College Inn is a New Orleans institution and continues to live up to its reputation of catering to locals with excellent food and superb service. That's why you'll always find a local crowd surrounding the bar in no rush to leave. The food is better than its ever been.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Best!!!!!I can't find a superlative that even begins to describe how much I love EVERYTHING about Ye Olde College Inn. It's my husband1's and my fave restaurant in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area!!!! Ate their for our 35th wedding anniversary in January. Ate there for my 65th birthday this week. The staff is attentive without hanging over you. the food is FABULOUS!!! It's just a superb place to dine!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's worth one try.It is a once in awhile place to dine. Food was fine, but the place too noisy. Not a relaxing atmosphere.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AManother great experienceOnce again, I brought guests from out of town to Ye Olde College Inn, and we all had a blast! The food was great, and our server was wonderful. Our party of nine was seated in the small upstairs area, which we had all to ourselves. Everyone loved the food, and there were lots of foods unique to New Orleans on the menu. I appreciated the "gluten free" labels on the menu. After our meal, we went next door to Rock 'n Bowl for awesome live music and bowling. It was a great night!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding oyster appetizerOutstanding oyster appetizer with blue cheese. Fish specials and salads great. yes even the strange sounding Fried bread pudding poor boy is very good. They understand if you start with high quality food they will come. Well worth the visit for those who have not been here in years. This is not you father's Olde College Inn.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGet there early! This place gets packed up tight on weekends, so make an early reservation. Our only problem was that the service was almost too quick. The food was great and the menu interesting.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great nightWe were celebrating our 37 anniversary and started at ye old college inn. Great improvement from when I was a child. Was worth crossing the causeway for. Had a seafood dish that was delicious. Then had a great time at rockin' bowl which has the same owner.
Great fun in New Orleans!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful foodThis restaurant is not in the popular French Quarter or Garden District, but well worth the short cab ride. They offer very creative plates of traditional New Orleans fare (crawfish, oysters etc), but also offer something for everybody (chicken, beef options etc). Everyone in our party of six loved their meal and the staff was very attentive. And I highly recommend the fried bread pudding for dessert. Would definitely go back.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMTwo of us had the Lamb ShanksTwo of us had the Lamb Shanks which were outstanding. Brought my leftovers home and had another meal.
Making the reservation thru Open Table was wonderful, no waiting for restaurant to open, or being put on hold, etc.

Definitely a great N'Awlins food experience!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGo to placeThis is my go to neighborhood place to eat. They are friendly and everything is fresh and delicious. They serve until 11 pm. They take AMX. There is always something on the menu to please whatever issues your dining companion may have. Best of all, when I want a cheeseburger they can do that too. I am always pleased with my experience. Jimmy is my favorite but they are all nice. The chef always speaks to me on the way out.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing, authentic LouisianaAmazing, authentic Louisiana cuisine. Good food done right!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOur second visit.
