I went to dinner here with my mom before attending a concert at the Barclay's center. we walked from the LIRR terminal to the restaurant which is across the street from Barclays. the service was a little slow the evening we went we think because of the Holiday Party on the lower level. another couple we met on the train into Brooklyn walked in without reservations and their wait was 25 minutes. I made reservations and we were seated immediately. the food was very good and I would recommend going if there isnt a show or game at the Barclays center. I would dine here again!

When we got there we were seated right away. Took 20 minutes for a server to come over. Took drink order. 10 minutes later came with one drink and another 15 minutes later came with the other which was wrong. It took another 10 minutes to tell us they didn't have flavored vodka. We ate our appetizers for which no extra plates were brought for 5 minutes (still no drink) and left without ordering an entree

Delicious Whole Snapper with Malanga, just like Abuela used to make it! The ambience is nothing to write about but this restaurant is in a booming area of Brooklyn that has little decent fare. That makes this place a bit of a standout. In short time there will be many wonderful spots but the authenticity of the cooking will keep this place on people's list.
