Denver hasn't had a place to come close to those until Yanni's.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat TimeMy first time at Yanni's and we were greeted right away and seated outside on the patio since it was a beautiful night weatherwise. We started the meal with a shot of ouzo. OPA! Our server was friendly, prompt and attentive. When he found out it was my friends birthday - he brought a free dessert with a candle. We enjoyed wine, Ouzo, appetizers, main course and dessert. All were excellent. Great place to come for a romantic dinner, or bring the kids or hang out with the local crowd. Opa!Hospitality by Yanni and the exotic Greek menu are the pitch points for Yanni's restaurant... on busy nights it's hopping and the outdoor area on a warm night is perfect... easy to get to at the Landmark shopping center, there are diversions nearby, movies, comdey club, bars... I had a huge serving which was fantastic and my husband got the lamp chops which he loved. My boys got the leg of lamb which wasn't as good as the lamb chops, but my husband still liked it. My boys ordered the lemon tort for dessert and loved that too. I thought it was ok. Our service was absolutely wonderful, talked with my boys, wished me a happy mother's day. If you're near I-25 and Belleview / Orchard is definitely worth checking out.
