Yankee Pier - LarkspurLunch with the GirlsEverything was superb. "moderate" noise level only because the patio, where we chose to eat among three options, is near Magnolia Ave in Larkspur, a bustling street during the day. note, however, that traffic is slow in this quaint town, and foot traffic consists of easygoing folks of all ages. We had no trouble conversing w/ease. The patio is arbored above and in front with ancient wisteria, a lovely sound buffer. Both kid-friendly and romantic are chosen because, besides 2 moms w/buggies on the patio w/us, at night (i've also had supper at yankee pier), lights are low and tables small. i called in advance to be sure I could use an ancient gift certificate. After our meal, the whole team had a good laugh at just how old: 10 years!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMYankee Pier was amazingFrom beginning to end of our dining experience the staff at Yankee Pier made us feel welcomed and were genuinely happy that we were there. The food was mouth watering delicious and Chef Alex even visited our table. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Make a special trip to Larkspur to go there...it is worth it!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was just a lovely experience. It was just a lovely experience. The food was excellent and of the highest quality.
Our waiter Luke, couldnot have been more gracious, friendly, or nicer. Very attentive and never rushed us.
A delightful experience which made a warm Mother's Day very special out on the back patio.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBeing there with a 8 monthBeing there with a 8 month old baby. The personal was outstanding, the food was excellent and the place very nice and convenient!
We will come back!!!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMfresh deliciously. preparedfresh deliciously. prepared food. had a great waiter too3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMeal was very good: fish preparedMeal was very good: fish prepared to perfection, as were side dishes. After several visits here over the years, we have come to the conclusion that the menu is difficult for us in some way that is difficult to specify...I don't know exactly what this is about, might just be us (though this is not a frequent experience for us). But that is our repeated experience: we find it hard to find dishes that really "fit" what we want. So, despite our appreciation of the quality of the food and the pleasantness of the atmosphere, we don't return here very often. This is disappointing, because we love to eat fish, and Yankee Pier would appear to be a great option for us...too bad it doesn't quite come together.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMBest fish ever...This lovely restaurant tucked away in picturesque Larkspur is simply one of the best fish and seafood places you'll ever go to. Everything is fresh and delicious, and portions just right. Best of all, it is really relaxed and unpretentious - you can hang out on the patio or the front porch and sip your wine in the balmy Marin air, while your kids play in the sandpit (a favorite hangout). Staff are friendly and good at their jobs.2/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
