"Better the last time we came. Ceviche not as fresh. Ran out of cherrystone clams on chef's platter by 5pm on Sunday dinner. Forgot to include the shrimp on the chf's platter also. Not consistent. Service was ok."

"Another good dinner at local, reliable seafood joint Yankee Pier. The recommended dish of halibut, oven roasted, was excellent, though a little expensive for what you got given it is in season. Service was slow to start, but became better as the meal progressed."

"Love this restaurant and their food, though this was my first time in the Lafayette one. The service was pathetic. Our server came to greet us, brought menus and then she asked if we wanted bread, we said "no, thank you". Water arrived...and then NOTHING for 25 minutes. We finally asked the manger to get her. Another few minutes and she finally arrives, but with no apology! Instead she say she was "watching us" and that she decided we were not ready to order. She never asked us, and then she didn't even apologize. She kept saying we didn't look ready. Not my kind of service. Really good food, but really bad attitude, and will not go back. (And this is my first negative review)"

"All five us were very satisfied. The food was delicious! The service was great! We chose to eat outside it was very nice. We would certainly recommend this restaraunt to a friend and we will return I'm sure."

"I found this restaraunt to be very good, it was highly recommended to me. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat by the open kitchen, which was a bit noisy, but all in all it was a good experience. I am from San Diego and it is hard to compare sea food from San Diego to any where else, Mom and I had the Fish and Chips, they were very good. Again, I would recommend this place to all who visit this adorable town."

"Great food and great service. I used to go to lark creek walnut creek but the management and hostess do not know what customer service means. For us it is yankee pier NOT lark creek walnut creek. They are both run or owned by lark creek restaurant group but there is a world of difference."
