  • "Very good food and service. Rasta Pasta was outstanding."

  • "Lots of misfires by the restaurant. Dinners mixed up and not correct. Server was weak and not attentive. The manager on duty didn't care."

  • "Hostess was not at all welcoming, we were 10 min early. Directed us to bar but never came for us when she did begin seating patrons. A reason for my return visits for at least 5 yrs. is that I had always been greeted & seated cheerfully even when dining alone."

  • "I go down to visit my grandparents in Naples 2-3 times a year and we always have to go for dinner! Food, service, ambiance, and vibe is perfect for intimate dinners and also for the family."

  • "...but just OK. I didn't think our dining choices were outstanding (seafood pasta, parmesan crusted snapper, crab cake) in their preparation. The ambiance was good. The outdoor seating was lovely and lively. The service was very good. But, I thought it a tad overpriced."

  • "The waitress dropped an entire tray of dirty dishes behind me!!! It almost landed on my daughters head. Barbecue sauce all over our table cloth, my chair and my skirt! Not to mention, the sauce sprayed everywhere! The Maitre D never came over to our table, even though there was a lot of commotion!! I realize accidents happen and the waitress did say she was sorry, but a glass of club soda for my skirt simply didn't cut it!!! This was my husband's birthday dinner and it started the evening on a very bad note!! At the very least, we should have been comped dessert... The meal was just OK..... CERTAINLY NO ACCOMMODATIONS WERE MADE DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE! Eat at your own risk!!!"

  • "Yabba has a great location in Old Naples. The food (we both did pick your fish, prep method, sauce -- one pompano, one grouper) was tasty. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The host, however, had serious attitude. We had requested an outside table after making the reservation. They told us that there were no guarantees. Fine, that's true of most places. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and told the host that we'd come early so that we could be flexible should an outside table open up. He sneered, yes sneered, "Nothing's open and I don't hold them for you or anyone else." We almost cancelled the reservation. 15 mins later, a much more pleasant hostess gave us a table indoors but by the large open windows facing the street."

  • "We enjoy Yabba. It was one of the first restaurants we visited in 2002 and it has kept up its quality of food, friendly service and great ambience over the years. Will continue to patronize them for years to come."

  • "We've been here several times before. This experience was not up to par. It was the day after St. Patrick's day and when we tried to order several different tap beers we were told they were out because of St. Patty's day. One of the seafood orders had a "fishy" taste and smell and one of the salad dishes was not fresh."

  • "Yabba'a has a great "island" themed menu! Fish shrimp and ribs were all delicious. Desserts were unique and very tasty."

  • "Dinner at Yabba was a solid 3 stars. The food was ok, nothing special and very expensive for what it was - gilled/sauteed fish with a side. The drinks were good, albeit light on the booze. The service was ok at best. Bartenders were good, but we were mostly ignored by our server. Overall a 3 star experience. Highlight - sitting outside on a beautiful night in Naples."

  • "Very poor service and very poor quality of food fir 38.50 a plate. Grainy ahi tuna, waiter never even asked us how our meal was..."

  • "Had a Saturday evening reservation here with our 3 small kids. Was noisy enough with many conversations so that the kids' noise wasn't noticable. Food had a nice Caribbean flare, was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately no stone crab due to the area wide shortage. Nice kids meal as well."

  • "Another very nice visit to my daughter's favorite spot on 5th Avenue. The food is good…consistently so. Service very accomodating though a little slow this particular Saturday night. We enjoy dining here every visit to Naples."

  • "The food and our server were outstanding - the woman who called to confirm my resrevation lacked any type of personality and you could tell the 2 hostess were frazzled by the very busy evening. Definately would consider going back or recommend as a place to stop for a good meal."

  • "Whether it's 2 people or as on our last dining experience we have always enjoyed our meal & the atmosphere is always great. It's lively but not too noises and just a restaurant we can count on to bring friends visiting for the first time. Will return over & over during our winter stay!!"

  • "We often bring out of town guest to Yabba or their sister restaurant Pazzo both have good seating for people watching. Yabba has a nice menu with great fresh fish options which is what we usually go with. They also have a nice early bird menu. All the waitstaff are also very professional and friendly."

  • "We enjoy a meal (or two)at Yabba's ever year we visit Naples. We are never disappointed. Their Mac Grouper is delicious. My husband enjoys the Black Grouper grilled with the Mango Sweet and Spicy sauce. The "crazy cool" slaw is good too. If you feel like eating early, they have a great early dinning menu. Perfectly located in the heart of 5th Avenue."

  • "Booked a last minute reservation on a friend's recommendation. We had an 8:15 reservation, but after walking around 5th Avenue a bit, we were hungry early. We tried to get in earlier, and they said they were full, but to try back at 7:30. Did a bit more shopping and decided to go back and just have a drink at the bar. Turns out there was a cancellation, and they seated us at 7:15 at a great outdoor table. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, my martini was wonderful and we both loved our meals. I had the stuffed shrimp with crabmeat (delicious - very little breading) and my husband had a stuffed chicken dish that he loved with yummy smashed postatoes."

  • "I like this place and have been there several times. The location is great, in the heart of the Naples 5th Ave South scene. On this visit my meal was a little disappointing, but everyone else was delighted with theirs. If I had ordered my fish pan sautéed instead of grilled I think I would have been happier. The place was busy and it was left on the grill too long. I would still recommend it though. The food is generally good and not really overpriced for the location. It's kid-friendly too. As long as you don't expect gourmet dining you should be satisfied."

  • "This restaurant located in Olde Naples has a beautifully decorated tropical theme. It sets the mood for a nice relaxing dinner whether one is on vacation or just out for the evening. The food is always fresh and the selections unique. It is a plus that Happy Hour prices are also available in the dining room. The regular menu prices are very reasonable. Yabba is one of our local year-round favorites. We especially like the location and the open air design."

  • "The only three things this place has. The food was HORRIFIC. Too busy to take care of guests - it isn't out fault it is the height of the season. Nice sitting outside under the lights of the trees. Other than that it sucked."

  • "-Travel to Naples regularly and always go to Yabba's; family favorite for years. Like the casual, island atmosphere combined with what had been very good food. This experience will make us reconsider this. -Drinks and appetizers were very good - Coconut shrimp, Caribbean egg rolls, Sunset salad and tomato soup. -Multiple of our entrees were mediocre to very poor. Many were overcooked. -The Grilled shrimp (fresh fish entree with pick your side/sauce) was very dry with a strong fishy taste. Not good, and could not be finished. Black grouper from same section of menu was overcooked. Mac Grouper, which has been excellent in the past, and is a signature dish, was overcooked and dry. Very disappointing. Unlikely to return or recommend anymore."

  • "Great atmosphere. Menu was too large, I couldn't turn it at our small table. Wanted to put fish on a salad but told I could only do chicken or shrimp. Prices were way too high for fish. Server seemed a little inexperienced. We received warm Draft beer. My raw bar item leaked all over the table, server didn't remove until end of eating. I may come back but portions were small with high prices."

  • "Good meal (generous portion for early dining) + wine = great value. Chow Chow Chicken and Rasta Pasta are our favorites. The food is always delivered HOT to our table which is important to us. We request seating in the outer dining room next to 5th where it is less noisy than the bar, patio, and larger dining room. We have been here 4 times this season."

  • "We took our son & girlfriend (from Manhattan) to Yabba on Saturday evening. They enjoyed it and they are used to all kinds of things in the city. Everything was so good, the food, the service, etc. Definitely would go again & have already told other friends how nice it was."

  • "I had the stuffed chicken breast encrusted with something. The chicken was tough and the outside was burned in places. This is very unusual for Yabba but they sure dropped the ball on this entree. My wife had a fish dish and it was very good."
