Had the perfect birthday luncheon for my mother and her nine friends in a private room - great service, tasty food. They have a lovely variety of pastries, omelet station and round of beef, (meat varies). The brunch is very pleasant also, when the weather is warmer and the patio is open.
The lunches and dinners are also very good, and consistent, and the staff is always pleasant.

The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The menu changes with the seasons and the chefs do a beautiful job of using local and seasonal ingredients. I always enjoy the duck and the lamb in particular... and though it isn't a starter, we've become addicted to starting with the Chicken Piadini. We love to try the wine parings with the small plates, even with wines we wouldn't normally order it is always an extraordinary taste combination; you can't go wrong if they suggest a particular wine for anything you order! We had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table, it was a Saturday night and very busy. I was impressed that they did not shovel us to the bar. Our waitress was wonderful. The foret is a pilsner that tasted premature (requires more aging). Probably not something the restaurant can control. I recommend NOT pairing the Foret with the Alsatian pork and think it requires a richer, redder lager during the cold months like Fat Tire or Sam Adams. During the warm months, I recommend a lighter bisquity lager from one of the local microbrews like Hops Lightening Bold or Coors Banquet. Don't laugh. Coors Banquet is an excellent summer beer (NOT the light) that is tasty and naturally light. Heavier redder beers work best in the colder months while the lighter beers work well in warmer months. The food, wine, and dessert were all delicious (we love Soufflé's!) It is a perfect restaurant for a very romantic evening. The only drawback for us on that evening was the service wasn't 5 star. It was good, but not great, as we had to wait for our server quite a bit on two occasions. But the food made up for that. Be prepared to spend some coin, as it isn't cheap (I don't agree with Open Table's classification of $$, as it should be $$$). But we knew that going in, so we weren't expecting any different.
