Diner Reviews
  • "Food was very good, We order many different things to try and each of them was very good. Everything had its own distinct flavor. Would go back"

  • "Pluses: Great wine list! There was actually a wine from the small Spanish hometown of my mother...Viva Almansa! (although they were out of it) Aesthetically pleasing crowd and atmosphere. The food was good but nothing really stood out except for the Arugula Puree on the Wynwood Salad. Minuses: Smoking is permitted on the patio, thus our dessert tasted like an ashtray. DJ was a little too loud."

  • "Food and service were great, and setting amongst the art was outrageous. Happened to show up on a Thursday, which was the night for a disco DJ - surely they can do better than that. The only thing I would caution first-time visitors on is not to be misled be the moderate prices on the menu: the dishes are tapas-style hence smaller than you might otherwise expect. Still good value, though."

  • "I am so glad that I read this article! I was immediately intrigued by the whole concept. We had a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was all wonderful! They serve everything tapas style which gave us the opportunity to try lots of different things. We loved the Brussel sprouts and the empanadas! All the sauces that complemented each dish were excellent! The view of the Wynwood Wall graffiti was amazing, it made for a nice stroll after lunch. I can' t wait to tell my friends about this place!"

  • "Food was too expensive to have small portions. They said two people could share but that was wayyy too small"

  • "we went here early on a Friday - 6pm- the bar was lively, and outside covered seating was relatively quiet and relaxing. We chose outside. shared 3 dishes (2 probably would have been okay for two women) -- hamachi ceviche, chicken breast & quinoa, tomato/cheese salad. The ceviche & chicken were flavorful, well prepared, delicious. Flavor combos of the tomato salad were good, but the tomatoes were not really ripe, so only okay. Good drinks, though wished our server had mentioned Happy Hour specials before we put in our orders. Interesting latin/Miami flavors. I'd come back when in town again."

  • "First time we have been to the restaurant and great atmosphere, we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we entered the front door. Taken to our table after being asked if we would first like a drink at the bar, which was a nice professional touch, especially as they had a table ready for us. Food was excellent and nice size portions. Well done in having such a great restaurant in Miami, wie will bring our friends next week, thank you the staff and manager"

  • "We dined with another couple at WKB in mid-week before going to the theatre at the Light Box. The show was outstanding, but the dinner at WKB was the highlight of the evening. The ambiance was casual, but sophisticated; the hostess was very friendly and very efficient. The manager was very attentive and quite responsive; but the FOOD, the FOOD was beyond what I had expected or even hoped for. The queso fito, the shrimp ceviche, the short ribs, the guacamole, were absolutely off the charts. The bread was a bit of a disappointment and unfortunately we couldn't stay for dessert, but we can't wait to go there again."

  • "Worldly fusion is what the Kitchen is all about. If they can develop an interesting combination of tastes from different parts of the world, they will do it. Small portions, tapas, are the order of the day, so sampling is fun and easy. Staff is informed, pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is in the graffiti capital of Miami and the décor inside and out reflects that. You won't be bored."

  • "Nothing extraordinary food-wise, but very decent. A little bit too noisy but the place and staff are both very nice. Recommended for casual dinner with friends..."

  • "Interesting. Place was fun and offered something to do. Food more expensive than anticipated. Menu viewed online offered a special for tapas that waitress said that it was probably an old menu as they did not any of the specials we saw at their web site. $35 for a pitcher of white or red sangria which was largely composed of ice and little fruit means you should not order it. Most of it was soda water. Stick to the expensive wine list."

  • "Yes, it's possible! I finally got a reservation at the Wynwood Kitchen and was I ever happy! They were warm, accomodating, and eager to please. The food was divine. You simply must try the baby octopus skewers! So tender! And the tuna ceviche was crunchy and surprising. And their Brussels sprouts might easily have been the best I've ever tasted. EVERYTHING was delicious!"

  • "I went on a beautiful Saturday with 4 people (one of whom is vegan) two young kids and a dog....needless to say, that composition made us a high-maintenance group. The restaurant was filled up outside since it was such a beautiful weekend day. But the staff was extremely accommodating, setting up a table chairs for us in a shady area of the lawn so that the kids could be in the shade. They even brought a water bowl for the dog. On top of the great service, the food was excellent... Tasty dishes, even for our vegan friend. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Wynwood kitchen is surrounded by wynwood walls of beautiful Murals. The food is interesting with ropa vieja empanadas to octopus skewers, try things you have never tasted, you won't be Disappointed. Parking was easy if you eat early in evening but still not too bad."

  • "The food, ambiance and service were fantastic. We went with a large group and all loved it. We had fun drinks, good wine, tried all kinds of apps and some of the best were the Queso Frito, Hamachi Ceviche and Octopus skewers. We looked at all the cool artwork in the gallery which was fun. The servers were above and beyond. The only downside is that it's off the beaten path and could take a little while if you need a cab after dinner"

  • "Visiting Miami, we looked for a unique experience and found it at Wynwood. The food was pretty good- tapas true to the Spanish flavors. We really liked the chorizo hash, but everything was delicious. Ask to sit outside and enjoy the walls of street art around you from renowned artists."

  • "I was waiting to go to this places for a long time now and worth it. My friend and I annoy the restaurant and the services team was very friendly. We eat three different plates for share. Our favorite plates was brisk rips. We really recommended. After that we eat a datiles wrapped in bacon with argula salad. We try this ones to compare with others on midtown, unfortunately wasn't so good an we think they are to small. The their plates was the famous Ropa Vieja Empanadas, that ones where good and well filled. Maybe the mass should be a litter more thing, to enjoy the meat better."

  • "Cocktails at the bar were excellent. Service started off excellent and then fizzled. Once the order was in the server was MIA. The part that got annoying was that the food runners had no idea which tables were which. The approached our table no less then 8 or 9 times, we ordered 4 items. That means they offered us 4 or 5 items that were meant for other tables around us. I saw our empenadas offered to 3 other tables before it finally made it to ours. We ordered pork bellies, the food runner brought us a dish and said it was pork, so we said it was ours. On the only visit from the server after our food was ordered, she told us that that was not the right dish, which we had already eaten half of, she picked up the dish and walked away."

  • "Wynwood Kitchen + Bar is always a great spot! I've been various times, and it never fails. The bacon wrapped dates and the rope vieja empanadas are always a must! This time I went in a bigger group so I was able to order in real tapas style to try a few more plates. The vaca frita and short rib dinners were delicious - so were the shrimp tacos and the deviled eggs. For dessert, these people have created my dream come true .. tres leches AND tiramisu in one dish. I insisted on trying it and my friends resisted until it got to the table. not one clean spoon left! As long as they continue to impress me, I will continue to return to wynwood kitchen + bar and bring my friends along with me too."

  • "Great pricing food. Be aware that each course is not delivered at the same to the table. Promotes sharing so others are not waiting for their food."

  • "Food was very nice, baby octopus skewer was especially delicious. Sevice very efficient. Wynnwod Walls located in the back yard of the restaurant make it for an unforgetable experience. A must-visit."

  • "This place has a tendency to be a bit obnoxious, although the food was outstanding, the service could use a little help, and the owner manager could use a little attitude adjustment. I guess sometimes when success happens it gets a little too far in people's head to remember humility and courtesy. The place was empty and after requesting for a table outside we were herded into a table of 4 for a party of 5 by the bathroom... What a lovely welcome.... And that would have been alright if we were small children, but for the love of God we were all grown adults and don't need to be dining with elbows in front of each other!?!! If only common sense would dictate, perhaps this place can be run more efficiently. Food gets an A, service a big fat F"
