A word from Wyebrook Farm Market & Cafe
Wyebrook Farm Market and Cafe is located in a beautiful 18th Century stone barn in pastoral Chester County, PA. The café offers a seasonal menu of dishes featuring meat raised right here on the farm along with other locally-produced vegetables and cheeses.

In our Market we offer hand-butchered beef, pork, lamb, goat and chicken in our butcher shop area which can be cut to your exact specification. We also have many hard-to-find items such as cheek, tongue, offal, tail, marrow bones, ears, and feet. We can uniquely tell you how the meat you buy spent every day of its life.

This trip was a return vist to WF for Dorothy & Sofia, however it was a first for Rose, Blanche, Stan & Salvadore. The experience was simply divine. Starting with the service, we were greeted & quickly seated without incident. We were given ample time to organize ourselves and offered assistance to open our bottle of bubbly & vino. Our server, Tara, was friendly, knowledgable & a sheer sweetheart. The brunch selections were plentiful & portions adequate. We never felt rushed or hurried in anyway whatsoever. We will be making many more visits to Wyebrook Farms.

Our order was taken shortly after we were seated. We received our appetizer, the bread basket, in good time. It was excellent. However, our waitress forgot to put in our food order and never checked back with us once she served the appetizer. My husband finally caught her eye. She came over to apologize and let us know what happened. She did comp us the bread basket, but again once she finally served us our food (almost an hour after being seated) she didn't check back again until after we were finished. It was disappointing because we had travelled an hour and a half to have brunch. I'd been following them on Facebook. The food was ok, but the burger was in need of salt and pepper and the breading fell off the chicken fried steak.

My family and I attended for Sunday brunch. We had four orders of french toast and a chicken salad sandwich. It took an hour and twenty minutes for us to get our food. The staff at this establishment seem to have little care for their customers. It was as if whenever your food was delivered, you should feel honored. Then on top of that it was extremely expensive for a poor dining experience. We will not be going back!

Wyebrook is a working farm. The meats they use are raised on site. No drugs, growth hormones, antibiotics etc. I had a steak which was fantastic. The texture was firmer than what I normally get. Service was great - at one point a chicken joined us at our table. You can sit outside and the restaurant is dog friendly. BYOB. I will be going back - a LOT. I really enjoyed my meal. Don't forget to visit the market - you can buy a wide range of hormone, drug free foods.

It's rare to find a place where you can actually walk around a farm and see what's for dinner. Our second visit to Wyebrook was every bit as good and maybe better than the first. This time I "Settled" for a burger that was by far one of the best I've ever had and my wife had the steak with some of the best mashed potatoes ever. We sat up on the balcony which gave us great views overlooking the picnic table dining and over the entire farm. Only thing that it lacks is comfortable seating.

Absolutely every aspect of our dining experience @ Wyebrook was stellar! Our meal was fantastic, the pumpkin bisque was the best I've had! Each of us ordered a different dish and ALL four in our party loved everything! We so appreciated the friendly, warm manner of the servers and Wyebrook staff!

This is a really different dining experience, and one I highly recommend, even if you have small kids in tow. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere will lighten your soul, and the service is very good. Picnic tables are adorned with sheepskins for seating, there are blankets available if you want to snuggle, each table (picnic tables) has an elegant umbrella and lighting (candle or otherwise) and although a little cool the night we went, the place was packed. You could easily spend a few hours there before dinner touring the place with the kids, taking a tractor tour, wandering around, going to the market, etc. Fun. Will go again.

I can't really compare anywhere else I've been to Wyebrook Farms. Think four-star picnic experience. My wife had a pork sirloin and I had the beef sirloin. Kids had burgers and fries - all fresh meat from animals raised on property - and some of the best fries I've had. Veggies were perfect. Portions were plenty, but not overly large. What may not work for everyone: there is some inside seating, but most diners sit outside at picnic tables. The view is unbelievable and in good weather, it's magic. They have blankets if you get cold as the sun goes down and towards sunset they lit a nice fire. I could see, however, that it was not everyone's ideal - a few older patrons in particular seemed uncomfortable.

We were told to checkin inside because the hostess and her "computer" were there. It turns out that we were talking to the hostess and her computer was a tablet. It took almost 35 minutes to be seated for our reservation when the seating was less than half full. It took our server over 15 minutes to acknowledge us. We had to proactically beg for refills on the substandard coffee and we got tired of waiting for the maple syruip for our pancakes so we were almost done with them when it was brough. We had tried the chicken fried steak on previous visits and it was wonderful. This time it was less than half the size as before and the meat was tough, chewy and greasy. Nice view, bad food, aweful service.

Lovely views - Too bad the poor service detracted from it all. The food was just "okay" - definitely not worth the price. I was excited at the beginning, and was underwhelmed and disappointed at the end. Nice concept, poor execution. I would suggest that the management make sure their servers know 1. How to open a cork without disintegrating it 2. If they lack the skill and get cork in the wine, offer a sieve to drain it, 3. Apologize if they forget an item u ordered 4. If the title is misleading, explain u are getting purely a vegetarian meal and not 'scallops" BEFORE u order, and not laugh it off after you brought it to their attention. I'm not a picky diner, just would have liked to enjoy my evening sans the aforementioned faux pas.

Sitting outside watching the stars come out, listening to wonderful live music, enjoying a byob bottle of wine, leisurely savoring incredible dish after dish! Nights do not get much more perfect than a night at Wyebrook. Or a day, too, for that matter! Servings were nicely sized. Food options were amazing. Oh, service was so friendly.

This restaurant is in a pretty remote location but definitely worth the trek. The scenery was amazing. Nice inside but the real treasure is eating outside. Tables overlook farmland, hill and foliage. Soft live music plays while you enjoy the sites and the amazing food. The sun began to set while we were there making the view even more spectacular. When dusk finally came, the staff brings out lanterns to light the tables. The food was a bit pricey but what you would expect for organic - farm to table entrees. Desert was decadent and delicious. Would recommend to all. Great romantic setting for dates and/or special occasions.

We've been to this market and cafe before. This time it was for brunch. The outdoor seating area is cute and clean. The large picnic tables are perfect for outdoor dining, but the cloth napkins help show the quality of the place. The brunch menu is limited, but it's still hard to pick just one. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was meaty and I loved the dressing that was on it. My husband had the corn flake crusted french toast. The crunciness of the french toast made it stand out from regular french toast. The peaches and cream on the french toast simply added to the overall dish. The portions are huge; we both took about half of our meals home to eat later. The service is awesome too. We can't wait to come back again.
