We had dinner at Wyebrook in November inside the barn, it was very cold inside that I had to wear my coat to fine. We were seated against the stone wall, and drafts of the 45 degree weather were blowing in. They did offer blankets, but not my idea of a fine indoor dining experience. The appetizers and main courses were good, not great and wouldn't go out of the way to have dinner here again. The dessert, caramel butter cake, was fantastic. We had an outdoor lunch here a few weeks ago, and the lunch menu was fantastic, we were looking forward to a similar experience; however, the meals were about average, and the cold was distracting.

  • Perfect Anniversary Dinner!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2014
    Dined on 11/22/2014
My husband and I came here to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary after hearing friends rave about this place. Everything was perfect! It is a BYOB place, which was great because we had a special bottle of wine just waiting for an occasion worthy of opening. The restaurant is in an old barn which provides a very rustic and unique setting. It was a bit drafty but our waitress offered us blankets. We had excellent service the entire night with a very attentive waitress who explained all of the selections and answered our questions. The menu is eclectic and we had a very hard time deciding what to order! All of their meat and veggie ingredients are raised/grown on premises or locally sourced, so very fresh. Everything we ordered was expertly prepared and vibrant/bursting with flavor. Will definitely return!

If you're looking for wonderful sustainable food, cooked to order then this is the place for you. During the warmer months it's great sitting out stores for brunch. But even in the cooler months, the inside is comfortable and cozy. The food is fabulous. And you can visit the animals that are raised on the farm that eventually make it to your plate. Vegetables are grown in the garden and they have many all vegetable vegan type dishes.

We went on a chilly dark evening for our first visit to the farm. We got there a little early in order to purchase some meats from the market. The small space they have for serving during the winter was just perfect. It was cozy and the mood set in the barn was great. The food was delicious and the helpings were good. Everyone we spoke to that worked there was so pleasant and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be referring them and returning. Can't wait for the summer with outside dining and music! Sorry we waited so long to visit this little gem!

My wife and I tried Wyebrook Farms for the first time, for a Sunday brunch. I had high hope, but unfortunately they were soon dashed. A request for a window seat was met with " We need to save those seats for parties of four (nevered arrived in our hour+ long visit). The room was cold and somewhat drafty (unpleasant). The waitress was cordial and efficient, though she and two patrons chose to wear winter hats (cold ,I guess ?!)The coffee was tepid at best, the toast dry,the bacon chewy & bland and eggs that were OK. The food was delivered from the kitchen via an outside deck into the dining area ??!!Breakfast for two, including a tip was $ 47.00.Overpriced for what we ordered ! We walked outside to the view of an open, overflowing dumpster.

While we had been told that the restaurant was very good and we expected our experience to be a good one, in actuality everything about the restaurant far exceeded those expectations. We were excited about going to a restaurant where all the meat is grown on their own farm, we really were awed by the menu and by artistry of the chef at every level. The grass-fed beef was mouthwatering delicious, done exactly as we had ordered it. The salads were rare treats like fig and arugula or apple, blue cheese, and pecans chopped together. The desserts were fantastic. In short, we can hardly wait to return. BTW, the BYOB invitation us enabled to bring some of our favorite wines.

Overall wonderful experience right in our backyard. Diners should note that portions are small - cheese and meat appetizers have only a tiny taste of the cheeses and meats - probably only enough for 1 or 2 at most. Both the burger and steak were very rare even though we ordered med/rare.

We absolutely loved the entire experience! It was a last minute decision and we were able to get reservations. We did dine inside because it was very cold outside but all 4 of us loved it. The atmosphere was great, we dressed casually and loved the farm setting. I would love to come back during the day and when we can dine outside. Good luck and thank you very much!!

We heard about Wyebrook in September from friends of ours who had visited, and we went three times in Ocotober - twice for dinner and now this most recent time for lunch. Each experience has been excellent, despite the distinct nature of each event (a romantic date, a group gathering, a family lunch). The ambiance and view is extraordinary and the food is delectable--fresh and full of interesting flavors. Portions are generous and filling, despite moderate prices. In just a few weeks, this has become our favorite restaurant. We can't wait to go back!

We have been shopping at the Wyebrook market for a year and finally got there for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and really liked the fact that the meats are all from their farm. The selection was small. There was a vegetarian option as well as a a couple of beef choices, a chicken and pork dish. The menu changes seasonally which is nice. The meals were beautifully presented and the ambience in the restored barn was very nice. We brought along 3 friends and they were very impressed. One said it was so much better than driving into the City for the "trendy restaurant of the week". The one thing to keep in mind is that the place is small and very busy so you can't linger after dinner! We will return!

I ordered the special which was a pork chop. it arrived less cooked than I am comfortable eating so I would suggest to the kitchen that the server ask (when the order is taken) how the customer would like the meat done (medium rare, medium well) the same way they ask about a beef steak.

Food was fabulous, as usual. We were greeted and sat immediately upon arrival. Our waitress was very prompt and great at explaining the menu and food. We tried about everything between all of our group, and the food was amazing. Portion sizes were good- there was more than enough. I got the beef stroganoff and the bowl was huge- I brought half home so I would still have room for dessert!

This trip was a return vist to WF for Dorothy & Sofia, however it was a first for Rose, Blanche, Stan & Salvadore. The experience was simply divine. Starting with the service, we were greeted & quickly seated without incident. We were given ample time to organize ourselves and offered assistance to open our bottle of bubbly & vino. Our server, Tara, was friendly, knowledgable & a sheer sweetheart. The brunch selections were plentiful & portions adequate. We never felt rushed or hurried in anyway whatsoever. We will be making many more visits to Wyebrook Farms.

Our order was taken shortly after we were seated. We received our appetizer, the bread basket, in good time. It was excellent. However, our waitress forgot to put in our food order and never checked back with us once she served the appetizer. My husband finally caught her eye. She came over to apologize and let us know what happened. She did comp us the bread basket, but again once she finally served us our food (almost an hour after being seated) she didn't check back again until after we were finished. It was disappointing because we had travelled an hour and a half to have brunch. I'd been following them on Facebook. The food was ok, but the burger was in need of salt and pepper and the breading fell off the chicken fried steak.

My family and I attended for Sunday brunch. We had four orders of french toast and a chicken salad sandwich. It took an hour and twenty minutes for us to get our food. The staff at this establishment seem to have little care for their customers. It was as if whenever your food was delivered, you should feel honored. Then on top of that it was extremely expensive for a poor dining experience. We will not be going back!

Wyebrook is a working farm. The meats they use are raised on site. No drugs, growth hormones, antibiotics etc. I had a steak which was fantastic. The texture was firmer than what I normally get. Service was great - at one point a chicken joined us at our table. You can sit outside and the restaurant is dog friendly. BYOB. I will be going back - a LOT. I really enjoyed my meal. Don't forget to visit the market - you can buy a wide range of hormone, drug free foods.

It's rare to find a place where you can actually walk around a farm and see what's for dinner. Our second visit to Wyebrook was every bit as good and maybe better than the first. This time I "Settled" for a burger that was by far one of the best I've ever had and my wife had the steak with some of the best mashed potatoes ever. We sat up on the balcony which gave us great views overlooking the picnic table dining and over the entire farm. Only thing that it lacks is comfortable seating.
