A word from Wyebrook Farm Market & Cafe
Wyebrook Farm Market and Cafe is located in a beautiful 18th Century stone barn in pastoral Chester County, PA. The café offers a seasonal menu of dishes featuring meat raised right here on the farm along with other locally-produced vegetables and cheeses.

In our Market we offer hand-butchered beef, pork, lamb, goat and chicken in our butcher shop area which can be cut to your exact specification. We also have many hard-to-find items such as cheek, tongue, offal, tail, marrow bones, ears, and feet. We can uniquely tell you how the meat you buy spent every day of its life.

  • "Went with friends had a wonderful brunch the view and everything about the farm was inviting so much I didn't want to leave."

  • "I was so excited to tick this off the summer bucket list. Beautiful & charming place. Fun for the family, though service was slow and food not exactly kid friendly. Would prob just bring adults next time. Most meals & apps were great. I had the chicken salad which was disappointing only because there was gristle & tendons left attached. Had they taken a little time to "clean" the meat it would have been great. Will definitely try it again."

  • "I had been to the lunch many times. fair price for quality food, small but well rounded menu. this was my first dinner. disappointed in the menu. very narrow. I brought a beef eater friend who is unable to eat pork. not one beef item available. even the burger had bacon pieces in the burger. menu too narrow, portions small, prices high. I will stick to lunch. also it took one hour to get dinner. that was a long hour sitting on a picnic table bench."

  • "I took my wife here for her birthday. We had an 8pm reservation, so we got to watch the sunset as we dined. That alone was worth the trip! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing...we had no complaints. I would recommend the bacon Mac and cheese, among other things. Highly recommended."

  • "This was my second time eating at Wyebrook and they didn't disappoint. The meal was amazing and the atmosphere is like none other. It's a place where you can just relax and be happy! My husband said he'd have "a bite" if I ordered dessert because he's not a huge dessert person. He ended up scraping the bowl of our lemon lavender rice pudding creme brûlée because it was so delicious!! I can't wait for next time!"

  • "This was a wonderful restaurant with a very scenic view. I needed a gluten free diet and they accommodated me wonderfully. They even had gf bread and dessert. Love that it's a BYOB."

  • "I am almost hesitant to recommend this wonderful place as I'm afraid that it will just get too popular! So far it's been a hidden neighborhood gem and I have been keeping it all to myself!"

  • "Went for a birthday celebration. There aren't words for how stunning the views and location are. The food is extremely imaginative combinations of flavors, making it hard to decide what to order. (I wanted to try one of everything) I wish I lived closer because I would come there all the time. The staff is beyond nice and do a wonderful job sharing information about the farm. (you can tell they really enjoy working there) Definitely go inside and check out the market, it looks like something out of a magazine. There's a really cool selection of farm and local products. This is definitely one of the most special places I've ever been."

  • "Nice atmosphere- dining at picnic tables next to a rustic old bank barn, with nice countryside to stare at. Its BYOB. Cutesy/trendy- a change of pace from an ordinary bar & grille. The food: I ordered the hamburger. When asked how I'd like it- I replied "medium." Waitress: " *Ahem* You realize of course that medium will be just a little pink inside" Yep, that's what 'medium' means; its why I gave you that answer. So, when the burger arrived...its...well done. No pink at all. On its way to being dry. It reminded me of what I'm capable of grilling at home...except I can do Medium. Oh but then Kolb Bros ground beef isn't organic/free-range/sustainable blahblahblah. Party of 8 all agreed - OK, but, zero desire to go back."

  • "If you enjoy farm-to-table restaurants, the experience does not get better than better or more literal than Wyebrook Farm. We have been to Wyebrook many times to shop their market, and enjoy their cafe menu as well as special chef dinners. This was our first visit since they've expanded their dinner menu and made it available several nights a week. We could not have been happier with the dining experience. Wyebrook is BYOB, so you can take your favorite libation to complement their spectacular food, featuring beef, chicken and pork all raised at Wyebrook. There is alway and vegetarian offering as well. You can't get more farm-to-table than that. Excellent service too. If you have not been to Wyebrook, GO!! It is not to be missed."

  • "My only regret is that it was our first time there! Everything single thing we ate was delicious with excellent flavor balance and clearly fresh. The chicken and gnocchi, and the Thai cucumber side dish were my favorite. The market was fantastic too. The honey lavender blueberry jammer biscuits are a perfect take home treat."

  • "This was our second time dining at Wyebrook Farm and it just keeps getting better! The food is always fresh and super delicious, we haven't had anything less than perfection! The staff is great, very welcoming and friendly. We love Wybrook Farm this is definitely our new favorite go-to spot for dinner!"

  • "I live across the field on my family farm and cannot express my appreciation enough for what Dean has brought to the neighborhood. I will admit that sometimes I am a little stunned at how FANCY the place is (we just are not fancy) - its like suddenly someone in your family starts wearing their Sunday clothes all week long) Wyebrook is fancy in a tasteful and appropriate way. Everyone should visit, get your meal, enjoy the view, share a table with strangers and make some new friends! If you are lucky enough to meet some locals ask them about growing up here! I've had some great meals here: having raised our own table meats and vegies I appreciate the work it takes to bring those chores to an art form, which Dean & Emelie has done."

  • "Pure, simple and yet culinarily refined BYOB….. unique items on the menu and we felt no guilt abut what we ate…… oh and did I mention relaxing?"

  • "Overall excellent. Had to give 3 stars for service because it was a busy night and the family next to us who sat down prior to our arrival still didn't have their salads when our meal was served. Amazing find. Recommending to all of my foodie-friends"

  • "BYOB a real plus. Food was delicious. Have to say the picnic benches are not the most comfortable"

  • "Wyebrook exceeded our expectations. It was a long ride from Delaware Co. but worth the trip. The hostess and servers were friendly attentive and very efficient. The view from the outdoor terrace was a classic, bucolic Brandywine Valley masterpiece with the pond, animals feeding, and purple martins flitting in and out of the busy martin condo. We had salads were FRESH and the braised beef and pork tenderloin bolognese were memorable. I only wish they had put out the soft lambswool cushions they use inside on the outdoor benches as well."

  • "This out of the way place is perfect for those who like beautiful scenery while eating great local, sustainable food. All meat is raised on property and the vegetables they get from local farms. Creative meals, appropriately sized made for a amazing find about 10 miles from our house. We are looking forward to going back to the restaurant."

  • "as always food was excellent and fresh. our server was friendly and knowledgeable. prompt with service. it was a rainy night so we ate inside. we were bummed to miss out on the outdoor dining but the barn is beautiful. it is a little awkward sharing a bench with other diners however we didn't mind. the only thing that did bother us was the lighting in there is so bright. not great for setting the mood for a romantic evening meal. the only thing I would change is just to dim the lights a tad in there."

  • "We dined at Wyebrook Farm 3 times last year and couldn't wait to go back this summer and introduce more of our friends to the fabulous food and spectacular setting. The new menu is phenomenal and the setting is even nicer. After your wine is gone, you have room in your cooler to take home some fabulous meats and cheeses from the shop. Dining out doesn't get any better or healthier than this. Plus the new expanded indoor seating will keep us coming back year-round. What an amazing place indeed!"

  • "I rarely leave the city for a meal. Wyebrook, however, was absolutely worth it. Incredible to see how well the animals are cared for, the herb and vegetable garden, and to sit and linger over BYO wine and truly excellent food. We brought the kids and the dog, and will be back soon. Bravo!!"

  • "We have been coming to wyebrook since opening day and have loved watch the farm evolve into the amazing place it is today. From the farm tour of the animals, the convenient market, the beautiful barn and gardens, right down to the no frills picnic benches paired with white dining plates and linen napkins. The experience is like no other in the area. And I haven't even gotten to how delicious the food is. The burger is a MUST, along with everything else on the menu. If I could live there I would!!"

  • "Went to dinner with my friend on the spur of the moment. We had an awesome time. The food was great the staff attentive and the outdoor view was spectacular !! I highly recommend Wyebrook to all. It is suited to all, families, date night or a bunch of girlfriends out for the night. It is BYOB so that is great as well. Wyebrook is a hidden Gem!"

  • "We had a wonderful dinner outside in the courtyard and enjoyed the beautiful views. The pepper crusted pork loin very good and the service was prompt, friendly and easy going. The indoor dining area is beautiful too! I will definitely return to try their brunch!"

  • "Wyebrook Farm is my new favorite spot! I love, love, love it here! The view is gorgeous. The food is awesome. It's a great spot for kids to run around and play while parents have a break with a glass of wine (you'll have to bring your own). It would also make a nice romantic date, kid-free. All of the food is local, fresh, and fantastic! The prices are reasonable. I can't think of one negative thing to say. It's perfect."

  • "With its simple yet elegant ambiance, Wyebrook Farm offers the refreshing change to the chain & other local eateries. The setting is unlike no other as you actually dine on the farm having your choice between dining in the sophisticated market/butcher shop with cozy family style seating inside or outside with the scenic view of the farm on the veranda or the lower patio. Choose to sit outside and Wyebrook's friendly staff will provide you with a complimentary blanket to snuggle in. All the food you will consume comes from the farm and is the freshest I've had in ages. Just bring a bottle with you as they are a BYOB. Whether you are looking for a place to go with the family or for a romantic night out Wyebrook Farm will meet all your needs."

  • "I love the setting of this place, out in the country on a sprawling farm. Just being there is a treat in itself. The dining experience was great as well, with outdoor seating and a pleasant view on the rolling hills beyond. We were there for brunch. The food is very good, though we found the portion sizes for the bread basket and the cheese plate to be too small for their prices and would not order them again for that reason. The main dishes were more reasonably priced, the chicken fried steak and mushroom soup were innovative and delicious. The waitress was friendly and professional. I would like to try it for dinner."

  • "This was our first time at Wyebrook farms and it was excellent. Loved the view. We sat under a huge tent outside which was there for a wedding this weekend and we all had great food. Menu choices were small but all entrees and appetizers were delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful in choosing our entrees. Would recommend this and we will be back! Loved the herb garden and gardens and we all bought food from the market upstairs which was perfect."

  • "The serving sizes were too small for the men in our party and we could not get our server's attention all evening. She spent most of the evening in the kitchen area and none of the other servers would make eye contact. It was dissappointing as the restaurant was not very busy. None of us said we would hurry back but we would all give them a second try if we didn't know where else to go."
