A word from Wyebrook Farm Market & Cafe
Wyebrook Farm Market and Cafe is located in a beautiful 18th Century stone barn in pastoral Chester County, PA. The café offers a seasonal menu of dishes featuring meat raised right here on the farm along with other locally-produced vegetables and cheeses.

In our Market we offer hand-butchered beef, pork, lamb, goat and chicken in our butcher shop area which can be cut to your exact specification. We also have many hard-to-find items such as cheek, tongue, offal, tail, marrow bones, ears, and feet. We can uniquely tell you how the meat you buy spent every day of its life.

Diner Reviews
  • "I have had both lunch and brunch there now and have been very pleased with the food and the whole experience. The chicken friend steak on the brunch menu is phenominal and you don't feel bloated or weighed down. It is not what I would normally order, but it was recommended and I was not disappointed in the least. I love the Market and walking around the paths and seeing the animals as well. It is a really wonderful experience and I highly recommend going there."

  • "We've heard about Wyebrook farm for a long time as we live only a few miles away. Decided to try it out for Sunday brunch and found all the rave reviews were right. Will be back and bringing friends and family."

  • "Thrilled to find this great farm to table in our backyard. Food source nearly all off the farm was delish. The views when dining outside are amazing and the staff is superb! We will be back."

  • "First time visit to Wyebrook Farm this Friday night was off the charts fantastic. Gorgeous country setting 7 miles from our home, byob, no rush, fantastic food...organic and locally grown. Pork Bolognese was amazing. Sat on the balcony overlooking the fields and watched the sunset on a perfect summer night. Already made my next reservation!"

  • "We have been here several times and the food is incredible, everything has been wonderful, farm to table, inventive, super fresh and very tasty! We also love the market where you can buy most their fresh meats and local cheeses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of our favorite places to go and we are thrilled that it is local."

  • "The secret is out, the farm is a. Great place which was evident with the crowd there Saturday night. Happy to see there is a kids menu now."

  • "We decided to come here for our 6 year anniversary. It is nice to have a place like this close to home that offers NON-GMO food. I am happy that they also use local produce and other local items. The food was excellent...burger was cooked to perfection and the pulled pork sandwich was the best we ever tasted. The cheese plate was amazing and so was the swiss chard/ beet salad. For desert we had ordered the almond flour cake. Everything was above our expectations. We will be back!"

  • "Wonderful experience. All the food was delicious. Friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere, grounds. Kid friendly both in setting and staff- Treehouse and tire swing on one side, open field with free roaming pig pen on the other side. Staff invite kids to walk around the property and look at things. Very nice herb garden area if you feel like dining semi-privately. This will be a regular place to go to for us."

  • "Love coming to Wyebrook but Fridays much anticipated best burger in Chester county was way over cooked and disappointing. Kale Salad rocked and so did everything else! Baconaise made the whole meal :-)! Our server And hostess were awesome! Have been several times and food was superb but wasn't at its best on Fri. My husband had steak special and also wasn't wow'ed per usual. Hope this helps and we otherwise loved out time and will definitely return!!!"

  • "If you want to enjoy farm fresh foods amidst the quiet rolling hills of Chester County, Wyebrook Farm is it!"

  • "Great setting in the country with great farm to table selections. The appetizers were great (fried green tomatoes, mushroom soup, thai cucumber salad) and the entrees were also delicious (burger, pulled pork sandwich). It's also fun to shop upstairs in the market where you can by fresh meat and local food like honey, candies jalapenos, etc. Highly recommend this BYOB restaurant."

  • "Worth the distance and the food, service, and farm is fantastic. BYOB, and a smaller menu. But, the food is fresh and the service is great! Not a sysco meal heated by a GE microwave! I repeat, NOT."

  • "I could not recommend this restaurant enough! Go, go, go, go, I mean RUN and make a reservation to eat here. The scenery is exquisite, the food comes directly from the farm (meat as well), and the flavors are outstanding (great work chef). This is how food, restaurants and service should be...creative, packed full of flavor and enchanting. Their outdoor seating overlooks 300 acres of farm land which includes a beautiful, picturesque pond, cows, and rolling hills. It is a BYOB which saves money on the bill. They have a great children's menu as well. I plan on being a regular here now. My only recommendation for the restaurant is their porch high top chairs are a bit small and uncomfortable. Overall though this is a must go to eatery!"

  • "I was so excited to tick this off the summer bucket list. Beautiful & charming place. Fun for the family, though service was slow and food not exactly kid friendly. Would prob just bring adults next time. Most meals & apps were great. I had the chicken salad which was disappointing only because there was gristle & tendons left attached. Had they taken a little time to "clean" the meat it would have been great. Will definitely try it again."

  • "I had been to the lunch many times. fair price for quality food, small but well rounded menu. this was my first dinner. disappointed in the menu. very narrow. I brought a beef eater friend who is unable to eat pork. not one beef item available. even the burger had bacon pieces in the burger. menu too narrow, portions small, prices high. I will stick to lunch. also it took one hour to get dinner. that was a long hour sitting on a picnic table bench."

  • "I took my wife here for her birthday. We had an 8pm reservation, so we got to watch the sunset as we dined. That alone was worth the trip! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing...we had no complaints. I would recommend the bacon Mac and cheese, among other things. Highly recommended."

  • "This was my second time eating at Wyebrook and they didn't disappoint. The meal was amazing and the atmosphere is like none other. It's a place where you can just relax and be happy! My husband said he'd have "a bite" if I ordered dessert because he's not a huge dessert person. He ended up scraping the bowl of our lemon lavender rice pudding creme brûlée because it was so delicious!! I can't wait for next time!"

  • "We've been to Wyebrook a few times on the weekends to hang out, listen to music and take a tour of the farm with our kids. We finally had a chance to go for a "date night" dinner and it was very good and our server was extremely nice and helpful. We went on a Thursday night, which is definitely less crowded than a Fri/Sat night, so if you can go mid-week, I'd recommend it."

  • "I am almost hesitant to recommend this wonderful place as I'm afraid that it will just get too popular! So far it's been a hidden neighborhood gem and I have been keeping it all to myself!"

  • "Went for a birthday celebration. There aren't words for how stunning the views and location are. The food is extremely imaginative combinations of flavors, making it hard to decide what to order. (I wanted to try one of everything) I wish I lived closer because I would come there all the time. The staff is beyond nice and do a wonderful job sharing information about the farm. (you can tell they really enjoy working there) Definitely go inside and check out the market, it looks like something out of a magazine. There's a really cool selection of farm and local products. This is definitely one of the most special places I've ever been."

  • "Nice atmosphere- dining at picnic tables next to a rustic old bank barn, with nice countryside to stare at. Its BYOB. Cutesy/trendy- a change of pace from an ordinary bar & grille. The food: I ordered the hamburger. When asked how I'd like it- I replied "medium." Waitress: " *Ahem* You realize of course that medium will be just a little pink inside" Yep, that's what 'medium' means; its why I gave you that answer. So, when the burger arrived...its...well done. No pink at all. On its way to being dry. It reminded me of what I'm capable of grilling at home...except I can do Medium. Oh but then Kolb Bros ground beef isn't organic/free-range/sustainable blahblahblah. Party of 8 all agreed - OK, but, zero desire to go back."

  • "If you enjoy farm-to-table restaurants, the experience does not get better than better or more literal than Wyebrook Farm. We have been to Wyebrook many times to shop their market, and enjoy their cafe menu as well as special chef dinners. This was our first visit since they've expanded their dinner menu and made it available several nights a week. We could not have been happier with the dining experience. Wyebrook is BYOB, so you can take your favorite libation to complement their spectacular food, featuring beef, chicken and pork all raised at Wyebrook. There is alway and vegetarian offering as well. You can't get more farm-to-table than that. Excellent service too. If you have not been to Wyebrook, GO!! It is not to be missed."

  • "My only regret is that it was our first time there! Everything single thing we ate was delicious with excellent flavor balance and clearly fresh. The chicken and gnocchi, and the Thai cucumber side dish were my favorite. The market was fantastic too. The honey lavender blueberry jammer biscuits are a perfect take home treat."

  • "This was our second time dining at Wyebrook Farm and it just keeps getting better! The food is always fresh and super delicious, we haven't had anything less than perfection! The staff is great, very welcoming and friendly. We love Wybrook Farm this is definitely our new favorite go-to spot for dinner!"

  • "I live across the field on my family farm and cannot express my appreciation enough for what Dean has brought to the neighborhood. I will admit that sometimes I am a little stunned at how FANCY the place is (we just are not fancy) - its like suddenly someone in your family starts wearing their Sunday clothes all week long) Wyebrook is fancy in a tasteful and appropriate way. Everyone should visit, get your meal, enjoy the view, share a table with strangers and make some new friends! If you are lucky enough to meet some locals ask them about growing up here! I've had some great meals here: having raised our own table meats and vegies I appreciate the work it takes to bring those chores to an art form, which Dean & Emelie has done."

  • "Overall excellent. Had to give 3 stars for service because it was a busy night and the family next to us who sat down prior to our arrival still didn't have their salads when our meal was served. Amazing find. Recommending to all of my foodie-friends"

  • "Wyebrook exceeded our expectations. It was a long ride from Delaware Co. but worth the trip. The hostess and servers were friendly attentive and very efficient. The view from the outdoor terrace was a classic, bucolic Brandywine Valley masterpiece with the pond, animals feeding, and purple martins flitting in and out of the busy martin condo. We had salads were FRESH and the braised beef and pork tenderloin bolognese were memorable. I only wish they had put out the soft lambswool cushions they use inside on the outdoor benches as well."

  • "This out of the way place is perfect for those who like beautiful scenery while eating great local, sustainable food. All meat is raised on property and the vegetables they get from local farms. Creative meals, appropriately sized made for a amazing find about 10 miles from our house. We are looking forward to going back to the restaurant."

  • "as always food was excellent and fresh. our server was friendly and knowledgeable. prompt with service. it was a rainy night so we ate inside. we were bummed to miss out on the outdoor dining but the barn is beautiful. it is a little awkward sharing a bench with other diners however we didn't mind. the only thing that did bother us was the lighting in there is so bright. not great for setting the mood for a romantic evening meal. the only thing I would change is just to dim the lights a tad in there."
