Diner Reviews
  • "We took a group of 6 girls age 13-14, many of whom had not experienced a restaurant like the Mansion. They loved it. The waiter made it a special experience for them. We walked around after dinner and explored. That just added to the night. All in all, a great night out."

  • "This is the second time we have enjoyed dinner at Geordie's in the Wrigley Mansion. If you have never been, it is a must do. There is a special menu when you have a groupon/dealchicken, etc., but still options and the food was very good. The server was great, took the time to have a conversation and knowledgable. We will definitely go back."

  • "We celebrated our fifth anniversary at Gordie's and they made it very special. Dining here isn't just a meal it's an experience. The mansion is beautiful with amazing views. They also have an amazing wine list where you can find a great bottle of wine that won't break the bank. Plus, the food was delightful."

  • "Son bought us a gift card so it was a special occasion. Food was excellent, portions generous. Side dishes are enough for two people; we ordered too many."

  • "The view. Service and comfort of the room was amazing., a private bathroom , terrace and room was all included. A server w a sense of humor and to say the least the food was amazing."

  • "There were 6 of us ladies who enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a lovely, historic home. The food was most excellent, service fantastic, beautiful views. Highly recommend for special ocassions."

  • "Me and my wife just celebrated our 5 year anniversary. Having two young children, we don't get out by ourselves too often. So when we do go out for a special occasion there is little room for error. Geordie's was on point. They didn't even know we were celebrating anything and still made it a memorable evening. Getting to tour the Wrigley mansion was a nice added touch. Great food, ambience and the service was top notch."

  • "While good, the food was not exciting nor imaginatively prepared. It is a good venue not being exploited to its potential."

  • "The food was fabulous and service was outstanding. Added bonuses were the views and the ability to explore the mansion. "

  • "We had a wonderful time at the mansion. We booked the Doublemint tour which included a wonderful lunch, a bottle of wine and a tour of the mansion. What we got was totally unexpected. The first course came out and was big enough to be the whole meal. The salads were fresh and were topped with a lovely shredded cheese. The breshetta I chose was also so wonderful. The main course we were served was also so good. We were so full after eating these things and then they came out with a chocolate cake to die for. All this food, wine and the tour make this place a hidden jewel on the hill with an amazing view of Phoenix. You will not be disappointed. Service was great and our guide had amazing knowledge of the mansion and made the tour fun!"

  • "Was there for my wife's 40th birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. I'm not sure what my expectations were but they totally blew us away with the food, service and ambience. From the flowers that I had ordered waiting on the table to knowing our name and the occasion we were celebrating to the food and the best service I have ever received from Mike, this was the wow factor I was going for. Don't take my word for it, go there yourself and ask for Mike and prepare to be amazed."

  • "The Mansion didn't disappoint. The views, food, setting , and casual atmosphere were all great. You could even take a respite during the food adventure by walking around the Mansion. We had the Sunday brunch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice get away in a beautiful historic place."

  • "It was a treat to look through the rooms. Wonderful rooms for private parties. Bar was cool. . Small. . But the music was a little loud in there. . Probably to filter throughout the rooms. "

  • "Our recent dinner at Geordie's was just wonderful. The ambience was fabulous and the views from the various patios were terrific. What a great way to see the city lights at night! Service was very good, and so was the food. What fun to tour the old mansion after dinner, too. "

  • "Dinner was great, server was great. We decided to have an after dinner drink on the patio outside the bar. We checked in with the bar to ask if we needed to be seated at a table and they said no, pick your seat outside. After waiting 15 minutes for service we got up and left, with only one other couple on the patio, and a quiet atmosphere inside. I read other reviews of poor service at this location. "

  • "Second time bringing a son for a special "father son" weekend. History is rich, but not in your face. Views of Phoenix are incredible. watched the sun set, great service, even to my 12 year old (thanks to Corey the bar tenderer!) just over all wonderful and NOT crazy expensive. "

  • "I took my husband out for his Birthday. I was VERY impressed with the food, our waiter was amazing, and the mansion itself was incredibly beautiful. I like that they allow you to just walk around and explore the whole house with no pressure. Every time we went back to our seats, there was more food. It was just a great experience and I would highly recomend it to anyone."

  • "I love this restaurant for brunch. We decided this would be a great place to celebrate Mothers Day. The food didn't disappoint, it was fantastic. I was however disappointed with where we were seated. I made my reservation through Open Table about a month out. When we arrived for our seating at 10 am (there were three of us) we were ushered upstairs to a remote room. I couldn't believe it. We were seated in a corner at a tiny round table set for three. I had to sit with my back to the rest of the room and face a wall. There were other open tables in this small space the entire time we were there. We had to go up and down the stairs every time we wanted to return to the buffet. Not what I expected, a true disappointment."

  • "Four of us attended lunch, followed by a tour of the mansion. Ryan was our server and he was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a lovely birthday celebration for our daughter and thoroughly enjoyed our day. "

  • "The menu was boring. The soup turned out to be a gluey mess. It was very expensive and not tasty. I would go on the tour and eat somewhere else. Great tour guide. Service was good."

  • "My 2 guests had a mixed seafood dish which they enjoyed i tried the rack of lamb which was overcooked and, in fact, leftover? "

  • "I took my Mom for her birthday, we had a lovely champagne lunch with the greatest view in town. The food was excellent as was the champagne. The waiters were top notch and the tour ended our visit splendidly. The history in the mansion is fascinating. I would recommend this spot to anyone and plan to go more often."

  • "Did not particularly enjoy lunch experience, food is extremely overpriced. Although I would say the food is rather eccentric, so if you enjoy that kind of food then it could possibly be a good experience. We mainly came for the tour which we did enjoy. So I would recommend going for the tour there is a good story and history about the house. Leave the food alone...."

  • "My son and I had Brunch on Sunday, as a wine member, I have dined several times. This by far was the most disappointing. The crab legs were water saturated and tasteless. The breakfast bar, omelet and pancake station was superb. Everything else was mediocre. I love the ambience and the views, usually the wait staff is fabulous, but, not last Sunday.. a total lack of personality and warmth. We ordered a bottle of wine and then liquors, which we asked to sit on the Veranda, we felt like it was an imposition and were told several times it was time to leave. With an almost $300.00 bill for lunch, one would expect to feel welcome. I will be back, because it is such a lovely place, however, probably stick to drinks and an appetizer "

  • "The Wrigley Mansion is so well maintained and just perfect for brunch, or any meal quite frankly. The ambience is fantastic and the service is always warm and friendly. I have been taking out-of-town family members there for years. Great job!"

  • "I really enjoyed the food, although I was hoping for a little more variety. Would have enjoyed roast turkey or other poultry at the carving station. Everything I tasted was excellent, and it had a fair amount of gluten-free options for one in my party. Cannot beat the views and atmosphere; all servers, valets, chefs, and host were very friendly and helpful, although I did have to flag down someone to get my check. Will definitely be back, and would recommend for a special occasion brunch."

  • "We truly enjoyed the halibut and steak, which were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was perfect for a client meeting and tour of the mansion. All three of us in our party were delighted to dine and enjoy the atmosphere. The wait staff gave us great privacy during our evening."

  • "I brought my sister for brunch on April 27. The food was delicious, very well prepared and warm. The chefs were polite and answered any questions we might have. I even had a conversation with one of them about the cool surface hot plates he was using and that I had seen on TV. The wait staff was very accommodating. They were able to answer our questions about walking through the mansion after we ate and even advised us that each room had a photograph of what the room was used for originally and what it looked like. The photographs of friends and family of the Wrigley's was particularly interesting. One of the things that was particularly refreshing was that we arrived on time and were seated almost immediately upon our arrival. Great!"

  • "The atmosphere is lovely and fun. A beautiful historic mansion. The food, however, is bland, dull, uninspired. Mediocre at best. Service was simply odd. At first, we were ignored in favor of another table (only 2 tables occupied in the room) of obvious big alcohol/wine spenders who came in after we did. We had to grab the waiter for water, again for butter. Then, the waiter became attentive but overly familiar. He kept tapping and patting us on the shoulder. I noticed he did that at the other table also, but not as much. It was startling and annoying. Overall, I would say it was unprofessional and as much as I like the venue, the food and service make it a "thumbs down" for me. "

  • "Not As many choices as I would have expected for $50 brunch. Told no oyster on half shell yet showed up We were leaving. Only mirmosa yet on line listed beer, wines unlimited. Ran out of many desserts 30 min before brunch ended."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary (in part) at this elegant restaurant. We availed ourselves of a Deal Chicken voucher. Dinner and one cocktail each still came to more than $120.00 - voucher and additional cost combined. The voucher said that we were getting a $120 three course dinner for two (for $59). We were offered a limited menu consisting of a choice of three appetizers, two salads or soup and five entrees. All servings, pre-entree and entree, were sumptuous, delicious and nicely presented, as were our cocktails. . Service was competent, attentive and very professional. The dining room was immaculate and very attractive. And the view from the mansion was superb."
