The best thing about the Queen is the music. The food and service are nice and tasteful complements to be sure. Together they make the Queen an important anchor for Delaware's musicians and artists.

From my first exchange with dining manager, seating was an issue. Reservations made 9/11/14 not quickly found. Table then offered at edge of stage in traffic flow of musicians who were setting up/sound check. Sound check not the problem Other tables unoccupied back from stage but manager emphatic not available to us. Same tables still open when we went to balcony for seats for mainstage show. Seats assigned were to hightop chairs at ledge table where my wife could not see over the table to view stage. Same dining manager took position nothing could be done until I requested refund of tickets and was told she couldn't handle that either. Alternative seats then found. Overall a poor rating for entire Queen experience. Food was mediocre

Great angus burger...one of the best burgers I've experienced EVER. Ordered a Manhattan as a cocktail. Was made with an orange floating in it and a lime on the rim and was made with soda water. Pretty strange. Bartender might have to go back to school.

If you're familiar with WCL Phila , you'll know what to expect .the menu's very similar , if not identical .A nice mix of light fare and entrees , all tasty . Goes great with the music on the centrally located stage . Portions are modest.Wine 's a tad dear-$9 for a half-filled glass . If you're there for the music primarily, make sure you ask what time the kitchen closes .The Hostess makes you feel welcome . The servers are efficient , though can be a tad harried depending on the size of the crowd. They DO hustle and are pretty readily available .

Our server made sure we had enough time to enjoy our dinner with drinks, and cash out in time for our show. He was attentive and courteous, nice menu with great options, food was very tasty, comfortable & lively atmosphere, you could feel the energy in the room. It is always a wonderful night at The Queen.

I have attended this venue several times for the music performances. For this reason the atmosphere is great. You can see and hear well from anywhere. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. I had a cheese steak wrap and there was hardly any cheese on it and the flavor was non existent. A friend had the fish tacos. The meat was watered down as if thawed in water just a short time before hand. Again they were flavorless and the texture was poor. The service was a little slow as well.

We like to stop in to eat before shows we are seeing. This is the first time I've been disappointed, the food was excellent (upstairs café), and we enjoyed BBVD (great show). Our server seemed to disappear for long periods at a time (very disappointing), I'm hoping this was a one time thing.

I have dined at WCL Wilmington many times. The happy hour from 4-7 PM was always a draw for me. This past week, I checked the website for the restaurant and saw that the happy hours were still the same; however, when I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that happy hours now end at 6 PM. BUMMER! Our waitress was so inexperienced that I thought she was 14 years of age. The menu was pallid and the food blah. What happened?

Food and service acceptable. I came for dinner before concert (Allman Brothers tribute) because I would not not guaranteed a seat without eating first While dinner and service acceptable Music WAY WAY too loud and distorted . Wife and I eagerly left before half over. Disappointed and ears hurt. My hearing is normal and not unusually sensitive. Also this survey multiple choice options are biased in way phrased. No choice for would not recommend . Noise level choice is "quiet, moderate, energetic or cant recall. Why not an "excessive" choice ?

Best place in Wilmington hands down! From the awesome food and service to the venues professional sound and stage you really get a warm and genuine experience. The staff was happy which made us feel more at home and parking was a breeze. Free street parking after five and a parking garage next door for $5 all night. I love the building and the location. I drove from PA and Wilmington was silent except for the Queen. Not much going on as I was driving through. It was noisy but energetic. The musicians were glad to be there and put on a good show. You can not control what they sing and one singer sang about sexual abuse and I saw a dad take his two children outside. But the music overall was good. I had dinner and Malbec, and thought the food was good. The wings could have used a little more flavor, I order salmon and had to send it back and ordered something else and it was replaced with no problem. I had duck instead and it was delicious. Most folks attending seemed to enjoy their food. I will attend again because Wilmington needs this type of venue.

Had reservations for dinner & tickets for the Beatles show. We didn't expect the food to be as fabulous as it turned out. We had a little of everything, hummus, guacamole, pizza, fried eggplant, sweet potato fries. but the one thing we almost didn't get was the grilled cheese sandwich special. Apparently it changes every week. It had chicken inside & other goodies. It was to die for!!! Amazing. Great service & an amazing Show with Sweet Loretta Fat group singing the Beatles. Would definitely go again.

We were immediately seated thanks to our reservation but we waited approximately 21 minutes just to get a drink order. We also saw other people get up and leave because the wait was too long. We decided to stay and the service slightly improved and there was a live bank playing the Allman Brothers tunes and they were excellent. The food was excellent and we may try to visit again, hoping that maybe we caught them on an understaffed night.

I have been to this location several times. It's my fave local place to see music acts and others, the food is usually pretty good too. On this visit, the shrimp and pasta was great, the white pizza was mediocre. The hummus and veggie plate was very good as usual. We had a trainee waiter so services was a little lacking compared to past visits, but that's understandable and okay. I guess the biggest complaint would be that our appetizer came out at the same time as our main dishes, but the waiter apologized ahead of time and let us know that was going to occur. I still love this place and hope that enough people go so that it stays open!

It had lighter options. We ordered from the weekly specials and enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is very nice. The bands that played were great! $12 for two very enjoyable, talented bands were a steal! Best night out for my husband and I in quite a while.
