  • "As our hopes where demolished because no one told us the main restraunt was closed so there was only bar food so that sucked I wished the restaurant would have let their customers know this on your web site and not take reservation for that day we will only come back if there is a complementary meal to make up for the screw up for that day all though the bar employee tried it was not what we expected as advertise in the local papers next time if you can not provide the proper service at least. Notify your patron"

  • "The dining room was closed so we dined in the bar. The service and food was outstanding as always; definitely never a let down and always a pleasure to go back!"

  • "Our dinner celebrating a friend's birthday was excellent. Three of us had the prime rib, which was tender and full of flavor. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. A relaxing and enjoyable meal."

  • "My wife and I took her mother and father to lunch for mom's birthday. We had previously taken dad here and this is where they chose to go again. They each ordered the sirloin steak, which they said was delicious. Sadly, they both order steak medium-well, so no telling how tender it might have been. My wife had the soup and salad bar and raved about the soup and the salad bar selections. I had the watermelon salad with Diablo chicken. The salad was wonderful, with a remarkable dressing (and very lightly dressed, at that). The Diablo chicken was a grilled chicken breast with spicy seasonings. It was juicy and tender, and the spice component was somewhat hot and very flavorful - just the way I like it."

  • "One of the best restaurants in the metro area (hidden away behind the Embassy Suites). Always outstanding. all meals here have been very, very good. I'm always impressed with the specials as well as the menu. We were here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had reservations for later in the evening and stopped in to have an appetizer and drinks at their bar before dinner. Great beer selection as well as Happy Hour specials. Dinner was great and the service wonderful. We have been here before for dinner, lunch as well as their special Craft Beer dinners. We enjoy the friendliness of staff, quality of food, and presentation."

  • "Everything was great! Our waiter had 2 boys so was very understanding when our little guy couldn't sit. We've never had a bad time at Woolley's."

  • "We had a nice experience at Woolleys. Nice food, nice atmosphere, service was ok. It was pleasant enough, but nothing to write home about. I probably wouldn't proactively recommend it to a friend, but if I was asked if it was a good place to go, I wouldn't say not to go there."

  • "Highly reccommended, but a dissapointing evening. Went for a Birthday celebration and the food was good, not great. Service was friendly but slow and to top it off, we sat 45 minutes waiting to pay the bill without even water. The credit card system was not working correctly and we ended up having to use the ATM. Probably won't be back. "

  • "Food and service were very good. Will go back for that. Setting next to noisy atrium is bad idea, however. It should be walled off, at least with thick glass (ex: Tavern on the Green, NYC). Also, salad bar was OK, but $15 too steep for what they offered. Won't do that again. "

  • "Woolley's is always a fantastic dining experience. The food is always cooked to perfection. The service is always top-notch/above-and-beyond what I experience ANYWHERE else, and this time was definitely not an exception. My wife and I were dining for our anniversary and Woolley's really rolled out the red carpet for us! We were treated to some sparkling wine from their extensive list of over 200 available bottles and at the end of our wonderful meal, we were treated AGAIN to a delicious cake to help us celebrate together even more. Obviously we will be returning for future events and I believe that a new anniversary tradition was born for us too :-)"

  • "No cocktail onions after waiting too long. Both pork and walleye was over cooked. The consideration was appreciated ,but it gives us the feeling never to return."

  • "We had Easter Brunch. After being seated by a hostess who tried to get us to walk in front of her (how would we know where they wanted to seat us?) we sat for 10 minutes without any service. Flagged down a server and asked about getting drinks. 5 minutes later a server took our drink order. Salad was soggy from being made the night before. The freshness and quality of most of the brunch items was mediocre at best, comparable to Old Country Buffet. Seating was worn banquet chairs with foam showing through places where the vinyl was torn and coffee was served with a quarter teaspoon of grounds in the bottom. For this quality of food and service Old Country Buffet would be a better choice; for this price Manny's is far far superior."

  • "There were a great selection of seafood, meat, salads, appetizers and desserts. A good variety too! The quality is not what I was expecting for the price we paid. It was fun to try but I don't think we'll be coming back. Maybe we will try the restaurant menu someday. Overall, it was fun for Mother's day and the kids were thrilled with the dessert table and the chocolate fondue."

  • "This was our 3rd year going to Woolley's for Mothers day brunch. Food and service are excellent! They never seem to have my Opentable reservation on hand when I get there, which seems kind of strange, but, they were still able to seat us and everything was great."

  • "The place is pleasant, but there are a lot of people on holidays and special occasions. The food is much better than many brunches. "

  • "The word could be crumbling as we speak and our 9 year-old would not mind as he has seen his Holy Grail, a chocolate fountain. We visited Woolley's based on researching through OpenTable which has never let us down. That streak continued with a fabulous Brunch for Mother's day where Mum had some excellent Filet Mignon and I had Oysters not to mention the amazing selection of meats, vegetable, breakfast foods, desserts and fruits. This was a great opportunity to try some of those things you are not sure of, for me Seared Tuna and the 9 year-old Oysters, booth successful. We will be back."

  • "Unbelievable buffet this past weekend for our Mother's Day outing. Carved Filet Mignon was perfectly done. Everything was fresh and hot and plentiful. The desserts could have been better labeled. Overall, a rousing success! We will be back..."

  • "We always enjoy the excellent food and service we receive at Woolley's. This is one of our favorite restaurants when we wish to be pampered!"

  • "There was a group of 10 of us for Sunday brunch. It took a very long time just go put our orders in. It then took 40 minutes to receive our meals, exept for two of us who had to wait another 20 minutes after that! The server offered no apologies. The table of 8 received their orders before we did, even though they arrived a half hour after we did. We liked the ambience and the food is generally pretty good. I planned to host our bi-weekly Sunday brunch at this location again in the future, but after this particular Sunday, I canceled future reservations."

  • "The noise was very loud do to a wedding party close to our area of dining. Later on after they left, the restaurant became more of what we had hoped it would be. The setting next to the water and the plants in the atrium made for a very pleasant evening. The food and its presentation was outstanding. Our waitress Grandma D was a sweet addition to our evening. "

  • "This restaurant has a lovely setting. Dining amidst the many plants was refreshing on a blustery, cold day. Beef stroganoff was OK. Beef was very tender, sauce a bit bland, noodles looked dried out. Walleye sandwich was beautiful with a tasty sauce. Our waitress seemed to be disorganized, though very pleasant. Probably just lack of experience. All staff are very pleasant. We felt welcome and appreciated. Will go again."

  • "The Easter brunch was a bit crowded resulting in a few bottlenecks. All of the food was excellent. Huge variety of foods to choose from for all ages and tastes. The waiters were very attentive. Given the large crowd, was pretty well organized. The carving station briefly ran out of prime. Will definitely try this place again but will avoid going during a holiday. In our party of eight people, I would say that the brunch was enjoyed by all. We arrived at 11:15 AM and left by 1 PM. This appeared to be a high volume time frame. Would suggest an earlier time if you want to avoid the crowd. The price of approximately $39.00 per person was a little on the high end. Was worth the price given the wide selection of great tasting food. "

  • "Presentation and accessibility of food items was excellent. Ice sculptures were beautiful and very fitting to the occasion. Wait staff was very friendly and prompt to all all requests. Will definitely return for other special occasions. Easter Bunny was great!"

  • "The only thing missing was an ice sculpture or two. The food layout was lovely. Much fresh seafood including oysters and ahi tuna. Everything was delicious. There must of been 6 or 7 large stations with different categories of food. The young ones loved the chocolate fountain. Peeps and jelly beans galore. Desserts were beautiful to look at and the carrot cake the best I've ever had. Service excellent. Make reservations early-this year they were fully booked on Easter Day. Would definitely return."

  • "We had a wonderful time at Woolley's Easter Brunch. Ambiance in the Atrium was perfect for this special occasion, complete with a jazz trio. Food was amazing, many selections, and more new items added to the menu this year (lamb, Ahi tuna, etc). We get a kick out of the Peeps at the chocolate fountain! This is one of the few endless champagne brunches left in town. Price is right for all that is included. Staff from start to finish was terrific; this is a well-organized, well-executed event. Everyone on Woolley's service team is empowered to assist diners in any way necessary, very "customer-centric". Our expectations were exceeded. We'll be back next year!"

  • "Wooleys is a favorite for lunch. Atmosphere is so relaxing, staff the best, and the cooks amazing. I love the homemade soups, salad bar and what a treat to receive the yummy chocolate birthday cake too!"

  • "Food was excellent, service was very good. Kind of noisey as it is in the open of hotel atrium. Atmosphere is ok but the food and service made up for it."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "My wife and I enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. But as for us getting greeted from the host it was poor. Also it was not bizzey there at all and our waitress was very difficult to find and get service. We felt that the service was very poor for the high cost of our experience."
