Sunday brunch for 4 with a reservation - had to wait about 10 minutes for a table - strike one. For some reason, it took over an hour to be served. That's OK, except other tables nearby were seated later and served earlier - strike two. Of our four dishes, one was great (oysters and eggs), one was disappointing (scallop roll), and two were fine - strike three. Because we complained about the wait, we were comped four ice cream boules - nice touch.

After waiting years, we finally made it to Woodberry Kitchen for Sunday brunch. Sat outside on the patio- lovely day, which is good because the service was appalling. After putting in our order, we waited exactly ONE hour to get our meal. The waiter never came back to see how we were or whether we needed anything. I finally asked about the order. After checking, he said they were starting to plate the food. TWENTY minutes later, we were served. We didn't order anything strange- French toast, omelet and egg salad. Really? The waiter was about the worst we have ever had. The food was fine- but definitely nothing extraordinary at all. Not worth the drive or the ridiculous prices. $16 for French toast? come on.

Great place for a date! I'm not sure if I will ever bring my kids to this place, but a good spot for my husband and I to reconnect and enjoy some amazing food. Very bohemian and relaxed atmosphere...great cuisine without the stuffiness of restaurants of similar quality.

My son will be graduating Loyola in May.. We had heard about your restaurant, but could never get in. Finally, last April, our family was in Baltimore for the Easter Weekend. We ate at your restaurant and fell in love with everything. A few weeks ago , I moved my son in for his Senior Year and we had dinner here. It was amazing. Then on Saturday, we were back in town for Parent's Weekend and ate here for brunch. Food was outstanding. Gluten Free Menu is amazing .. In addition, I found out about Artifact Coffee.. Another gem that I wish I would have found in the fall of 2011.. Awesome coffee!

I rarely eat really really frieking good food so even though I was expecting it my taste buds just weren't prepared for my breakfast enchilada. Free valet service. Best to arrive early for brunch because it gets busy around noon. Inside, outside, or upstairs the ambience is wonderful. Be sure to take-in the urban revitalization of the surrounding the building.

This was our second trip to Woodberry--the first being a breakfast visit last spring. In both visits I was again astounded at how everything exploded with flavor. Absolutely nothing on the plate goes to waste. Things that are often "throw away" items or "filler"--even at other good restaurants-- (garnishes, vegetables, sides) absolutely everything is bursting with freshness and flavorful. Thumbs up so high as to produce hand-cramps!

I found this place on Urbanspoon and I had a really great time dining there. I took my girlfriend for a special night out and it lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was wonderful; we sat outside and the decorations were very pleasant. Our waiter was professional and on top of his game. I never had to ask for refills and he was always courteous when talking to us. We had the chicken and biscuit dish and the steak dish and both were excellent. A little pricey at ~$30/plate, but that's just my two cents. My only gripe was that we went on a Tuesday evening around 6 PM and the place was not very packed. Well, by the time 7 PM rolled around, it was packed! Our main dishes took almost an hour to come out, on a Tuesday night! Highly recommended.

Our team has been staying in Baltimore the past few months, and Woodberry Kitchen had been high on our list since we received a recommendation from a coworker. A bit tough to get in, especially with a decent sized group, but we were able to get a group of 8 in fairly late on a Monday. The wait was completely worth it. The restaurant exceeded our very high expectations in every way. The cocktails were delicious and refreshing, and the wine we ordered paired well with the food. The flatbreads we ordered were great, and each entree was well received. It was a great night for a drink at the fireplace, and appreciated the staff letting us linger a bit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait to come back before our time in Baltimore is up.

Woodberry exceeded our culinary expectations and the outdoor patio was well worth the wait. My wife and I opted for small plates over supper, 3 each, which was plenty of food and all of our dishes were fantastic. It seems you simply can't go wrong with the menu. I have eaten at much fancier places with cuisine that doesn't come close. The only thing I would say was a trivial blemish on an otherwise spectacular dinner is that our server seemed disinterested especially when we asked for recommendations. My wife and I had never been before and we're not overly sensitive but their seemed to be some internal eye rolling when we were enthusiastic about menu items. There was an air of "holier-than-thou" entitled college kid with a part-time job.

We went for our anniversary and fell in love with Woodberry. The outdoor firepit was a great stop and the overall design is so unique. We had the hand-stretched mozzarella and it was amazing. Also had the steak tar tar--I was hesitant, but it was delicious. Husband got the duck--wonderful. And i got the soft shell crabs. Very tasty, but served on a super think white bread that I thought took away from the flavor. The staff was uber friendly. We asked for wine parings and got two very nice choices. Mentioned in passing that it was our anniversary and at dessert, the dish had a chocolate Happy Anniversary! on it Would go again in a flash--but be prepared to drop some cash or drink less!

Perfectly roasted garlic with jam and toast points started us off. From there we moved to a huge lump crabcake with the most amazing roasted corn I've ever had, to pepper flatbread and delicious wilted greens. We finished it off with perfectly baked peach cobbler. What makes Woodberry stand out, in addition to the perfection of the food of course, is their staff. Each person you see and talk to is friendly, real, knowledgeable and welcoming. They are the reason I keep going back.

We've been to Woodberry 6 or 7 times, each time less enjoyable than the last. Our most recent trip theresealed the deal and we won't be returning. Once upon a time, the whole rustic, farm-to-table vibe was fresh and original, but these days it's what every new restaurant in the city is doing and without any notable changes in many years, it has made Woodberry feel tired and worn out, making their only saving grace - $12 cocktails - no longer worth it. When you've been there before, it's exhausting having our waitress explain every time we order something - first drinks, then snacks, then dinner - that "we make this in house, and get that locally." Spend less time selling the tired theme and more on bringing back the quality of the food.

First visit to this place. Too wife there for 22nd wedding anniversary dinner. Food served was very tasty and fresh, but portions were not large at all. Started with Deviled Eggs, then a salad, then our main course. She got a crab meal over dumplings and I got steak. Were still hungry after that, so got desert. The deserts were fantastic. Total bill was $132 for 2 people. This is a once a year type of place for me, if that.

Food was overally salty, service, was odd, although our waitress was attentive, the food took FOREVER to get to us, the meal was too long, 2.5 hours, and we really didn't eat that much. Not sure what the issue was, but that night it wasn't good.
