Wood & VinePerfect place to eat before PantageThis restaurant is right across the street from the Pantages. We ate there Friday night before the show. The service was friendly and attentive. They have a tapas style of service which is a little strange when ordering something like the delicious lamb burger, and make a point of telling you that the dishes will come out as served, not all together. If that's okay and your guests are willing to share, this is a great place to eat. The food was excellent. We had salads, chicken wings, mussels, soft shell crab, risotto balls, and everything, especially the lamb burger, was excellent. Varied menu with limited choices but anyone can find something to their taste. Opening of 5:30 pm necessitated going elsewhere for a drink following the theatre performance but good bar choices are in the area. We popped in after seeing a show at the Pantages and this place was hopping. Hip, cool crowd, good service and great food. They make a gourmet chicken and waffle dish which is to die for.
