A word from Wolf's Ridge Brewing
Wolf's Ridge Brewing is a family owned and operated craft brewery and restaurant, created as a result of our long and deepening love for both craft beer and food. Wolf's Ridge Brewing was born through the deep desire of the owners to create a gathering space for other craft beer and food lovers in the downtown Columbus community. Our goal is to build a microbrewery and restaurant that becomes a proud member of the community, where we provide our patrons with a wonderful dining and drinking experience.

The concept is centered on the idea that by focusing on craft and locally sourced products as much as possible, we are staying true to our primary goal of supporting and emulating the community in which we reside.

Been at Wolf's Ridge Brewing twice at dinner service and the food have been excellent, the wait is short and the staff are very friendly and service minded. They have a good 'made on site' draft beer selection (10+) as well as other beer and wine options. I would recommend anyone to go there and I would almost guarantee a very good time. Make sure to book a table if you arrive after 7 pm. Oh, and order the Rib-eye. Don't ask questions. Just get it.

We have eaten here a few times. The menu is creative, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is consistently good. I really enjoy their cocktails. The Seasonal is perfect for fall! The service is excellent and has been consistent each time we have dined here. We appreciate the consistently good experience and will be back!

  • the worst dining experience ever...
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 11/15/2014
After reading wonderful reviews, we decided to try Wolf's Ridge Brewery. The service was absolutely terrible; we reserved, and confirmed, that we would be at a private table (instead of the community table). Upon arriving were told that "it was not noted in our reservation." That was just the beginning; we each ordered a glass of wine and it took 20 minutes to arrive. Finally, after 10 more minutes the server took our order. We started with the cheese plate and the charcuterie appetizer; the later described on the menu as the "chef's selection of meats." We were served three small slices of pate-type items, including a gelatinous "head cheese," which the server described as being "made from boiling-down pieces and parts of a pig's head." I am not joking, that is an exact quote. The cheese plate was equally disappointing. After waiting for another 15 minutes without seeing our server, we asked for our check and left, something we have never done before.

My parents, my boyfriend, and I all came to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. It was the first time here for all of us and we all loved it! We just decided to split several different items and everything was delicious and unique. The drinks were great. Service was wonderful. Definitely coming back sometime.

I took my husband here for his birthday along with an other couple. My husband likes his beer and he was very please with the micro brews they offered. I'm a foodie and the food here is very good. All four of us had something different so we could share and every dish was delicious. Our bartender Justin was very knowledgeable about the beers and fun to chat with while we waited for our table. The wait staff was also great and friendly. We had a reservation but went early to try the brews and were seated on time. I would highly recommend you try it.

Most breweries focus on the beer and the food tends to be nachos and burgers. Not here, the food is absolutely top notch. I had a great shrimp and grits 'small dish' as well as the special, salmon burgers. On another night, I had the mussels, largest, meatiest mussels I've ever had! All were superb. I'm sure their burgers are equally good.

The question I asked myself after I took the first bite of my brunch was why did I wait so long? I have heard about this place for a while but never seemed to be able to make it out there and once I did I am hooked. Everything the table got was amazing from the pumpkin donut holes, entrees to the drinks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asks.

We had cheese and radish appetizers. Both were very good, particularly the three different radishes served with a creamy-salty butter dip. Fennel and kale salads were both nice with unique blends of favors. Jambalaya was generous and full-flavored. Sides of root vegetables and sautéed mushrooms were ok. Menu is better suited for meat lovers. Prices were a bit high.

I've been to Wolf Ridge a handful of times since it has opened and it is fantastic. The food, beer, decor, and staff have all been top notch. Two of the best meals I've had in the past year have been at Wolf Ridge and I always recommend it when people are looking to try new places. The beer is some of the best out of a new Columbus brewery, I am yet to try a beer of their I don't like.

Wanted to try Wolfs Ridge for dinner before seeing a show at the Ohio Theater. The atmosphere is trendy, we had our own four person table but a lot of the seating is long tables that seat more then one party, If you want more privacy be sure to request a private table. Overall the food is good. The glazed salmon was excellent but small portion. The steak was a large cut but a little too salty for our tastes. The burger and garlic fries was also very good. The desserts were the highlight of the meal- apple pie, poached pear and baked Alaska all excellent. Overall, portions a bit small for price, but it was very good. No one was in the mood for beer so we didn't have a chance to sample their beers.

Started with a beer flight which was great and a cheese plate. It looked a little skimpy at first but was just right. Then had the chicken and waffles which we split, (there was plenty). And it was outstanding. It was REALLY loud though, if this bothers you, not a good place. Service was great also. I have already recommended to family and friends. Nice job!!!

Went to Wolf's Ridge Brewing for our 8th anniversary dinner. I had gone for lunch once previously, but it was my wife's first time. It was a rainy Tuesday night, but they were still moderately busy throughout the evening. They unveiled a special seasonal menu the previous week. Their menu is not large, but it has a variety of entrée options. I ordered the jambalaya - it was very good and fairly spicy. I also got a flight of 5 different of their beers, of which they had about 12 on tap. They have a large variety, so a flight is worth trying a few. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles. She was a little skeptical at first, but it turned out very well and she enjoyed it thoroughly. We will definitely return again.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at WRB, and we were very pleased with the experience. The food was great (I recommend the duck breast!), as were the drinks. If you are in doubt of what to get, try the beer sampler - great value and variety. The staff accommodated two extra people to our group (pushing us to 14), let us split checks rather than forcing one, and refrigerated a cake [we brought in] while we ate. Tiffany really took care of us. We've heard good things about brunch so we'll be back!
