A word from Wolf's Ridge Brewing
Wolf's Ridge Brewing is a family owned and operated craft brewery and restaurant, created as a result of our long and deepening love for both craft beer and food. Wolf's Ridge Brewing was born through the deep desire of the owners to create a gathering space for other craft beer and food lovers in the downtown Columbus community. Our goal is to build a microbrewery and restaurant that becomes a proud member of the community, where we provide our patrons with a wonderful dining and drinking experience.

The concept is centered on the idea that by focusing on craft and locally sourced products as much as possible, we are staying true to our primary goal of supporting and emulating the community in which we reside.

Been here maybe a dozen times. Overall, consistently, the best food in Columbus. Start to finish. They hit on all cylinders in every aspect of the meal. Kale salad was delicious. Ribeye was amazingly tender and flavorful. Apple pie was innovative and spectacularly flavorful. Great cocktails. Great beer. I'll be back soon!

Started with a beer flight which was great and a cheese plate. It looked a little skimpy at first but was just right. Then had the chicken and waffles which we split, (there was plenty). And it was outstanding. It was REALLY loud though, if this bothers you, not a good place. Service was great also. I have already recommended to family and friends. Nice job!!!

  • Anniversary Dinner at Wolf's Ridge

Went to Wolf's Ridge Brewing for our 8th anniversary dinner. I had gone for lunch once previously, but it was my wife's first time. It was a rainy Tuesday night, but they were still moderately busy throughout the evening. They unveiled a special seasonal menu the previous week. Their menu is not large, but it has a variety of entrée options. I ordered the jambalaya - it was very good and fairly spicy. I also got a flight of 5 different of their beers, of which they had about 12 on tap. They have a large variety, so a flight is worth trying a few. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles. She was a little skeptical at first, but it turned out very well and she enjoyed it thoroughly. We will definitely return again.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at WRB, and we were very pleased with the experience. The food was great (I recommend the duck breast!), as were the drinks. If you are in doubt of what to get, try the beer sampler - great value and variety. The staff accommodated two extra people to our group (pushing us to 14), let us split checks rather than forcing one, and refrigerated a cake [we brought in] while we ate. Tiffany really took care of us. We've heard good things about brunch so we'll be back!

This was our second visit to Wolf's Ridge, and it is quickly becoming our go-to spot for celebrations and special occasions. The beer was good--my husband commented that Downtown was the most flavorful brown ale he's had and I loved the Ultraviolet. We are looking forward to the cooler weather beers and ales! Our entrees were beautifully presented (my husband was particularly impressed with the presentation of the blackened tofu!) and delicious to boot. There are few entrees for vegetarians (our only complaint)--but we eat fish too, and there were several to choose from--the sole is excellent. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The whole evening was memorable! We'll be back.

Wolf's Ridge really hits a number of notes very well. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and fast, the atmosphere is sociable, but not loud, the decor is nice, and the beers are great. For the quality of food you get, the prices are good. All in all, it was excellent and I look forward to going back.

We brought an out of town guest on a Tuesday night. The food was really good, I had the sole which was perfect (although it will be leaving the menu in a few weeks when the fall menu arrives.) Not being beer drinkers, the wines are kind of interesting but good. The ONLY complaint is the noise. Communal tables are ok, but a large group behind us was so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation. They did seem to have been drinking a lot. So it made the vibe more Hofbrauhous than vibrant NYC restaurant. But again, my sole was 'perfect' and the habanero cheesecake was amazing.

Brunch was nice. Food came to the table too fast. (3 minutes after drinks were served) French toast was very good, but was luke warm, then after ice cream was added on top, it was cold. It was obvious the french toast was not made to order. Beermosa was excellent!

Wolfs Ridge makes a strong case for a destination brunch. The menu is somewhat eclectic and the execution is outstanding. Everyone in your party can find something to suit them from the adventurous to the more staid. Brunch options range from eggs and toast to duck confit. The kitchen keeps things moving nicely, which is good for early day dining but there is no rushing either.

My wife and I had heard great things about this place and we were not disappointed with the quality of the food nor the service. The place was packed and using Open Table assured us of getting in. No valet, but with several lots in the area parking was cheap at only $3.00. The muscles were great as was the glazed salmon special. We shared the special and the chef split it on to two plates so the presentation was great. Nice touch. BUT.... The restaurant was WAY to loud. It is a big room with lots of people. We won't be back since we had to almost yell to be heard while sitting across the table from each other. We spoke with others leaving at the same time (outside, once we could hear) and shared a similar thought.

The menu is nicely varied but slightly limited but the place is so damn noisy that it diminishes the quality of the food. Great for a bar with excellent food but lousy for a restaurant trying to sell any kind of overall experience. Some of the hard surfaces could be treated to make it more tolerable.

First the positives: we were seated at the time of our reservation, the waitress was very attentive, and some of the food was tasty. The negatives: some of the food was bland (sole, radish appetizer) and very salty (potatoes). Surprisingly, the variety of beer available was limited (only one dark beer). Also, the restaurant was very loud and crowded. The bar area is small and guests who were waiting for their table were actually pushing into the backs of our chairs. Bottom line: not returning

My husband and I enjoyed an overnight get away to end the summer in Columbus. We choose Wolf's Ridge out of the overwhelming amount of places to have supper. The menu was different from most and was off the beaten path. We arrived a little early for our reservation but was seated quickly, the restaurant was busy, was a little loud, so if you want romantic, quiet this is not the place. The wait staff was at our table promptly. Drinks ordered and time to let us look over the menu, she told us of the specials. We had the cheese plate for a starter, which was wonderful. My hubsand had the steak and he said it was the best he has ever had, tender and prepped just right. I had the duck breast, also perfect. The chocolate cake was a perfect end!

The food at Wolf's Ridge is quite delicious. I also like the space but its NOISY. They could seriously use some canvas art work on the wall or some egg crate under their chairs/tables to absorb some of the sound bouncing of all their shiny and polished surfaces. It really is hard to have a conversation when they are busy. Sound aside, highly recommended.

The service was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was absolutely the delicious. By far the best duck I have ever had. But lets talk about the beer. There are other brew pubs in Columbus, but this is one of the best. The selection is impressive, and of the ten different beers we sampled not a single one was disappointing. Look out Elevator, these guys know what they are doing.
