Wolfgang's Steakhouse - TribecaVery nice foodHad a fantastic steak both times I've been there! Salads and german potatoes went along really well too.. Definitely recommend it.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steakWe took our son here for HS graduation. He said it's the best meal of his life. I believe it is better than Lugars. Service was great. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steak in Manhattan!Great food with an attentive and well-trained staff. Perfect steak house decor.
I highly recommend this great restaurant in a totally cool neighborhood.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMStill the best steakhouse in NYCHad a quick dinner here, nice to be able to get seated on relatively short notice. Decided to eat at the bar and had great full service from the bartender. Look, the menu is simple but the food is outstanding. Don't think too hard. Have some oysters, wine, and steak for as many people as are in your party. Creamed spinach always a winner. Asked for the Wolfgang's steak sauce, the bartender suggested we try it without it, and even though I've eaten here lots of times before, I have to admit, he's right, the steak is just freakin' delicious on its own. Looking for the best steakhouse in the city? Simple. Wolfgang's.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Steak so far...This Steak for 2 was amongst the best I have ever had! Cooked to perfection and an unbeatable taste! Great sides, good wine, very nice and friendly service!
I was there with my family from Germany and everybody was treated really nice. They have acouple of European waitors5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food and serviceWe had been to the Park Ave restaurant so this was our first visit to Tribeca. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. This is the special place we take out-of-town visitors to taste the BEST steak we've ever had!!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMSteak for allSteak for 2 or 3 was unbelievable. This place was the best place I ate at in NYC last visit. Wonderful service and food prepared perfectly. They do a great job here. I considered going back the very next night!!!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food in a classicExcellent food in a classic NYC steak house. The place is very noisy.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AM2nd time i visited wolfgang.

Food n service are as good
One of the best steakhouse in NYC5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ordered the porterhouseWe ordered the porterhouse for 3, medium rare. It was juicy and tender and absolutely wonderful. For sides we got the creamed spinach, german potatoes and sauteed onions. All 3 paired very well with the steak. I've been to Wolfgang's at other locations and I have never been disappointed.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWolfgang's in Tribeca getsWolfgang's in Tribeca gets my vote as the best of the four Wolfgang's in Manhattan and the best steakhouse I've been to. The quality of the side dishes, the savor of the steaks -- even the quality of the martinis -- beats all rivals (and I've tried a lot of them). Prices aren't cheap, and food arrives so quickly that dinner won't fill your evening. But such glorious dining!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding! It's my second time dining at Wolfgang's , and it was just as fantastic as the first! Great place, you won't be disappointed.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steak we had by far inBest steak we had by far in the city; we had the Porterhouse for 2.... staff was very attentive but not annoying, great wine list, german potato & sautéed spinach was perfectly cooked.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome steak, service & experienceI have eaten at Wolgang's and Peter Luger's on multiple occasions. If you want a nicer looking restaurant, with better service and excellent food, Wolfgang's is the place. If you want a tourist attraction and want to brag to your friends where you ate, I suppose Peter Lugers is better.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply the best...I'm a serious steak eater and I loved going to Peter Luger's for years. Once I found out about Wolfgang's I switched and have yet to go back. They serve the best porterhouse in New York and they do it with class and sophistication just like steak should be served. It's the same meat you get at Luger's, but with table clothes, no attitude when you ask for a menu, and you can even use your credit card. I go to the Tribeca location when with family or any group which requires a little less noise but when out with the guys and men want to act like men, the original location on 33rd street is classic. Can't wait to come back soon.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMalways a great time here -always a great time here - thank god i don't have to trek it to brooklyn for a great steak5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steak I can remember.Best steak I can remember. We had steak for four and it was perfect--cooked exactly how we asked, tender, juicy, full of flavor, no gristle--I can't say enough about how good this steak was. We also had the bacon appetizer, that was surprisingly delicious and I recommend it for sharing. The desserts were fine, nothing to comment on. Wolfgang's is worth it, but it is expensive.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good.. The best one inVery good.. The best one in their group! You can eat at the bar, too.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent steak house. NeverExcellent steak house. Never disappoints. The steak is fantastic, the sides are great and the rolls to start always fresh and varied. Love the place.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place is wonderful. TheThis place is wonderful. The steak is incredible and you leave full. Try the creamed spinach.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWONDERFULWe dined here with a group for my husband's birthday because he wanted a steak. Three of us ate fish (Yes! at Wolfgang's) and one of us is a vegetarian. They accommodated all of our dietary requests enthusiastically. Neighborhood gem!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently awesome. IntroduceConsistently awesome. Introduce yourself to Ralph, he's the man behind the bar and can make your experience even more memorable.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAs Steakhouses go this isAs Steakhouses go this is the Gold standard in my mind. The cuts are first quality, the sides are delicious and after dozens and dozens of meals, I have never had anything less than a first rate meal. The wine list is also quite good with a good range of bottles from the moderate to the stratospheric. Service is always knowledgable and accommodating4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMLike Luger but betterIf you love the food at Peter Luger in Williamsburg, but hate the ambiance and unfriendly staff, then this is the place for you. Food is top notch and on par with Luger. I have been to Luger many times and can definitely say the food is a match. The only unfortunate part is that it's a match on the price as well. But then again....food is fantastic.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat carnivore wouldn't likeWhat carnivore wouldn't like not only the amazing steaks, but the classic steakhouse feel of this TriBeCa staple? Great food, great wine and a nice place to celebrate something.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMSteak places can be formulaic.Steak places can be formulaic. Wolfgang's is having all the "standards" for an American steakhouse but they execute them well with attentive and friendly service. Our steak for four was prepared flawlessly. It is so hard to get a rare steak at a steak house and they did it first time. This is my NY Steakhouse.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe steak is super.but itThe steak is super.but it will be nice if you offer a side salad for the steak. As a lady the stomach is not so big and a salad is a light side dish.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWolfgangs was great. We wereWolfgangs was great. We were there with teenagers and even they had enough to eat. Great steaks, good selection of sides.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMdon't waste your appetitedon't waste your appetite on starters - go right for the meat!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI've long thought that Wolfgang'sI've long thought that Wolfgang's in Tribeca is the world's best steakhouse. I still think so, but prices are creeping up (dinner for two now tops $200), and gristle is creeping in. Nonetheless, I don't know a better alternative.2/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThis diner thinks Wolfgang'sThis diner thinks Wolfgang's in Tribeca is the best steakhouse in the world -- yes, including Peter Luger (where Wolfgang himself learned the business). Prices are rising, which is a pity because it's harder than ever to justify a meal at Wolfgang's on a casual basis. But the quality of the food above all, as well as the swift suavity of the wait-staff and the general bonhomie, are unrivaled by any other steakhouse I know of. And after trying all four Wolfgang's in NYC, the Tribeca branch seems to edge just past the others in terms of comfort and deliciousness.1/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
