Wok n Fire - Burr RidgeExcellent Asian FusionNice range of variety and offerings, some hot, some for the less adventurous and sushi as well. Sweet potato glass noodles were very good and creative. Nice fresh vegetables in generous but not overwhelming presentations. The Mango Cheesecake was very light and delicious and there is nice varieties at all levels. The restaurant is comfortable, nicely furnished and the personnel are attentive and friendly. But, we arrived 20 minutes early, checked in with the hostess and stated we would have a cocktail at the bar and wait the 20 minutes, (even though she offered to seat us immediatley), She approached us at the bar and inquired if we would prefer to eat at the bar or to be seated? we stated, no we will clear up the bill, then come up to be seated. We waited a little bit for the check and then proceeded to the hostess. Ate. Left. Checked into Opentable to reserve a reservation for this weekend and saw that we did not get the points for Wok n fire. Don't know if the hostess forgot to check us in or what? I had the Korean BBQ rib special which was excellent. It's definitely a keeper! Can't wait to try again and try something different. If your looking for something interesting, unique and just plain different - give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFrom someone in restaurant biz.....I work in a restaurant, and I love food so it takes a lot to impress me but this place was fantastic! We went around 7:30 on Friday night with a reservation. Friendly and attentive service, nice place, very clean, food was filling! Sushi is my favorite, so I'm even more picky, but it was very good and fresh. Price is decent for a higher-end place. I didn't try any of the noodle dishes, but my friends had them and ate them all up. They brought a tiny dessert for my boyfriend's birthday and it was delicious as well. The booth was huge so we weren't as close as I would've like to been but hey! Better than being squished and definitely not something to complain about (we should've all sqooched in!)

The bar area is like a 70s disco with changing lights etc, but the main restaurant is nice and kid friendly.
