The WK Hearth is a seasonal restaurant with a focus fresh, local ingredients and beef. We take our name, WK Hearth from our brick oven and our location inside a historic farmhouse. Our atmosphere is inviting and warm created by a relaxed hospitality you will find nowhere else.

We strive to offer simple, seasonal dishes that highlight all the outstanding ingredients of our local farms have to offer. We believe that wine is a pleasure best shared with good food among friends and family. We offer over 30 wines by the glass and 10 flights. All deliciously paired with our constantly changing seasonal menu.

    We attended Brunch at the WK in Purcellville. Previously, we have encountered a great dining experience at the Wine Kitchen in Frederick where we enjoyed fantastic steaks. However, we were disappointed at the Brunch spread and found nothing (we ordered Shrimp & Grits, Omelette and Steak & Cheese sandwich) exceptional.

    Sadly saw that at the end of Loudoun Restaurant Week, the Purcellville WK Hearth will close. Sigh - realize that had we gone more often, it still would likely have not made a difference, but sure will miss it. We've had some awesome food there with flavors that are so delightful, unique, and unexpected - but sooo delicious ... and wine, mmmm, the wine. Sigh. Our meal was delightful and we sat on the porch with a light breeze and the evening settling in. Our server was slammed, but still managed to be efficient, professional, and helpful with wine recommendations. We were not in any hurry and nowhere to be, so we were relaxed and not bothered by waiting. It was lovely and bittersweet. Thank you, WK Hearth, for the time, food, and wine we did have together :-)

    So sad that this restaurant will soon be leaving Purcellville! Love their gluten free options and Happy Hour specials!

    Always excellent wines - by the flight, glass or bottle. Food is delicious and based upon local availability.

    It's always a treat to go to WK Hearth. Its ambiance is inventive - hip and authentic farm décor. The wines are a great draw - I always find a wine that impresses me, and I have to take a bottle home - at a great discount! They have multiple tasting flights and imaginative descriptions of the wines to shape your tasting experience. I'm always interested in what the chef will be featuring - really, really good local ingredients make for a delightful, delicious find each time. I have to say that the service is exceptional as well. It is so hard to find quality service these days - the waitstaff who are pleasant, cheerful, knowledgeable, who clear the table and fill water glasses (with filtered water) at the right time, give you a new fork and knife for your entrée (instead of saying, "save your fork!"), check back on you without intruding, and without making you wait forever if you need something. Just really well-trained in fine dining service. Love it.
