"We decided to splurge for the weekend, and while we enjoyed the experience, we're still debating whether we both think the $600 price tag was worth it. We had seven courses, and while certainly delicious, it was uneven, and it never seemed to be enough food on the plate, which, we know, is the way courses run. We ordered the superlative wine flights at $20 per course,per person, and while that's a lot to drink, if you wanted an extra taste of a wine you liked, it wasn't being offered. The place is intimate, though is seems a bit sparse. Tablecloths and floral centerpieces would add ambiance and romance to the austerity of the wood paneling. Service is highly attentive with a knowledgeable sommelier and several busboys."

"We are tasting dinner aficionados, and this was one of the best we've had. The Wine Room is set off by itself, away from the hustle and bustle of the main dining room. The lighting, dark wood, burgundy leather, and walls of wine bottles let you know you're in for a treat. The evening began with a lovely champagne and amuse bouche. I liked that you can choose between 4, 5, and 7 courses. You also choose between "classic," "exotic," and "superlative" wines. This being our Valentine date, we chose the superlative wines. I'm sure they are all delicious, but these were truly superlative. Each pairing was perfect. The Wine Room has set a new standard in wine tasting dinners."

"Just enjoyed a very special dinner in the Wine Room with my wife for her birthday. Fittingly, the wine was the star of the show - and we would both suggest that diners choose the "eclectic" pairings, which really allowed the sommelier to show off some atypical wines that we *really* enjoyed. The food ranged from very good to truly outstanding; the highlight was a foie gras over coconut french toast with a maple demi-glace that was just fantastic.

To be sure, neither of us is really a hard-core foodie nor a particularly adept wino ;-), but we know what we like and this was it. Wasn't cheap: $300+ out the door for four courses with pairings, but was worth it. Would look forward to going back anytime!"

"...is where excellently prepared tasting menus take place. We opted for the 7 course tasting that became name if you count the amuse bouche and intermezzo. The personal attention from the sommelier as you dine enhances the experience. Some the stand out courses include the fried oyster with spinach cream and proscuitto, seared foie gras that absolutely melts in the mouth, and the seasonal influence on each accompaniment. Service was great once we got the dinner started, but we felt ignored for about the first 15 minutes, at which point we flagged down the busser to get our night started. We never saw the dining room or bar, but we'd happily go back to check it out."

"OUTSTANDING!! A bit expensive, dinner for myself and my special lady came out to $410 - but it was worth EVERY penny. The Wine Room seats only about 10 tables, but on the night I went there was only one other couple - which made for an extremely romantic setting. The food was AMAZING! If you're debating between the 5 and 7 courses - go with 7. Also, the superlative wine pairings were excellent. I've never been much of a wino - but every selection was superb."
