Wine Market BistroAlways an amazing experience! My husband took me to the Wine Market for my birthday dinner and everything was spectacular! As we were picking out our first bottle of wine from the shop, our waitress brought over two complementary glasses of sparkling wine to kick off the celebration. The food was fantastic, as always; the waitress was attentive and very knowledgable about the food; and my husband and I enjoyed a long, romantic evening sipping on wine together. This is by far our top spot in Baltimore for a special night out!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome food at an awesome price!I've been here twice so far and i honestly cAnt wait for another excuse to go back there. The menu always changes and the food is nothing but fresh and very creative dishes put together. All around great experience highly recommended.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMalways greatWe love going to the Wine Market Bistro. The food is always, creative, fresh and really amazing. Not just ok, but great. The chef always prepares according to the season. I had a special request for a meal not on the menu and it was so over the top!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Go-to RestaurantWe had good food, excellent service and delicious wine at the Wine Market. Even the martini arrived exactly as ordered. This was not our first visit and we've found the food and service to be consistently good. Well worth a visit!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMOut of this World!Everytime I visit the Wine Market Bistro it is truly a dining experience. Amazing seasonal food choices and unique menus that provide a dining adventure to your visitors. This visit included being amazed at the effects of buttermilk and cornmeal have on oysters and stepping out my comfort zone eat an item that may not seem appealing by the name (pork cheek) but wow, it was incredible.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMInspired menu and wine listWe wanted a leisurely but early dinner so we could go to the BSO concert and the Wine Market was a perfect choice. We were the first to be seated, good service, great selection of wine by the glass, creative and eclectice menu and no rush.
Our only suggestion -- be more creative with the naming of the dishes. For example, "suckling pig" really under sold the dish and wasn't the most inspiring name. We jokingly told the waitress that we were renaming it "pig on a pillow."
Because we were there so early it was very quiet, but I have been there when it is full and fairly lively.
It is one of my "go to" restaurants for hosting out of town guests.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMReliably ImpressiveThe Wine Market is a great place for amazing food, expertly prepared, and served in a beautiful (but casual) atmosphere. The service is very friendly and attentive, and usually knowledgable. There are hundreds of wines to choose from, as you might expect from a place called Then Wine Market, and the staff will gladly offer a recommendation for a wine to go with your food. The plates are beautifully presented and look as good as they taste. You might also see some notable people dining there; in the past, we've spotted Baltimore's Mayor, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, and actor Josh Charles (Dead Poets Society, The Good Wife). And the patio is very pleasant for outside dining.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful BrunchGreat bunch! Nice twists on the usual brunch fair. Beautiful restaurant and great service (and you get a discount at the wine and beer shop to get something yummy to take home after your meal)4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA treasure.Just behind an excellent wine shop is a real treasure of a restaurant. The menu is inventive and full of surprises. The food is delicious and there is something for everyone; especially for the foodie in your life. Service is always friendly and helpful. Go early for pre-theater dinner.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service were excellent.Food and service were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the bread pudding was topknotch.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMBSA mojoThe Wine Market arranged to seat me early, so that I could return home
safe & sound that evening. I in attendance at the Baltimore School for
the Arts Fundraising dinner. The food and presentation were delicious
and efficient. My server Joe, took time to explain facets of the menu.
His easy manner and accomodating style made me feel especially cared for!
The overall value (price paid $40), was exceptional, given the three courses
and gracious service.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSo glad we tried this place! We went to Wine Market Bistro not knowing about the special benefit menu they had... A prix fix of three courses for $39. Every course was excellent and interesting! The smoked trout dip with potato chips was delicious. The short ribs and salmon were wonderful. For dessert we especially enjoyed the bread pudding. The carrot cake was divine. We weren't too sure how we felt about the carrot ice cream with it, but it made for interesting discussion! We sat in the private dining room in the back and the noise level was a lot lower that the main space. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We will absolutely be back!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for Easter brunchWe went for Easter brunch and had a choice of dining from the special prix-fixe or the regular brunch menu. The special menu was an excellent value for the choice of dishes. The server was very knowledgeable of the wines and made good recommendations on pairings. When she noticed I didn't care for a particular wine, she brought a taste of another. After the dessert I had ordered from the special menu was out (and she noted my disappointment as I'd ordered it earlier with the rest of the meal and didn't really care for the other prix-fixe desserts), she brought over the regular dessert menu for me to make another choice. All in all, an excellent dining experience.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMRelaxed, comfortable atmosphereRelaxed, comfortable atmosphere with creative, fresh and seasonal food served in reasonable proportions at

The ambiance is great. Service is impeccable. The front of the restaurant is a wine store. You can choose your wine before dining for a small corkage fee, or choose from the extensive wine list. After dining stroll the wine store and all your purchases are 10% off with restaurant dining.1/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWent to Wine Market with aWent to Wine Market with a friend for Restaurant Week and had a great time! The food was really delicious and inspired by seasonal availability (i.e., lots of brussels, leeks, beets, and roasted meats), making everything very satisfying. We were pleasantly surprised by the option to get a lower priced bottle of wine, which went perfectly with the meal. We both also loved our desserts -- the smores brownie/cake deliciousness and the pumpkin brulee were a wonderful end to a delicious meal! I would absolutely go back and recommend to others.1/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
