  • "Great place to have some brunch and do some day drinking. Low key, quiet spot on the patio."

  • "Oddly found this on Open Table site as I usually go by Zagat. But this great little place is not in Zagat and theyve been open for years! Glad Open Table recommended them ."

  • "The summer is a playground and finding spots to go that are relaxing, fun and have great food is just the icing on the cake. Wine 30 is all of those things. I love the menu it is a mix of everything and all of it is superb! The wine list is incredible and have no fear if you don't know what to get the waiters know the wine like you know how to spell your name."

  • "Interesting menu options. I was there with 3 friends. I had an arugula salad with grilled shrimp. the shrimp were nicely flavored for a salad & well prepared. my friends enjoyed their meals...crabcake sandwich and butternut squash salad. we all had the fresh squeezed lemonade. great place for an outdoor lunch."

  • "This is now one of my go to places! Granted, it was a Saturday afternoon but around the corner bars/restaurants were packed and LOUD! Wine30 service was outstanding and the food fantastic! My new go to place!!!"

  • "The food here is excellent. Seriously excellent. It may look like a regular Manhattan street side restaurant, but it has a wonderful outdoor dining area as well as a wine cellar dug into the bedrock (that you can eat/have events in). The wait staff are fantastic; pleasant, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Just don't go for the bar. My bartender was actually pretty snotty. I ordered a cocktail, and he gave me a very snide "You do know this is a wine bar, right?"... while standing in front of stacks of liquor behind the bar. Luckily I wasn't at the bar long and left his negative attitude for his more lovely coworkers. Seriously, have a meal here, just skip the bar."

  • "I came here for a special birthday dinner with family. We had a cheese plate and several bruschettas--the carmelized onion with goat cheese and gruyere was our favorite. the wine list was extensive and our server was fantastic!"

  • "great little restaurant tucked away in the big noisy city - Went there for lunch with co workers sat in the garden in the back ( no city noise) The food was wonderful, Be sure to have the corn chowder and crab cake sandwich The skirt steak sanwich wasn't bad either"

  • "Decent enough for lunch - cute, quaint, but table size was too small for more than 2 people... tables too close together. Food was good with decent portions."

  • "Looked for a place for a nice lunch with a friend and this popped up. We sat outside in their courtyard on a beautiful summer afternoon. Food was great...service was bit slow...but will definitely go back."

  • "this is a good option if you are in murray hill and don't want bar food or Mexican! the menu is small but the food is tasty and the prices aren't too bad. there is an outdoor courtyard with cool fans for summer and heaters for cold weather! overall it has a European feel..and of course a very large wine list and lots of beers too!"

  • "Love the food here, it is always so fresh and I've never disliked what i've ordered. The crostini/bruchettas are amazing!!! I love the ambiance, ask to sit in the back patio or back room. You'd never expect how cute it is in back from the front."

  • "The food and wine were lovely, and I love the outdoor patio in the back of the restaurant, but the service needs to be improved. There were several times we just couldn't get anyone's attention, and our wine glasses were empty."

  • "Good food and the out door patio is beautiful. It really adds to the experience."

  • "Went to wine 30 with a group of kindergarten teachers to celebrate the end of the year. They accomadated our party of 7 nicely. Our server was fun and amazing. They wouldn't take more than 4 credit cards for a party, that was kind of annoying, but at least they told us ahead of time that this was the case. This was the 2nd time I've been there; last was also a party of 7-8 and we enjoyed it too. I"

  • "This is a great place for a quick mid-week lunch, fresh salad, attentive wait-staff."

  • "Really like the simplicity of the menu with plenty of options for meat lovers as well as vegetarians. Good wine list and ample seating options - the back patio is great! Service was a bit slow for our food, but beverages came right away and we were also seated right as a large party arrived so I am sure that is what caused the delay in food service."

  • "This place has a very cute garden in the back which is nice even when it rains as they will pull an awning. Notable wine list, I loved the German Riesling and the scallops. The chocolate cake with ice cream was a bit of a disappointment."

  • "I had the endive boat with beets, host cheese & Hazelnut. It was great. I also had bruschetta with garlic, goat cheese & cashews, which was wonderful. They also have a lovely wine list- I had the Trimbach Riesling-YUM."

  • "We chose the place for a light dinner. The dishes were good and the wine (Italian) very good. But we were disapointed by the desert, especially the apple pie that was different from our expectations. The main problem was the waiter that started to take away plates when few of us were still eating. It made me feel unconfortable."

  • "I went here for my boyfriends birthday. I had added a comment in my open table reservation that I would like a certain type of champagne ready at out table when we arrived, which they did. The service was great, the appetizers with odd ingredients were worth the try (the spicy beef lollipops and goat cheese bruschetta) and the wine list is extensive. My only complaint is the mushroom ravioli. It was absolutely terrible. Even the presentation made you second guess cutting into the meal. If you're looking at the menu and considering it, just don't. My boyfriend however ordered the hanger steak and his plate was clean by the end of the meal."

  • "been to wine 30 twice, once with a group of girls and once with my husband. the food was a lot better when I was with the girls.it's because we only ordered appetizers cheese and dips. Totally worth going here if you want to eat small bites of a variety of items and drink a lot of wine. It's quite reasonable to! For 3 bottles of wine and 6 appetizers we all paid 50 a head amongst the 6 of us. when I visited here with my husband, we ordered entrees and they were very low on flavor . The chicken and ribs both didn't have any taste. The ribs were way too well done and has lost all their juiciness. place is very close to my apartment , so we will definitely come here again, however will come here in a group and order only appetizers and cheese"

  • "Nice atmosphere, young people, but a bit noisy. Very good food, the braised short rib was great."

  • "Clientele seems to be 90% young women. Maybe it's the wine"

  • "Wine 30 is one of those places, you don't need a reason to go. Weekend, weekday, any day... It's the perfect spot to digress over an amazing glass of wine and good food. The staff is very friendly too. I love this place."

  • "Met up with my college girlfriends at Wine 30. We enjoyed the ability to split lots of little plates, our waitress was knowledgable and offered great suggestions. The noise level was just right for catching up. We will definitely go back."

  • "Went for Valentines day dinner. Had a prix fixe menu for $75 which would normally be high but not bad for valentines day. Food and service were solid. We ate in wine cellar which was great. Tables were small and cramped but that was ok. Definitely would go back again and recommend to a friend."

  • "As the name implies, Wine 30is primarily about the wine list, 30 of which are always offered by the glass. Located on 30th between Madison and Park, walking through the front door delivers you into a long narrow room dominated by the bar and a few 2 tops for sitting and enjoying wine. If you keep walking back, you enter the small squarish dining room with some outside soace and downstairs wine rooms for private parties. Food was good, both cold and hot small plates designed for enjoying with wine. The staff was only marginally wine lnowlegable, but adequate and friendly. A bit pricey, my Barbaresco was $115 a bottle, retails for $57. Nice place to stop in for a glass in a great neighborhood"

  • "Many places that you dine at in Manhattan are tiny with tables very close together. This spot is the same but I didn't care once we were lucky to eat in the wine cellar. It was so "cool" to eat down there with all the wines that range in age and price. Our waiter and all of the severs were witty and very familiar with the menu and the wine. I loved it ! It made my weekend very romantic and the food was sublime."

  • "We have gone to brunch here twice in the last month. It seems funny to tell a friend to meet you at Wine:30 for brunch but they have a wonderful brunch. Food is spectacular. Service is awesome. We have only gone in the winter but you can see the outside (behind restaurant) seating and we cant wait to go when Spring comes. What a great little spot!"

  • "We were in the city looking for a wine bar to have a few drinks for dinner. Such a great find! Felt more like a neighborhood wine bar even though I think it is a chain. Super nice staff and had a wonderful time. A few appetizers and tried two different wines - all very good. Highly recommend and look forward to returning on our next trip!"

  • "We waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived, it was sub-par at best. The owner/manager's explanation on the delay was that we added 2 people to our party at the last minute. If they couldn't accommodate us, they should have said as much. Not to mention that the customer is always right."

  • "First-time visitor, what a find! :) Service was warm and efficient, encouraging comfort and casual atmosphere. Amazing selection of tapas, one better than the next. From creative Bruschetta to tasty Lollipops, with grilled shrimp in between, it was a treat to dine al fresco with heat lamps and prompt attention to all our needs. Will definitely be returning to the neighborhood gem!"
