The service is always professional, cooperative and friendly. We had a minor "blip" with one of our appetizers Friday night but the waitress handled the situation with finesse and it was hardly a problem. The salad bar is always a hit and our food was prepared properly and the taste was as expected. The greet staff is friendly and the small request I write on my Open Table reservation is always honored. There are now two new "high end" steak houses in the area and their only advantage is that the prices are 25 - 30% higher than the Windjammer. The food is great. The salad bar deserves any awards it has won - especially th ehouse dressing (dill). Food portions big enough to take home and have lunch the next day. We were seated as soon as we arrived by very friendly staff. The salad bar is always an excellent choice, good variety and fresh. Our prime rib, cooked perfectly! I have been there numerous times and it never ceases to amaze me how much effort is put into every little thing that is in the place. But the steaks (ribeye) and prime rib were stellar! I have been to many of the top rated stand alone steak houses and chains around the country (e.g., Ray's the Steaks, Mortons, Manny's, BLTs, etc.) and would be more than happy to come back again (should I get the chance)!
