  • "An excellent family friendly restaurant where everyone I have taken has enjoyed the brunch even if they were vegetarians! The restaurant has maintained a very high standard over decades! Thanks!"

  • "We've been here several times and usually enjoy both the food and prompt service, but on this particular visit, our waitress was very rude, loud and inappropriate. She spoke to us and asked us questions that just.....you don't. A huge turn off. I don't know if it was a cultural thing (she had a thick Southern accent) but she didn't listen to a lot that we said, hovered over us when she wanted our plates, and left several small dirty appetizer plates on the table all night (I was about to take one to the hostess when we finally left). Just left a very, VERY bad taste in our mouth."

  • "This is a good, popular, standard, stand-by restaurant. Food is well prepared and the wine list offers good choices. The service is usually more attentive - it wasn't unfriendly, but there was something "off" compared to my many other visits - it seemed odd to have the bill envelope plunked down without a word on her way past the table, no one had done that to us before."

  • "It was our second time at Winberie's for brunch. The food is delicious, and the service is fantastic!"

  • "so i wanted something healthy..so i ordered the bean burger. it had a nice flavor, but it you could not eat it as a 'burger'...it was mush and was more like a spread...so ate it like a bagel with cream cheese. it needs some work."

  • "My wife and I enjoy the Brunch here on Sundays. Good selection, friendly staff. Not too bad for the cost."

  • "this restaurant has the best soup and seafood is always perfectly prepared."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "Found out that many menu items come pre-packaged (?) and can't be altered much. Had the whitefish and it tasted like a half cup of salt was added in - gross!"
    Dined on 2/21/2014
  • "I have been dining at WInberie's for many years and it seldom disappoints. I chose it for Valentine's Day this year and it was a great choice. I had the sea scallop special - it was very good."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "I was looking for a healthy choice in a pleasant environment. I ordered the Chicken Rice Bowl. If I'm not mistaken the brown rice mentioned in the menu was replaced by cous cous and the cous cous was lumpy and hard, not fluffy. The vegies were barely warmed through but not cooked (al dente to a fault). The chicken was nicely grilled and seasoning was "tasty". But the meal left much to be desired. The dessert(Toll House Pie) was adequate."

  • "Restaurant provided quiet corner for family and friends who attended a funeral. Pleasant atmosphere, ample menu choices, courteous and prompt service."
    Dined on 2/10/2014
  • "Not a bad experience. Just not a particularly good one. No egg on the nicoise salad and frozen beans. Also. why the TV? It reduces the ambience. Not good in our opinion."

  • "Heard good things about Winberries, made reservations quite easily through Open Table, and were ushered to our table by a friendly greeter upon entering. The place has something of a pub-like atmosphere, well lit, both families and young unmarrieds were there. Water was friendly and informative, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and got everything we wanted. The food was very good, although my wife was disappointed with her desert (a peach cobbler and the peaches were not cooked). But all in all a very pleasurable experience and one which we will repeat!"

  • "Elegant, flavorful and satisfying dining, perfect level of noise for conversation, perfect timing of service. My partner and I decided to have dinner here for our fourteenth anniversary, and Winberie's started the evening pitch-perfectly!"

  • "We stopped in at 2pm. It is always clean and the food tasty. But the service is so slow. Our waiter may have had only our table. Took forever to get the first glass of water then another forever for the bread and another forever to place the order. Not a fast food resterant."

  • "Winberie's is our go to restaurant. If we want good food close to home, it's a favorite spot. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. This restaurant has some of THE BEST French Onion Soup that I've ever had, which was my choice that night. No main entree for me, my daughter ate an always fresh salad. I love taking/meeting friends and family to Winberie's."

  • "My friend and I went here for dinner on NYE, we wanted to go somewhere nice but stay local. They were very understanding when we were a bit late because of the snow. We were seated right away. They had party hats for us at our table which was cute. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We both had the the lemon-parmesan chicken and split the raspberry mousse for dessert. Very flavorful and just the right amount of food. We were satisfied, but not uncomfortably full. The cocktails were great too and very reasonably priced. The decor and ambiance is very nice as well. It's clean, warm and softly lit, but not stuffy. The only down side was that there were a few times when my water glass was empty."

  • "The dining room is cozy, but we were sitting in the front room and it was pretty chilly every time the door opened. The service was friendly and prompt, but my pasta dish was pretty bland."

  • "There were 3 members in our group and we all enjoyed iur Christmas celebration together. We ordered the chicken special, tilapia Rockefeller, and a spicy Cajun macaroni dish. Our food was served hot and was flavorful and tasty. My son ordered the Cajun dish and said for him it could have been spicier! We came expecting great food and a relaxed atmosphere and we were not disappointed. We had a $30 monteray Chardonnay and my son had a fat tire beer. We did not order appetizers or salads. They offer a little bit of some thin' for dessert which is smaller in size and price. We got the sweet potato cheesecake and enjoyed it! Our entire bill was a little over a $100. This is one of our favorite local places to go."

  • "Our waitress seemed a bit stressed and unattentive at first but eventually our order was taken. Food took a bit to come out but was well worth it when it arrived. Kid friendly - our toddler literally had her full 2hr nap in the booth. Atmosphere was comfy but classy. Great for date night or a family meal."

  • "One of our party of 8 is retiring. Winberie's was a logical choice as it is close by work and known for its good food. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. On this occasion I had the best chopped salad I have ever had. It was perfectly dressed with a lighter dressing with many interesting chopped vegetables adding color and texture. I honestly didn't think I'd finish it but I ate it all! Others had a hamburger, chicken breast soup and tilapia which all looked very appealing and were presented nicely. Good service too, very attentive but not unctuous."

  • "It was a stormy Sunday, and we went for Sunday brunch. The place is nice, but the tables are a bit too close, I don't like bumping the chair at the table behind me when I get up. The food was well prepared and plentiful, although they are not flexible on omelet ingredients. I had to accept one of the preset choices, then the serve brought me one that I did not order. That was not the biggest problem though, when the bill came there were drinks that we did not order added to the bill."

  • "Had occasion to visit Winberie's again. It continues to be a great spot to go eat. Food was great!"

  • "Took family there for a going away party for an uncle and an aunt. Needed to find a pleasant, conversation friendly environment that would provide food interesting enough for the adventurous among the group, but with enough staples to please the American basic element of our crowd. Winberie's fit the bill to a T and was reasonably priced. My wife had the cedar planked salmon; I had the salmon sandwich. Mine was great; my wife's was a little dry but still tasty; our uncle had the burger with bacon and onions and deemed it the best burger he'd ever had. Not where I'd go for a fancy dinner out, nor for a culinary adventure -- just reliable, interesting and tasty food."

  • "I met some prospects here for a "discovery" lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait staff was spot on and handled everything very professionally yet with a friendly feel to it. The food was delicious and arrived in a timely matter."

  • "Great place if you want to engage in conversation over lunch as it is not noisy at all. Nice food at a reasonable price."

  • "It has been a year since eating here and they have new and favorites on the menu. We were a party of 3 and enjoyed the steak frites, tilapia Rockefeller, and shrimp dinner. We all loved our dinners. Service was friendly and well paced. The dinner wine was good. The birthday girl got a complimentary toll house pie with ice cream and a lit candle. The rest of us were full but ordered from the little something desert selection. Loved the chocolate creme brûlée and cup of cappuccino served with chocolate biscotti. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night but we got seated right away with our reservation thru open table."

  • "Although it's been around a long time, I finally made it there - and glad I did. Service was friendly and accommodating. Attentive but not annoyingly constant. And I must adhere to a gluten free diet and this place fits the bill very well. Great menu choices and the food was very delicious. Would definitely go back."

  • "The ambiance was not what I expected considering how expensive the food is. It felt more like a diner."
