  • "Love the gluten free menu and the variety of options it includes."

  • "Great for special occasions and business lunches or dinners. The wait staff is always attentive and helpful with the menu. The food is superb and reasonably priced. This restaurant never fails our group."

  • "Service was great. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Had dinner and the food was mediocre at best. Maybe its better for lunch? The sandwich menu looked inviting. I guess I'd give it another try."

  • "First time for us. We met two other couples there and our group was well taken care of. Had a reservation - no waiting. Good food, very good service and great atmosphere. And best of all it was quiet enough that we could sit and visit without having to yell across the table. Other than parking being a little problematic it was great and we would definitely return."

  • "This the place to go when you are unsure... because they have a little of everything. Service is either fantastic or average."

  • "Winberie's never fails for its good food and great service. This experience was no exception. Separate checks take all the stress out of group dining at Winberie's. Taking large or small groups to Winberie's makes good dining easy. The waitress was very efficient - not overly solicitous, but consistent. The wide range of food options (I'm vegetarian.) makes selective dining easy too. I dine regularly at Winberie's and will continue to do so. I even changed my reservation to arrive 30 minutes earlier than planned. All went well! "

  • "Decent restaurant near the Pleasant Home historic house and grounds. We had a chicken pasta dish. My wife was disappointed in the quality of the chicken breast. We showed the waitress. She apologized and was pleased we brought it to their attention. They offered additional chicken which we did not expect and did not accept. They did comp my wife's dessert."

  • "My family celebrated my sister's birthday by visiting Winberie's for brunch. Everyone treated us quite kindly and the food was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again. "

  • "Brunch offerings were plentiful, however, the food was lackluster, at best. Scrambled eggs weren't seasoned; breakfast sausage and bacon were tasteless. Egg (one) Benedict was just okay. Sliced roast beef in au jus, on the other hand, was very good. Didn't try the waffles or french toast, so I can't comment. They were very crowded and the noise level was high. Service was hit and miss, although to be fair, there were two waitresses handling several tables. All in all, value for the money spent ($20/person) was acceptable. We've eaten at Winberies before, but after experiencing brunch, I don't think we'll do that again. "

  • "I ordered the Asian salmon salad and it was very tasty. My husband's whitefish was really good too. Wish we lived closer !"

  • "I was looking for a restaurant to take someone on our first dinner date and above all I was looking for some place romantic, and this restaurant did not disappoint, it has that kind of atmosphere, The service was very good, our waitress was attentive, explained the menu well, and she was very professional, and sweet too. The food was very good, and I would recommend this place to my friends."

  • "We've been here several times and usually enjoy both the food and prompt service, but on this particular visit, our waitress was very rude, loud and inappropriate. She spoke to us and asked us questions that just.....you don't. A huge turn off. I don't know if it was a cultural thing (she had a thick Southern accent) but she didn't listen to a lot that we said, hovered over us when she wanted our plates, and left several small dirty appetizer plates on the table all night (I was about to take one to the hostess when we finally left). Just left a very, VERY bad taste in our mouth."

  • "We had to host 11 people on short notice and Winberie's was best available for the time. They graciously accommodated us and we had really great service! The food is fine -- not spectacular, but no real misses either. A nice touch was their response to one of our guests wanting fondue (not on the menu) and providing a really nice spread."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "This is a good, popular, standard, stand-by restaurant. Food is well prepared and the wine list offers good choices. The service is usually more attentive - it wasn't unfriendly, but there was something "off" compared to my many other visits - it seemed odd to have the bill envelope plunked down without a word on her way past the table, no one had done that to us before."

  • "so i wanted something healthy..so i ordered the bean burger. it had a nice flavor, but it you could not eat it as a 'burger'...it was mush and was more like a spread...so ate it like a bagel with cream cheese. it needs some work."

  • "this restaurant has the best soup and seafood is always perfectly prepared."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "Found out that many menu items come pre-packaged (?) and can't be altered much. Had the whitefish and it tasted like a half cup of salt was added in - gross!"
    Dined on 2/21/2014
  • "I was looking for a healthy choice in a pleasant environment. I ordered the Chicken Rice Bowl. If I'm not mistaken the brown rice mentioned in the menu was replaced by cous cous and the cous cous was lumpy and hard, not fluffy. The vegies were barely warmed through but not cooked (al dente to a fault). The chicken was nicely grilled and seasoning was "tasty". But the meal left much to be desired. The dessert(Toll House Pie) was adequate."

  • "I have been dining at WInberie's for many years and it seldom disappoints. I chose it for Valentine's Day this year and it was a great choice. I had the sea scallop special - it was very good."

  • "Restaurant provided quiet corner for family and friends who attended a funeral. Pleasant atmosphere, ample menu choices, courteous and prompt service."

  • "Not a bad experience. Just not a particularly good one. No egg on the nicoise salad and frozen beans. Also. why the TV? It reduces the ambience. Not good in our opinion."

  • "Friendly staff, and inventive food at reasonable prices."

  • "Heard good things about Winberries, made reservations quite easily through Open Table, and were ushered to our table by a friendly greeter upon entering. The place has something of a pub-like atmosphere, well lit, both families and young unmarrieds were there. Water was friendly and informative, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and got everything we wanted. The food was very good, although my wife was disappointed with her desert (a peach cobbler and the peaches were not cooked). But all in all a very pleasurable experience and one which we will repeat!"

  • "Elegant, flavorful and satisfying dining, perfect level of noise for conversation, perfect timing of service. My partner and I decided to have dinner here for our fourteenth anniversary, and Winberie's started the evening pitch-perfectly!"

  • "We stopped in at 2pm. It is always clean and the food tasty. But the service is so slow. Our waiter may have had only our table. Took forever to get the first glass of water then another forever for the bread and another forever to place the order. Not a fast food resterant."

  • "My friend and I went here for dinner on NYE, we wanted to go somewhere nice but stay local. They were very understanding when we were a bit late because of the snow. We were seated right away. They had party hats for us at our table which was cute. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We both had the the lemon-parmesan chicken and split the raspberry mousse for dessert. Very flavorful and just the right amount of food. We were satisfied, but not uncomfortably full. The cocktails were great too and very reasonably priced. The decor and ambiance is very nice as well. It's clean, warm and softly lit, but not stuffy. The only down side was that there were a few times when my water glass was empty."

  • "Winberie's is our go to restaurant. If we want good food close to home, it's a favorite spot. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. This restaurant has some of THE BEST French Onion Soup that I've ever had, which was my choice that night. No main entree for me, my daughter ate an always fresh salad. I love taking/meeting friends and family to Winberie's."

  • "The dining room is cozy, but we were sitting in the front room and it was pretty chilly every time the door opened. The service was friendly and prompt, but my pasta dish was pretty bland."

  • "There were 3 members in our group and we all enjoyed iur Christmas celebration together. We ordered the chicken special, tilapia Rockefeller, and a spicy Cajun macaroni dish. Our food was served hot and was flavorful and tasty. My son ordered the Cajun dish and said for him it could have been spicier! We came expecting great food and a relaxed atmosphere and we were not disappointed. We had a $30 monteray Chardonnay and my son had a fat tire beer. We did not order appetizers or salads. They offer a little bit of some thin' for dessert which is smaller in size and price. We got the sweet potato cheesecake and enjoyed it! Our entire bill was a little over a $100. This is one of our favorite local places to go."
