My only negative comment was with the service. Our appetizer and salads came to the table very quickly. We had barely began eating our salads when the server brought our main course. We had to ask him to return them to the kitchen to keep them warm while we enjoyed our salads. Went there for a birthday celebration, our waitress Kylene was probably the best server I have ever had. Her timing in bringing our drinks, and everything in between receiving our dinner was spot on perfect. It was as if she anticipated our every need prior to us even thinking of it. Highly recommend this restaurant. We were seated upstairs in practically an all glass room, made you feel as if you were in a tree house. Then entire staff from the gentlemen who fill your water glass to hostess at the door were so incredibly mannerly. A refreshing treat as compared to most places. GO you won't be disappointed.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AManniversary dinnerOur children gave us a gift certificate at Christmas for the Willow. This young couple do nothing but fine dining. They will not do any chain restaurants. We didn't have any idea where it was as we are from the south hills and you know we never cross the bridge HA HA. we found it with great ease. The place was not crowded but again it was on a Sunday, It was our 40th wedding anniversary and we certainly had a wonderful dinner. I believe our waiter's name was Tyler and he was very attentive and explained things and great for customer service. THe food was wonderful, and the selection was great. The desert menu was alittle limited as two were unavailable. I didn't know what to expect as I hadn't heard much about this place before. I was pleasantly surprised. We had Kylene as a waitress and she did a great job. The food was amazing. I had the twin filets, and my gf had a vegetarian dish. I don't eat Veggies, but hers was delicious too! The dining area was a little louder than I would have preferred, but it was still good. We have always been pleased with service, food and menu, although this time we didn't find Duck on the menu except as a small plate. We found the downstairs dining area with its wooden floors and view of Patio informal and a little noisy as the room filled up. Although the room was (3 tables) intimate enough. The place was very empty so it was quiet and serene. I had the soup of the day (chicken with veggie) and a burger without a bun that was topped with cheddar, onion rings, pork belly, and some kind of bbq sauce. The food was absolutely delicious, as was the Argentinean Malbec. For dessert the poached pear with marscapone and basil was delightful. The food is always creative and first-rate. As per usual, the food was outstanding and our server Kaylee was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and helped provide an all around pleasant experience. One of the things I've always liked about Willow (aside from a great menu) is the quality of service and Kaylee certainly did not disappoint.
