Crabcake divinity. BBQ scallops. Lobster sandwich (lobster sandwich?!!). And on and on. Willi's food is NOT boring. In fact it's more than averagely imaginative. And tapas is a great way to eat seafood. Like adding play to food. Then add a side of wine (it's in the wine country after all). Add a sunny Sunday afternoon and we're trolling for one sensory ahhhh after ahnother. Ambience is fine, bar room is a little noisy - dining room isn't. For desert take a stroll and drop in at one of the other 42 restaurants in town for a gewurtztraminer and cheese plate. Dairy is the County's second largest industry right behind vino. It honestly was the best dinner we have ever had. Every bite was delicious and we couldn't wait to order our next small plate. We had the flatbread, calamari, oysters...fresh fresh fresh...lamb (to die for!) bacon wrapped scallops, lobster roll and baby ribs. Shared the creme brûlée with raspberry crush for dessert and coffee. I had a cocktail, my husband had a glass of wine and two beers. We tipped 28% and walked out the door for $165. Very reasonable for everything we had and the QUALITY! The service was EXCELLENT, fun and hip atmosphere, can't wait to go back.
