Located just North of the town square in downtown Healdsburg, Old Havana meets the Wine Country at Willi’s Seafood & Raw Bar. The warm and vibrant decor invite you in while the extensive list of small plates and the fun, eclectic drink menu make you feel right at home. The small plates menu is designed for sharing and features items ranging from New England Style “Rolls,” tuna tartare and ceviches to Latin inspired skewers. The bar is known for its specialty cocktail list featuring Mojitos, Raspberry Lemon Drops and Pomatinis. Willi's has earned a reputation as a great wine country destination, open since the fall of 2003. Patio dining is available. Note: Reservations NOT accepted Friday, Saturday & Sunday Nights.Continued

  • "Enjoyed great meal at Willi's this week. Tried several small plates - hanger steak skewer, Ahi tuna, cheese dip w/ chorizo, and bacon wrapped scallops. Scallops were the favorite, but everything was prepared perfectly and so tasty! Save room for chocolate cake dessert."

  • "The place is like an appetizer dream. We've been her a few times, it's nice to fine outside, weather permitting. It is very loud inside. A couple appetizers were a little inconsistent versus the previous visits. This time the pork belly wasn't as crisp so it seemed pretty fatty, and there weren't pea sprouts in anything that we ordered-maybe they were out. Other than that, the server was great and very helpful. My daughter still enjoys the oysters."

  • "Most recently, we arrived for our reservation 2 hours early but were seated quickly, although they were busy. We were not very adventurous this time, so we skipped the raw bar, but we really enjoyed the spinach salad, the crabcake, and the filet of sole."

We had various raw bar items (scallop crudo, oysters) as well as veggies, cooked fish, and the lamb skewers and liked everything. Being wine country, there were of course good drink options, including many wines by the glass and a well-priced bottle of champagne that we enjoyed. Good service, nice atmosphere, and probably would have been lovely to eat outside if the weather was better."

  • "had the lamb and fish almadine - it was really great - thesmall plateconcept isreally great as sharing is primary .... seemed that the help was extremely busy holding everything together but hard to get attention - this is wine country and you should offer corkage fee...it may havebeen there but I don't remember seeing it............. overall, a very good place to bring fiance who enjoyed the meal very much............. essentially a good experience.... yur website good be more focused on the Healdsburg Restauraunt and you should get some more help for the "floor".."

  • "This restaurant was choosen over so many great options in HB to entertain out of town guests. The food did not disapoint, excellent as always fresh and fabulous. The waitstaff was inatentive, short, he walked away before our entire party ordered drinks! He never checked in again. Several different people came and dropped off food w such little fanfare, the busser was the best part of the service.We chose to leave for our after dinner drinks and desserts. I was embarrased telling my foodie friends how great it would be."

My only complaint is the things we've had are so good, its hard to try new things. Go to Willi's if you plan to be anywhere near Healdsburg."

  • "Willi's is outstanding, and consistently so. Once again, it was the highlight of our Healdsburg getaway. This was our third visit in the last year and a half, and we've tried several different plates. From starters to desserts, we have yet to order a menu item that isn't simply delicious and beautifully presented. Service is friendly, outgoing and very accommodating. Decor is modern, dark and comfortable, with the outdoor seating and heaters a great alternative."

  • "Great food as always and probably the best and freshest selection of oysters in the North Bay.Ordering tapas style means you get to sample more kinds of dishes.All were great.The dessert - banana split - was awesome,although I do recommend subbing chocolate ice cream for the vanilla.Nothing wrong with vanilla but chocolate goes better with peanut butter mousse - just ask the Reese's people."

  • "The food is always exceptional at Willi's and we love introducing friends to it. This lunch was marred by two tiny dogs who exploded into hysteria four times when other dogs walked by. The owners acted like it wasn't happening. Management did nothing. They should comped their lunch and asked them to leave, or at the very least, moved them to a table away from the patio entrance. Those dogs disrupted the meals and conversations at every table."

The entire menu is small plates, perfect for sharing, with plenty of salads and vegetables as well as seafood and meats. It took so long for our server to come back to ask if we wanted it we just went ahead and asked for our check instead. We have been here several times though and will still be back."

  • "We went to Willi's mid-afternoon, with reservation, but on a tight schedule. We were seated immediately. I was anxious to let server know we had a tight schedule, but getting someone's attention was difficult. Employees walk by without giving eye contact. We sat for 8 minutes without being even acknowledged; finally got some water poured. After 12 minutes, a server finally arrived. The restaurant was far from full. This is a huge pet peeve for me and there are better alternatives in Healdsburg. Good meal once we got going."

  • "I found Willis on Open Table and based on the reviews its what we chose. Willis didn't disappoint in any wAy. We are from Florida and get our fair share of seafood, but this was something special! The Calamari was so fresh and had a nice flavorful sauce - best I've had. We also ordered the meaty crab cake, fried clams where the clam was not buried in batter. The Ahi tuna was incredible and even the sourdough bread was a toasted delight. We finished the evening with a banana split like no other and then ordered a second! Great beer and wine wine list. A MUST if you are in the area - don't cheat yourself out of this one!"

  • "The dining style - small plates to share is such a nice way to sample several delicious items at Willi's. Our only disappointment was in the roasted mushroom dish, and we should have asked for specifics from our server before ordering; we thought it would be a stuffed, roasted mushroom style dish and were quite surprised when we got a small skillet full of what were basically sautéed mushrooms. They would have been a wonderful accompaniment to a beef dish, but all we ordered were seafood and vegetable plates. We felt a top-notch server would have steered us elsewhere with our order, although in every other way our service was superb."

Wine, cocktails, and service are top of the line, and the prices are very moderate. If you need a little something to hold you over until the next meal, or walk into the restaurant starving, you can tailor a perfect lunch of dinner at Willi's."

My only suggestion is to just order one thing at a time, don't order your second item until the first one arrives, otherwise it all comes at once and because the kitchen is pretty fast, your dinner could be finished before the wine and you feel a little rushed. But we have learned and enjoy this place every time we visit. Don't miss the flash fried calamari, it is THE best!"

  • "We stopped at Willi's on our way to a Jordan Winery tasting. The food was great - especially the garlic bread. The wine list was wonderful and our waitress helped us choose a nice match. When asked where the locals buy wine, we were told Big John's.....but we later discrovered the Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, where they carry an amazing selection of liquor, beer, and local wines (including 2009 Jordan Cabernet Sauv) . The wines we purchased at BB were 25% less than we paid at Big Johns and the winery itself. Go to lunch at Willi's - then go to the Bottle Barn...before you go to the winery. That way you'll make your money go the farthest."

  • "We had stopped in at Willi's the last time we visited Healdsburg and wanted to come back on this trip. Willi's did not disappoint!! The standout dish was the green bean salad with smoked trout. Fantastic!! I could go back and just order that dish with the sourdough bread and be happy! Calamari had a glaze, which I did not love, but I did not read the description closely before ordering. Crab cake was good too."

We were also surprised and happy to find a Dry Creek Chenin Blanc (one of our fave varietals) to accompany our meal."
