We waited 20 minutes for an outdoor table despite a reservation, but it was worth it. In the meantime we had a drink at the bar. Denver is big on Happy hours, where you can get drinks half price from 4-7. Food was great, 3 had red snapper & 1 steak. Portions were good size, not too much. Would have preferred snapper w/o breaded crust, but it was good. Server was very attentive and friendly. We ordered a salad to share and a dessert to share. The food prices her are on the high side. Not an inexpensive evening for 4 people, but worth it to sit outside and people watch on 16th St. Very interesting assortment of characters go by. The salmon special topped with a chorizo salsa on top of the mushroom rissoto was absolutely delicious. The Atlantic char topped with crab was equally as good. This was one of the best meals by far I've had. It has consistently been a good experience with superb seafood, good service (sometimes outstanding, like last visit) and simple ambience. The recent increase in its prices have made it one of the more expensive downtown restaurants. Entree portions are large. The clam chowder needed a pinch of salt, but was wonderful and the baked potato was not overcooked and very tasty. I was not dissappointed with my choice and me and my girlfriend had a wonderful night. The prices are fair but make sure you notice crab is Market price so it will vary. Even that even thing tasted wonderful. I recommend the seafood pasta. The clams are to die for. The only negative was we had a reservation early (5:00 to get to a concert on time) there was no hostess at the front, the bartender hollered at us from behind the bar and then came and seated us, he was our waiter the whole time, we told him we had a reservation but he never checke us in, we got a no show from Opentable which I think was fixed.
