"William Douglas Steakhouse was awesome!!! The service was great, food was great. Can't say enough about this place.
My wife and I both got steak (obviously). My wife had the filet mignon and she was able to cut it with her fork! She said it was one of the best meal she had ever had. I got the porterhouse and it was equally delicious. It was a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny. We were seated in one of the private dining areas, which added to the ambiance of the meal."

"New bread is excellent as are the baked potatoes and creamed spinach. While my husband regards the filet mignon as the best in the area, the jumbo shrimp is often disappointing as it is not always jumbo. Ice cream is Bassett's which contains high fructose corn syrup and, therefore, not that of a quality restaurant. So, while my husband LOVES William Douglas, I do not."

"Food is good. What was disappointing was that in the steak category there were additions to the steak and an additional fee was added - i.e. to add "oscar" was an additional $15. It would be just as easy and comparable in price to go to Capital Grille."

"I am a regular customer. I have in the past recommended William Douglas to friends and even recommended to my company for a dinner. I even have purchased gift cards for friends for William Douglas. My visit on Saturday started out alright but after a large group came in and seated next to me I was ignored the rest of the evening. My waitress was more concerned for the group than a single diner. I will never return and will also let all of my friends know about my experience that evening."

"Service was great. Very good waiter and drinks were kept full. Excellent wine. Had what was perhaps the best crab cake I've ever eaten. Very nice atmosphere. My only problem was with the lamb chops. They lacked flavor. Despite the gravy and blue cheese crust the lamb chop still fell short."

"Food was good, not great. Not a large selection. Chips and strings appetizer was comparable to something you'd get at Friendly's. The mixed drinks weren't anything we'd ever order again. Server suggested I butterfly my filet if I wanted it well done so that it wouldn't char. I agreed. It came back butterflied and charred. Crab meat in the Oscar was huge and delicious. Cowboy ribeye, medium was delicious. "Homemade" lobster mac & cheese tasted like Kraft mac and cheese from a box. Couldn't find the lobster. Creme brûlée was amazing. For over $200 for two people I'd much rather revisit Capital Grille"
