The walleye was extremely flavorful and quite a unique dish. The filet was the most perfectly cooked filet I have ever had. It was so tender it seemed as though I could cut it without a knife. Even the complimentary bread they provide was excellent. Crisp and soft, and the crust was not the least bit tough. The dark chocolate mousse dessert was rich and delicious without being too filling. Our host was very friendly while we waited for service due to the large crowd of people waiting to be seated for this holiday brunch. It was our first holiday dinner here but much more quieter and peaceful here during weekday lunches. Service is much better during the weekday. Food is excellent here. There could be some more choices in the dessert section. The service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding. My boyfriend ordered the porterhouse, which was cooked to perfection. I had the whitefish, which was coated (not slathered) with a delicious but not-too-rich cream sauce and made with a unique combination of ingredients that continuously surprised my palate. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being overly familiar or doting, and the gentleman who recommended my drink was right on the money. To top off an already wonderful experience, my boyfriend was given a complimentary piece of tiramisu. We were a bit boisterous but he handled us with patience, just like a pro. He was so personable and attentive; when we return we will definitely ask for him. The food was delicious--the new england clam chowder was the best thing i personally had that night--a little different (a touch of heat in it) but truly the WOW factor. Wildwood is a bright spot for fine dining in the far western metro area.
