Diner Reviews

  • "Wildflowers is a great restaurant for adults looking for a peaceful meal. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The food is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing."

  • "Friday night is date night for my boyfriend and I and we were looking for a nice quiet place to have dinner. We have been to the steakhouse previously and enjoyed our dinner there but Wildflowers was much more intimate. The staff was excellent and the food special which was trout with crab cakes was wonderful. I would definitely Recommend to anyone looking to have a special night with a loved one."

  • "We had the opportunity to visit for dinner prior to seeing a show on an especially busy Friday evening. The staff were exceptionally accommodating as we had to change the reservation time several times prior to arrival due to transportation complications. We had read several reviews prior to visiting on various websites warning of slow service times, so we were a bit nervous arriving only two hours prior to the show. I can tell you with absolute certainty, do not trust every negative review you read. Our total service time for a three course meal, amuse and intermediates, was only 1 hour and 50 minutes. The food was prepared well (I would say worthy of it's 4 diamond status), the service was warm and friendly, and we left happy."

  • "Although Wildflowers is too far from Long Island for me to be a regular, I can assure you that it is a truly wonderful special occasion venue."
    Dined on 4/10/2014
  • "The staff was very pleasant from the first greeting to getting our coats when leaving and every encounter in-between. We did not ask for any special table, but the manager offered to give us a quite booth. Since this was a special occasion dinner, we took her up on the offer. Our menus were personalized. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs without being over bearing. All the food was first class, severed to our liking. Also the manager retrieved our coats and requested the valet to get our car before we left the restaurant. There was no part of the evening that could have been better. This is not a low cost restaurant, but between the food and service, it was well worth the price. We will be back soon!"

  • "Came here for my cousin's birthday for lunch and it was fabulous. Such a nice setting and the menu is wonderful. Highly recommend for that special occasion!"

  • "Located at Turning Stone casino and resort--not necessarily a recommendation for finer dining as I have often found in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. However, all of the right ingredients came together here during a recent business dinner I hosted here. One of the best Dover Sole presentations i have had and my companions' meals were all very good. From start to finish this was 4-5 stars throughout. Excellent service topped everything off. Value for the price was very high."

  • "My husband and I had dinner at Wildflowers while on a weekend getaway to Turning Stone. We'd heard great things about the restaurant and were not disappointed! Every bite that went into our mouths was exquisite, the atmosphere and pacing of the meal was perfect, and the staff was outstanding. I do not exaggerate when I say that our experience was on par with an upscale NYC restaurant and simply put, we cannot wait to come back again!"

  • "The Wildflowers experience starts in the Lodge, a beautiful building with an incredible ambiance, accented by native American art. The view from the main area is spectacular in all seasons, day and night. The restaurant is very cosy. The service is personable and excellent in all regards. And last but not least, the food is out of this world!"

  • "I have had the pleasure of fine dining throughout the U.S. and overseas. This restaurant, its service, food and ambience was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I recommend it highly - over any other restaurant in our area and we have a number of good ones."

  • "All I can say its ONE of the best restaurants my girl friend and I have eaten at in a while. That's a pretty bold statement because we are both foodies! We both truly loved this place! Definitely would go back!"

  • "Had a wonderful time with two afult kids and their significant others. Relaxing pace, but, never felt like we were waiting for our food. Service was outstanding as was the food. Not a dongle complaint from the six of us. We shared five different desserts and all were wonderful."

  • "World Class Chef, World Class Service... Why drive the 4 hours to NYC for overpriced chains by TV chefs when you can have a world class experience right here in Upstate NY?"
    Dined on 12/26/2013
  • "Everything is totally awesome and outstanding....a wonderful place for couples."

  • "The service was impeccable. The staff was generous, friendly, and appropriate. The food was well timed, the wine selection was large but not overwhelming. The pork belly was quite delicious. Prepared "Cuban" style with pickled vegetables, it was simply delightful. The cod was good but slightly bland, served with a brown butter reduction that I did not care for- luckily this was on the side. Overall I was quite pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with friends, or a romantic evening with your sweetheart. The atmosphere can accommodate many occasions."

  • "I had no idea such a place was at a casino. The ambiance was soothing both visually and audibly. Views of the gardens and pond were gorgeous. My husband and I were there for Sunday brunch. He got the steak and eggs and is still talking about how tender the steak was. And the fact that it was cooked the way he wanted. Excellent service with lots of personalized attention - although not overbearing. I shouldn't be writing this - I'd like to keep it a secret."

  • "We have celebrated three special occasions at Wildflowers. It never disappoints. Service is top notch, attentive but not overbearing. Food is exquisitely presented and wonderfully prepared. I know of no better place in all of central New York that can hold a candle to Wildflowers. From the valet park attendants, to the doorman, to the hostess and all the wait staff they are all very professional and friendly at the same time. The room is beautiful and the view is great. Intimate setting and quiet. Since it is located in the Lodge at Turning Stone, you are far from the casino and its boisterousness. Highly recommend....but it is VERY pricey!"

  • "Beautiful, very elegant, setting. Fine menu if a bit pricey. Extremely attentive staff. BUT, why must we endure staff who do not understand that "you" and "we" are not the same? Are we having wine tonight? Do we need anything else at this table? How are we tonight? Every such inquiry is an insult, which most guests are too polite to mention. The food was carefully prepared from excellent ingredients and beautifully presented."

  • "wonderful evening. They spread the meal out very slowly, yet appropriately. The server was spot on each and every time. Such a wonderful experience. If you have enough time before a show at the events center this is a spectacular restaurant to visit. Allow yourself a good 2 hours before show time. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, the wine was delicious. All in all.....well priced for the quality of the food and ambiance of the dining room."

  • "The restaurant was removed from the hustle and bustle of the Casino so it was quiet and upscale. The food was great. The Pork belly appetizer is their signature and now I know why. It was fantastic. We had the Duck Confit and it too was just great. Service was very good as well."

  • "I would recommend the food, it is excellent. I have one complaint, they could not find my reservation. I came a long way and had it been busy I would have been out of luck and very angry."

  • "This was our first time at Wildflowers and we were very happy. The food combinations taste amazing and the presentation is equally impressive, also the staff is 5 star. They can tell you anything about your choices and were very accommodating with a gluten free diet. They even printed up a special GF menu for my spouse. Also they have an excellent wine list. We will most certainly be back."

  • "My best friend and I alway plan a trip here once a year for girls weekend and finish the trip with dinner at Wildflowers. This is always such a special treat. We know from the time we are greeted at the door till the time we leave that we are going to be well taken care of. I am so impressed with the staff and how wonderful they make our whole dinning experience. The food is out of this world and they will accommodate whatever special requests you may have as long as they have the supplies. Going to wildflowers is a trip we continue to make as part of our girls weekend. Just an incredible experience!!!"

  • "Excellent service, every employee was very nice and cordial, restaurant manager came over to see how everything was an ask some relevant questions about our stay and reason for visiting. Food was excellent and filling! Great portions and we were offered a bonus small smoothie and chocolate chip scone, which were excellent! My wife and I were so full we turned down a very nice offer of a dessert menu item in celebration of our anniversary. Will definitely be going back! Dinner next time..."

  • "We had a lovely experience. There was a boisterous twosome when we arrived but, they were handled delicately, expertly by management and we were treated royally. The two women diners were very rude."
