From the warm greeting at the door, to our outstanding server and bus help, all service was exceptional. Mike did an outstanding and memorable job as our server. His description of the menu was without the customary pause and/or referrence to notes. He spoke so intelligently on individual menu items, not simply suggesting higher-priced items. The wonderful dinner menu and wine list was a bit pricier than we expected, but oh so certainly worth it! I had been there a few times before as it is in my neighborhood. Food and service was very good. A bit higher priced than what I am used to paying but it was a special occasion. Also my Dad wanted raw oysters and this was the only place in the neighborhood that served raw oysters. I would eat here every week if I could afford it. The fish was great then and the quality has remained the same. We had a very friendly waiter, but everyone was there to help making sure our dining experience was enjoyable. We had their salad with beets, apples and greens with a light vinegarette dressing. It had these delicious razcherries which is a dried fruit made in Arizona. At home, we have had them shipped for a special treat in our salads. My Husband had the Chilean Sea Bass which can only be described as amazing. My Grouper was lightly coated with breadcrumbs and seared in the pan. It was served in a broth/butter sauce. Not salty but perfectly cooked. I was not disappointed. The bread was fresh and warm from the oven. The drinks were well made and potent. And everyone enjoyed their food. One of my friends sent me a text message the next day indicating that she was still in awe of her salmon and one of the scallops I shared. The Godiva chocolate ganache cake was exquisite – not too heavy, not drowning in a super syrupy sauce – but light with adequate, but not overwhelming richness. The service was top, ask for Robbie. The noise level was just right. Some background but you could easily talk around the table. The food stole the show. Three out of the four of us had fish. The copper river salmon, sea bass and group were all incredible. My sister had a NY strip and we all had a bite. If you are looking for high quality seafood this is the place. It is huge, and not even close to ones at the Ocenaire in San Diego. The service was second to none. Waitors were dressed in clean Tuxedos. I had the barbeque salmon. It was perfectly seared on the outside and still salmon on the inside. My side was brussels sprouts which were also tastefully done. She had a type of light, flaky, buttery fish with asparagus. For desert we had the pineappe upside-down cake. Seriously detracts from the enjoyment of the good food! Additionally, although the restaurant is handicapped accessible, it is difficult. My mother (96) uses a walker and the length of the walk from the front of the restaurant to the back and then up a ramp was almost impossible. The seafood is always great. It is a delight to have dinner on their patio watching the people and traffic on Camelback Road. The issue was the food. It was good, nothing bad or horrible, but nothing popped with the same caliber as the rest of the restaurant. We ordered: Crab Cake(good), Chowder Soup(runny and just ok) the market special(Washington Trout over asparagus with crab)(great trout, rest ok),their signature dish(Sea Bass over spinach with suace - cannot remember the name)(bland) and pinnaple upside down cake (AMAZING)

The place had a busy, fun vibe. We had the salmon and the chilean sea bass and will definitely have them both again. For sides we had Brussels sprouts and the mac and cheese. They were fabulous together. We ordered large sides and figured we would have leftovers. Nope. For the perfect end to the meal, we had the pineapple upside down cake.
