Wildfire - Tysons Galleria
Not badWith good food and a reasonable noise level, this was an interesting first time for us. Service was superb.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWas a Great Experence!
WeWas a Great Experence!
We will return we had a party of 6 for a Bus. Lunch6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food and ServiceWe dined at Wildfire on Tuesday evening with a friend from out of town. Ian was our server and did a great job of taking care of us.
We all selected different entrees, prime rib, lemon pepper chicken and filet. The sides were mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and wild rice. Everyone was happy with their meals. We did not order appetizers or desserts as the quantity of the entree was plenty. In fact, I took home half of the lemon pepper chicken and half of the mashed potatoes for our son. We will return again!6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways consistentFood and service always consistent . Prices very reasonable if they have the prime rib hash on Sundays it's a must order6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMbest cornbread in townMy family loves to meet here for a delicioys meal The chef's specials are really good and the main menu offers enough variety to please the whole family. The service is good and well timed. We keep coming back!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAll greatIt was our first time, my son's birthday, the service was amazing she made us feel like home very friendly and very knowledgable. The food was great too we all loved it and the generous amount in plates was surprising, you don't see that in other restaurants. The price was very affordable and worth every penny.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMKnows the lunch crowdHave been to Wildfire for dinner a few times, so choose it to meet a colleague for lunch. Was impressed they remembered I sometimes have a gluten free guest, though they were not with me this time. The food came quickly, which was helpful during our limited time for lunch, though we were not rushed. Also, we needed something to write on and were glad a pad of paper was already on the table. The food itself was, as usual, excellent. My colleague enjoyed the halibut special in particular. Thanks for adjusting to make our lunch as enjoyable as our dinners.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat crab cake!First time at Wildfire.......good overall. Crabcake was excellent, fries were not so great.....they must have been the 'bottom of the barrel'. They should not have served them that way. The chicken salad was also good.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMReally GoodI took my wife there for her birthday. She has celiac disease (can't eat gluten). They had an amazing gluten free menu. The main hosts and waitress we had were really really good. I am just surprised by the entire experience. We had a great time. Great portions. I don't normally write any online reviews, so that should say something special regarding the experience we had.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat lunch choiceThis was a very good location for lunch. Easy to get to, quick service, great food. It is a little loud.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWildfire a hitFood and service are great. Wildfire is one of my favorites at the price point. You'd normally have to pay much more for the quality of food you get there. Discovered Monday night has 1/2 off wine list which was an added bonus. Everyone at our table indicated their food was excellent.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for brunchWe were looking for a place for brunch that served later than 1 pm. We went to Wildfire and really enjoyed our experience. Even though the room was full and there were several large parties, one could still carry on a conversation in a normal voice easily. The food was great, The pancake special of the day was bananas foster and they were something else. My wife had the eggs benedict and she was quite impressed as the eggs were cooked correctly, runny yolks, rather than overcooked like most places. Has some interesting wine choices also. Look forward to returning for dinner as I understand that onion soup is excellent. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive with out being intrusive. A lovely experience all in all.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMNICE QUIET BRUNCH - GOOD BACKGROUNDNICE QUIET BRUNCH - GOOD BACKGROUND MUSIC - NO PROBLEM CARRYING ON A CONVERSATION IN A NORMAL TONE OF VOICE.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Steak jointOverall, my wife and I enjoyed our first dinner at Wildfire. We both had the Ribeye/Shrimp Skewer special. The shrimp was outstanding and the steaks were very flavorful. My ribeye was prepared well, but, it was a little thin cut for my taste and had a lot of grissle. My wife's was really good. The wine was an excellent pairing and the dessert trio was a nice finish. If not for my steak, I would have given the food 5 stars. The prices are a little high, but, that's common for the Galleria mall in Tyson's Corner.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGluten FreeThis restaurant has the largest gluten free menu I have ever seen! I have never been to a place where I actually got to eat the appetizer bread. This is my new favorite restaurant and I recommend it to all of my gluten free/celiac people out there! They also have a take away menu.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service as usual.Excellent service as usual. We took our son for his 40th birthday and we had a wonderful time.
Thanks5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner with FriendsThe food is always outstanding and the service was impeccable -5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing, as always...Wildfire has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I'm always impressed by the quality of the food and service. I love that I feel like I'm walking into a 1940's Miami dinner club. I've come here for several special occasions (birthdays, graduation, date night) and always leave very satisfied.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ServiceService at Wildfire is always top notch. While the restaurant is a little noisy for business meetings (which was the purpose of our lunch), the service is always top quality. And, the cornbread is probably the best I've ever had.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary DinnerOur experience was good when we arrived and went to great by the end of the evening. I asked for a booth and we were seated in one overlooking the main dining area. The food and wine choices were appetizing and satisfying. The service was first class. The biggest surprise was the cost which was moderate. We will go back again and again. Highly recommend..5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMHave to try it!First went to Wildfire in Chicago, and was in love with the steak and ambiance. So glad we have this fine dining in Tysons. Good for special occasion- but comfortable to just grab a nice meal. Not pretentious at all. - suitable for school aged kids and up....8 yr. old loved the kids filet and mash, 15 yr old enjoyed her steak as well!
We plan to go more often, they have some good specials and events we want too try out as well.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb food, service and style.Superb food, service and style. A winner every time!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome!I'll keep it short and sweet: the food is delicious, the setting is toned down yet alive, and the service it friendly.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat steaks and I love theGreat steaks and I love the Dark and Stormy cocktail5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGluten free and flavorfulAn entire FULL size gluten-free menu including pasta and in house made bread selections. This is a no-compromise place on flavor for gluten-free individuals.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful DiningWe enjoy this restaurant so much. It is a great place to get together as a group or just as a couple. The booths provide a quiet atmosphere and easy level talking. The food is great and the drinks there are even better.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers DayWe gathered the entire family to celebrate Mothers Day. This is one of the best restaurants in the Northern Va. area for a get together. No waiting as the Open Table Reservation got us seated immediately, even though it was a very busy time. The meal was delicious as we had steaks all around. All were cooked to perfection and seasoned to temp the palate. Dessert was served, which we all split two chocolate lava cakes, YUM!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways eat well and receiveAlways eat well and receive awesome service. The food is wonderful starting with the cornbread YUM!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day Brunch SuccessMy mother chose Wildfire because a friend recommended it to her. I made the reservation, looked over the menu and was excited for our outing. I was ready for the Bacon Pancakes from the brunch menu, unfortunately, since it was a special occasion they weren't serving this dish! (Don't worry I had such a nice time I will be back to get them.) The service was wonderful. We arrived about 15 mins earlier than our reservation, but we were seated right away.
Great food, great service, nice ambiance. Will definitely return!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day evening DinnerWe choose to eat in the evening rather than at a typical holiday brunch time. We made reservation for 7:30 pm and was seated promptly. This proved to be a smart choice the dining room was about two thirds full and not as tight. As usual we enjoyed everything about WildFire, the food, wine list and desert the wait staff was excellent. I ordered the Porterhouse Lamb chops, they were very flavorful and cooked as requested. The Mother's Day selection of wine from Benzinger Vineyards ( Cabernate) was excellent, we had two bottles one each of 2008 and 2009 vintage.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWaitressThe food is excellent as usual. The service would have been much better if the 18% gratuity was not kicked in automatically. I believe the waitress we had provided poor service as she only came to the table once. It was other servers that were in the area who after asking provided us with more water. The wine list is great, but disapointed with this visit. My last visit was superb! Also the air conditioning provided too much cold air and made the room uncomfortable.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a large group and theyWe had a large group and they were very accommodating. Many of us had the daily and weekly specials which were all fantastic. We had not only a small baby but a birthday and our server was great at accommodating all our needs.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Evening OutOn our most recent visit to Wildfire we were very pleased. The service was excellent and the food divine. This is one of our favorite restaurants. They are always busy on weekend nights, but food and service has always been top notch and very organized and quick. Reservations are a must at this establishment.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMService is great & fantastic foodService is fantastic! We were there and the one meal took a little bit to come out because they forgot to put chicken on the salad so they comped that person entree! Definitely made up for. Food is amazing, the Chicken club, steaks and the mac and cheese side is definitely my favorite.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently GoodVery good bar and wine list, love the corn bread which is served rather than brad, and everything we have ordered at Wildfire has been well prepared and presented.. The staff are excellent.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat place to dinneour family enjoyed the overall environment and service was the best part of our experience. We did not care much for the F.fries,
you can do better.Everything else were great.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTastyFood was great. Service was quick and on point. Great lunch experience.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and waiter was excellentI travel close to 3 hours to enjoy a meal here. Both the food and service is second to none. They simply did an outstanding job!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMIt is relaxed and we wereIt is relaxed and we were in a booth that was very quiet and conducive to conversation. Most of the restaurant seems very noisy. Scallops were very good but too much sauce. Roasted vegetables were very good. Cocktails are good and the bar scene is very lively.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBen Is Wonderful! We dined with an out of town friend for her birthday - Ben took fabulouos care of us - she is awesome!!!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place for Date NightThis is our second time dinning there. The first time we went was on our one year Anniversary and enjoyed it so much that we thought we should bring the kids. They have a great kids menu and the staff has been very polite and attentive. This is one of our new favorite restaurants.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for gluten free diningWildfire is an excellent combination of attentive service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Wildfire also has a separate gluten free menu which is an added bonus for those with celiac.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time visitWe went with another couple to celebrate two of our birthdays. I had mad the reservation several days ahead, and they even called to confirm. What I was not expecting that in this large restaurant, was to be seated in the bar area. We had a nice large table for four, but thought that was odd. We did not say anything, they were busy.
We had a good dinner. Two of us got the special halibut and was pleased, but my husbands steak w/blue cheese was the winner. My advice "get the steal at a steakhouse!" I will return and order the steak.
The martinis were perfect, and the wine list had a wine we love that we never see anywhere.
So all in all I will go back, get the steak, and not sit in the bar area.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMlunchHave eaten here many times and am never disappointed.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMNice restaurantWe had a group of 9 and the restaurant was accomodating in putting us in a more secluded and quiet room so we could sit and talk during our meal. The waiter also turned down the music in our room at our request so we could hear better. The restaurant can get a bit loud but we were able to work around that easily with our requests. The food was great and there was quite a selection on the menu. We definitely will go back again.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a very enjoyable familyWe had a very enjoyable family outing to celebrate my wife's birthday. We originally requested reservations for 8 but it quickly grew to 11 and Wildfire was more than accomodating. As ususal, great service and good food. We will definitely return in the future.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the guest in my partyOne of the guest in my party was a bit disappointed that the brunch menu did not offer grits or a (white) gravy to pair with his initial menu choice. As a result, I don't expect he would return for a brunch. Otherwise, the food and ambiance was nice.
Thank you.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my second diningThis was my second dining experience great place to dine.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDecent food, very informalThis was the first time everything went well at this restaurant, so things are potentially looking up here. We all noted, however, an oddity that perhaps encapsulates this restaurant. The food was tepid. In all of our visits, maybe 10-15, the food has never arrived hot. We have no idea why, and while a couple of times we have had to return it as cold, it's usually acceptable, but the establishment cannot seem to deliver a hot serving.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first trip andThis was our first trip and we enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant. I tried the filet sampler recommended by the waitress, with the peppercorn, parmigiana and mushroom toppings (one one each). I really liked the peppercorn and parmigiana. My husband had the prime rib, which was slightly overcooked for a medium-rare request, but it was good. Waitress was excellent - and so was the Wildfire Chardonnay (I am not a wine connoisseur ...) We enjoyed the cookie desert, which was complimentary for our first visit. We'll definitely go back and try some of their other menu options.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
