Diner Reviews
  • "the medallions were thin and therefore could not be cooked to M-R. the garlic addition to it was thicker than the piece of meat. Very unexciting meal."

  • "Love the food here. The steaks are amazing and the cornbread they serve is excellent."

  • "Very friendly staff wonderful dining experience reasonable prices and specials. This is good facility for families large groups and parties"

  • "The service was excellent. The beet salad, calamari, scallops, au gratin potatoes, ribs, and lamb chops were all very good. The crab cakes were just okay. The only issue was the steak was small and over cooked. I asked for a medium and received well done steak. As far as value, I think they are a little over-priced."

  • "I enjoy wildfire as it has a good mix of meat choices and great desert tray which is great if you have a sweet palate for after dinner dining. The ambience is excellent and service is quite nice"

  • "The food was well plated and delicious. would recommned any of the trios listed on the menu. I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes."

  • "I have been to the Wildfire a few times and it never disappoints. There is a wide variety of great dishes to choose from, the wine list is impressive, and the service is quite excellent. Whether it is a business dinner with colleagues and business partners, a romantic date, or a group dinner with friends and family, Wildfire seems to fit every occasion and the mood."

  • "The restaurant had great food. I definitely would recommend this to someone who is looking for a nice place to eat either lunch or dinner and is looking for some good quality food. The portions are a good size. If you are hungry and want some great quality food Wildfire is the place to go."

  • "I celebrated my birthday by dining here with my husband. The restaurant was jam packed on a Wednesday evening and the noise level was loud (it's a big restaurant). However, that did not stop us from enjoying our meal. The waiter was excellent and very attentive. The food tasted amazing - I had the filet mignon with a blue cheese crust and my husband got the crabcakes...both were divine! The only drawbacks were the mac & cheese (not cheesy enough for me) and the wait time for our food (I guess that can be attributed to the fact that the restaurant was so busy and packed). This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back!"

  • "All the food was great: filet mignon, nut-crusted fish, coconut-crusted shrimp. There is an excellent gluten-free menu and they bring gluten-free bread, which is very good. There is also a gluten-free chocolate desert (not sugar free though). The staff was very helpful. We needed a table with access for someone with a walker and they instantly accommodated us. We have come to this restaurant several times in the last couple of years and it is always top notch."

  • "2nd time to Wildfire and the food was just as great as the first time. They do excellent filets and very nice mixed drinks. Made an 8pm reservation and got a waiter that just gave us very short words and eye rolls. We definitely noticed. This service was very different than the first visit...hopefully it's a one off and not a consistent problem."

  • "Perfect service and great variety of food. The atmosphere very romantic and elegant. The food was of fresh and season to perfection."

  • "The crab cakes were baked not grilled or broiled & had a lot of filler. I would not recommend them."

  • "We have eaten there many times, but only one person in our party of four had a good meal on Sat. night. Two had the cedar plank salmon which was undercooked. I had lemon chicken breast that was very dry. All-in-all, I would not return for dinner any time soon. Lunch has always been good--corn bread is wonderful--but dinner was disappointing."

  • "This is a steak place in a mall. After entering through the mall and walking through the entire restaurant to check in and be seated, we were steered on a reverse course back the way we came and were seated close to the door, where we had entered. After that it was the familiar pattern of a barely audible (over the swing music) waiter describing specials to us. This was so rote that he sped through the recitation and I couldn't wait for him to finish so I could look at the menu, which had the same information in print. We ordered. He came back to double check on my wife's order. The food arrived and it was pretty good. We were subjected to frequent inquiries/interruptions about our meal. I would go back for the food but not the ambience."

  • "Our table was ready for us with a reserved sign when we got there. That was a nice touch given the crowd that was there for the World Cup soccer game."

  • "Wildfire has great food with many daily specials created by their chef. They pay great attention to their customers' preferences and any special dietary needs. When crowded, the main room gets a little noisy, but the high-back booths between the bar area & main dining room provides quiet and more private dining. Overall, this is my "go to" spot for meeting clients."

  • "I've eaten at Wildfire many times. The food is always great, but the noise level is unreal. I just wish it was quieter. It would be a romantic spot if it weren't for the noise."

  • "Arrived on time for reservations and was sat in the bar. When I make a reservation it is to dine in the actual restaurant not the bar. Then proceeded to wait 10 minutes before anyone came to talk to us. The worst was servers around us would stare at us but did nothing to assist or reassure us we would have a server. Finally was served and this man taking care of us was excellent and so sweet. Only complain about food was tempature. MR was closer to med well for both dishes and lack of flavor on the steaks."

  • "Great service, and great food. One of my favorite restaurant."

  • "Had a great dinner with friends. We were seated in one of the smaller rooms which made it easier to hear each other. Sometimes it can be loud in the main room. Drinks were good. I tried one of the specialty martinis & had the halibut with macadamia nut crust which was delicious (a special that night) for the main course. My husband liked his steak with the horseradish toping. Always enjoy coming here."

  • "Food was very good and service spot on. One of my favorates for business lunch."

  • "Service and food excellent! Consistent! One doesn't feel rushed even though they are crowded."
    Dined on 6/24/2014
  • "Don't go here and expect a quiet environment for talking. The salads are good and menu provides good choices. I think it shows best when you have a happy group that wants a high energy loud place."

  • "Our second visit in a row with a "temperature" problem. Although service was great, my food was cold. I had the Sunday special (turkey dinner), as did 3 others. Mine was cold. Not even "warm" but cold. The 3 others said theirs weren't "hot" after I sent mine back. I wasn't thrilled that they simply reheated mine. It was the special. Just make a new one. I already missed eating with everyone else, why not do a new one and do it right? I'm beginning to doubt the kitchen here. We may give them one more chance, but I'm not so sure..."

  • "The first hint that brunch wouldn't go well: I asked for a quiet table, and we were seated in the busy main dining room, even though other areas were almost empty. Within minutes, the two tables closest to us were filled with large, loud families. The meal opened with delicious cornbread but went downhill: Each entree was overdone--obviously the result of too much time under a heat lamp. The waiter asked if I wanted to take my uneaten frittata--which resembled a large hockey puck--home. Really? I noted that it was overdone and dry. We received an apology and an offer to replace it, but by then my guests had finished eating. Wildfire's dining room is attractive, and I'd love to have a good brunch experience there, but this wasn't it!"

  • "Took our friend from the Upper Peninsula of MI; she totally enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Recommend the onion soup and crab/corn bisque! Cup size is plenty. Friend raved about the plank grilled salmson. Our prime rib and petite filet were perfectly cooked to medium-pink inside. Three of us split the key lime pie-very tasty and filling. House chardonnay was flavorful and reasonable. Our room was a bit noisy but we were still able to chat. The staff was attentive and allowed us to remain talking and relaxing. Would have enjoyed eating in the open kitchen area. Will return."

  • "During our recent visit to Wildfire to celebrate my daughter's birthday we were fortunate to get the same waiter my husband had on our prior visit on Valentine's Day. Uziel, our waiter, this time and before was fantastic! He was extremely attentive and actually remembered my husband and I from Valentine's Day. We always have such a great time when we eat at Wildfire. We're never disappointed."

  • "I met my friend at Wildfire for lunch. I have been there several times, but she had never been. I think she was impressed! Fortunately, we had reservations. Even though it was a Thursday afternoon, the place was packed. We were seated timely, though, and our waiter was most accommodating. We each had a glass of wine and ordered the Mediterranean Shrimp Salad -- excellent! The grilled shrimp made it especially tasty and crunchy snow peas and soft fresh goat cheese added to the dish, make it a cut above standard fare. For dessert we shared a slice of key lime pie -- also excellent! Creamy and nice and tart."

  • "Truly a nice way to celebrate the birthday and graduation of my youngest daughter - the food is fabulous; the service is superb with an attentive waiter; ambience is so family oriented... so welcoming! Great job!"

  • "When at wildfire, you can count on an individual experience and never feel that you are eating at a chain. This restaurant is so well run, that it's a usual spot for couples or big groups."

  • "As usual, we were seated promptly and the food, drinks, and service were excellent."

  • "Again, I took a group of 3 to Wildfire which was their first time. I expected all to be delighted and pleased with the food, service, ambience and none of us were disappointed."

  • "Our first visit to Wildfire was on Father's Day for lunch. The restaurant looked great at first but then as we walked to our table I noticed a bad odor (as if tables had been wiped with a dirty dishcloth). Service was mediocre. We were able to see our prepared order on the bar ready to be delivered to us. It sat there for about 5 minutes while waiters passed by. The food was average and reasonably priced however, we don't plan to return."

  • "We had a very nice father's day brunch at Wildfire. I had crab cakes benedict; my wife had lobster benedict, and both were very good. They had a kids menu with a few choices so my children (age 4 and 2) were happy. This place is good for kids if you are going early, as we did, but it is a very nice restaurant situated inside an upscale mall; I doubt the noise would be nearly as welcome during dinnertime. Shoot, the reason I checked the noise level as moderate was because of us, but it's fairly accurate as I'm sure dinnertime would be more crowded but a quieter crowd. Going forward, this restaurant will be on our list of places to go for a nice night out when we can drop the kids off with their grandparents."

  • "Food as usual was really great. Cornbread was warm and moist. Crab Benedict was excellent. French toast is outstanding. This was another very enjoyable dining experience. Waiter was adequate, but could use a bit more guidance in the nuances of excellent service. All-in-all our party of five had a good experience and will return again soon."
