We were seated at a table next to a screaming family even though the restaurant was not jammed...it was a late lunch...about 1:30. The server was not polished and not professional. The lettuce in the salad was warm, wilted and plated as if we just went through the drive-thru at McDonald's. Could not get a refill on my water to save my life...

I made reservations online which was a VERY easy process. We had an early evening dinner because we were with a toddler and infant and didn't want to be disturbing to the dinner crowd, the table was ready when we arrived and we did NOT have to wait till our whole party was there to be sitted. (I hate that!) Everyone from the hostess to the bus boys were nice and said hi to my daughter, who is in her waving/hi stage. As we were near the end of our meal the restaurant began to fill with its dinner crowd and still no one rushed us to leave. Our waiter was so wonderful and really had a way of describing the menu items that made us want to order all of them! He recommended the halibut, he raved about it and so I felt I needed to see what the fuss was about, and he was so right, we are still talking about how good it was. Well done!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent!!!I have never had a bad meal at Wildfire. Francisco was our waiter. He was the BEST waiter we have ever had. He was so good inn every way. I honestly told my party that the next time we visit Wildfire I would like to request him. My mom paid the bill and I was impressed with the large tip she gave him. I was very pleased. He deserved every dime.

I was happy that even though it was a Thursday night, the noise level was better than the last time I was at Wildfire. The food was, as always, good. The server, upon learning it was our anniversary, brought us a complimentary flourless brownie with ice cream, which was a nice touch! Server took forever to come to the table; heavy accent was hard to understand. He seemed more attentive to his larger tables (bigger tips?). Took forever to wait on us. We both ordered Porterhouse steaks. Normally the steaks at Wildfire are fantastic. Mine arrived overcooked and quite dry. Because it took so long to get our food I did not send it back. I know I should have sent it back, but we had already been there for so long that I figured it would take forever to get a new one cooked.
