  • "We have been frequent diners of Wildfire restaurants for about 10 years. The last three times we have been to the location in Oakbrook the experience has been less than desirable. The first time we went with a group of eight (about three months ago) we were seated at a table that really could only fit six comfortably. Spent $500.00+ on a very uncomfortable dinner. The waitress was slow bringing our drinks and got lost for long periods of time. Went there again this weekend and had horrible service. Same type of service-drinks taking a long time to be refilled and the waitress was no where to be found once the food was delivered. I would not recommend you go if you want to impress someone."

  • "Wildfire is a family favorite because it always has consistently great food and service. The Spinach and Chopped salad shared by the table was excellent! My daughter is gluten free and they did a great job of accomodating her allergy by adjusting the salads to ensure they were gluten free and even provided her with a gluten free roll. Our party of 8 ordered steaks, fish and pasta dishes and everything was fabulous!"

  • "Recently, I made a reservation for 6 people for my Mom's retirement dinner. Obviously, this was an important dinner that I was planning and I wanted everything to be perfect. We were first shown to a table that looked crowded and uncomfortable. The manager immediately saw that we were concerned and offered us a different table that was perfect. Our server Ron was excellent! He made us laugh a lot and he was an expert on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The scallops I had weren't great, but everything else was top-notch! We regularly choose Wildfire for our special events and this dinner was yet another positive experience at Wildfire. Looking forward to going back again soon. Please bring back the Torched Cherry Limeade Cocktail!"

Our waiter was excellent, and did really make our nite fun, but the entrees were to be desired. Prime rib,was tough, flavor was mediocre, bourbon tips again tough and flavor bland, but in general, kitchen rushed?? Not all was poor, the salmon was great!"

  • "This restaurant does not allow concealed carry. I will no longer go to this establishment. The food was good, however, I feel the right to protect myself and family outweighs a good meal. The "no firearms sticker" is located about 6" off the ground, about 8' from the entrance on a window. To be compliant with Illinois law. The sticker needs to be on the entrance door, in plain sight. This ensures that lawful permit holders are made aware and have the opportunity to choose a different establishment."

  • "Having dined at Wildfire since they first came upon the OB restaurant scene in the 1990's, it's nice to note they also take care of the little things such as Birthdays, which is what makes experiences memorable. My friend who was celebrating her Birthday and I enjoyed the phenomenal French onion soup, kale & spinach salad, the trio filet mignon's and the gratis chocolate molten Birthday with a candle, which was just enough after a decadent meal for the both of us to have a little something sweet. The waitstaff is wonderful at Wildfire, and Angel G. is a waiter worth asking for. He always understands if we're gabbing too much and have him return a few times before we're ready to order. All in all, a perfectly delightful meal! Love Wildfire!"

  • "Food is always excellent. We have been to 3 of the Wild Fire restaurants and had great meals at each of them. We were disappointed this last time in that we were a party of 4 adults and they placed us in a room with families and small children. The restaurant was not crowded so we asked to be moved. I love children and have been there with our own but now when I am out dining I prefer not to hear children crying or screaming. I think that the staff should take into consideration who they are seating and where they are seating them. Obviously seating the families in one area is a great idea so adults should also be given some consideration so they can relax and converse without having to raise their voices to be heard."

  • "I have patronized this restaurant since it's opening many years ago. It remains a favorite and has always provided all good things that you look for in a restaurant. The beef cuts are always exceptional with their wonderful crusted preparation. The crusted Halibut is also a major winner. The only slight negative is the noise / commotion level, but I am OK with that in a general sense and will always think to go there when I have occasion to be in the Oakbrook area."

  • "Waiter was lazy, food was not prepaired correctly. Porterhouse steak was unevenly cooked. Ice cream desserts arrived at table melted and warm. Had to ask for refills on water and soft drinks. However, the busser was on his game. Cleaned table promptly, wiping crumbs and taking plates when we were finished. He deserved a tip more than our waiter."

Our selections followed at a leisurely pace which was perfect. When the main course arrived, mine was not as hot as I would have liked and word to the wise-forgo the au-gratin potatoes. Overall however our experience was positive."
