The food is a very good and the atmosphere is busy, but you can still carry on a conversation with your group. Do try chop salad, very fresh, tasty with multiple ingredients - "small" was shared by four -- two helpings each and still had some to package. Our lunch meals ranged from from stuffed cheeseburger, tenderloin sandwich, half chicken to crusted halibut special-all well prepared and tasty. Plenty of menu choices make decisions difficult. Desserts -split an apple crisp that was good but especially liked the half berry crisp both with vanilla ice cream that had enough berries to be special!
Only difficulty is the level of noise -- very difficult to carry on a conversation with the reverberating sounds - especially if a bit hard-of-hearing. Food from start to finish - delicious and satisfying. My husband had the filet trio and enjoyed horseradish, bernaise and bleu cheese as his crust choices. Three completely different tastes in one meal. Alamos Malbec rounded out the meal. Au gratin potatoes on the side - YUM. I had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut with grilled asparagus. Cooked to perfection. Dessert included NY-style cheesecake with a wonderful berry sauce, and the best strawberry-rhubarb pie ever created. Delicious, light crust with a filling sweetened just enough. I would choose Wildfire for a great meal or a great late night dessert any time over any place. AND my favorite dessert happened to be in season and exceptional........freshly made and scrumptuous strawberry rhubarb pie with special vanilla ice cream after really delicious wood fired planked salmon! Really terrific service topped off a wonderful lunch. They sat us really quickly and even gave us a booth as requested. The server was quick and on the ball but she talked way too much. They have a pretty large gluten free menu and they even have gluten free rolls in place of the bread the start you with. I had the high plains bison burger and it was phenomenal. Cooked perfectly to order and so juicy. The portions were big and you definitely get what you pay for and honestly the prices are not that bad. The two bread choices were delicious. Heard the burger was fantastic. My macadamia crusted halibut was outstanding and the lemon butter sauce for the asparagus was tasty, though the roasted vegetables were lacking. The scallops looked great and I've heard the potato sides are very good. I enjoyed the apple pie dessert.

I had the roasted vegetables, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We did not have dessert, but the choices were wonderful. I have dined at other Wildfires in the past. The waitress was older - I give kudos to older waitresses because my sister is "older" and has been a great waitress all her life! This waitress was one of those great waitresses. Of course the food was spot on as always. Making a reservation is a must if your on a schedule as we were. When we arrived for an early dinner at 530 the wait time being given was 1 hour to 1.5 hours. When i stated I had a reservation, the very pleasant hostess seated us immediately. The Filet Wellington was excellent.
