Diner Reviews
  • "Even though we made a 7:15 "reservation" with Open Table The hostess didn't seat us until 8:00!!! Then it took another 25 minutes to even get water at our table.. Terrible service, but our dinners were good"

  • "Although I've been to Wildfire numerous times throughout the years, this week's experience is worth noting. What made everything so great was our server, Derrick! He was the perfect balance of attentive yet not intrusive, personable and friendly yet not intrusive. The lunch was great as usual--chopped salads and one of the special Asian salads for everyone. We were treated to a delicious dessert, but would have said the same things about our server regardless."

  • "Dry aged steaks Cooked to perfection. But not just steaks. Plenty to chose from on the menu. We came back a second night in a row on a business trip because it was so good."

  • "We had dinner at Wildfire to celebrate our daughter's 22nd birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding - as usual. Wildfire consistently delivers delicious food and good service which is why we often choose it. The steak, salmon, and tenderloin tips were excellent and cooked to perfection."

  • "staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate waitress had no.patience while i reviewed the menu and tried to cater to my fiance not realizing me as a woman was paying the bill and i sat through my.entire meal with no refills and hot water"

  • "Although I've been to Wildfire many times for dinner, this was my first lunch experience. It was great. I'm trying to watch what I eat and there were so many good options. The roasted veggie salad was delicious and satisfying. No sacrifice! I added the steak, which was cooked perfectly. This continues to be one of my all time favorite restaurants. Hopefully next time, I'll be able to enjoy the cornbread!"

  • "We wanted the whole experience, and were really unhappy with the meal. We ordered the al a carte spinach salad to share, a usual expectation of a good steak house. The salad was inedible; the dressing bland. They prepared another with the same result. We ended up with an equally unremarkable caesar salad; dressing again left something to be desired. Our steak entrees were very good, but overcooked in each case; my rare turned out to be medium rare. As there are so many choices for a good steak dinner, I cannot recommend this one, based on this dinner."

  • "Need I say more, the Alaskan Halibut is outstanding and I enjoy it every years it's in season here. Our waitress was very accommodating and had recommendations which I find helpful when you can't enjoy it all! Overall wonderful dinner experience."

  • "Wildfire never seems to fail - and its Lincolnshire location is no exception. Diverse menu and anything we have ever chosen has not disappointed. Highly recommend the crab cake appetizer; any of the salads; pork chops - to name a few. Lively atmosphere - good for groups big and small. Very efficient at getting you out if you are trying to make a movie at the Regal or going to Marriott Lincolnshire for theater - without feeling rushed. All the staff is friendly and attentive - but Kyle S stands out - he is a beyond excellent server who definitely adds to your dining experience if you are lucky to get him."

  • "I go there regularly but the background noise level is extremely high. I also depends on what table you have."

  • "Wait staff was excellent- Had the "birthday" special of BBQ Beef Ribs - sauce was tangy, but not overpowering - ribs were done perfectly, tender but just enough chew for beef-"

  • "I went with another family for my birthday and it was excellent. Great food."

  • "My family & I come to Wildfire for Special Occasions due to the higher $$$'s. Their steaks and tenderloins are our favs. The meat is always consistently cooked just right. Our server, Lindsey was very efficient, prompt and energetic."

  • "Not busy at all and the host wanted to seat us at the bar. Strike one. Our waitress had the personality of a door knob. Worst we have ever had. She did not seem happy to be at work. Did not welcome us or chit chat nothing. Strike 2. She asked to take away the corn bread. That was strike 3 really what was her rush. Not at all like your night staff which is top notch. I should have said something at the time. The food was wonderful to bad the whole staff that day did not even come close the the night staff."

  • "I was looking forward to a special dinner but it turned out to be just an okay experience. Initially felt rushed by our waitress to place our order. Then ignored. Steak cooked correctly but not really "beefy" tasting. To top things off when I asked to have my leftover cake packed to take home it was too tall for the container so instead of suggesting to cut it in half she slapped the lid on and squished it down to make it fit. At the prices they charge will probably not be back soon."

  • "the food was great. our party had a variety of Steaks and fish. Everything was prepared perfectly."

  • "Consistent food and service. Been going there about once a month. Dissapointed they took off the menu the ricotta Pancakes from their brunch menu. Had the chicken portabella skewers, very tasty, as always, though this time a bit too salty. Also had the beet/goat cheese/macademia nuts salad which I love. Desert I had the half berry pie with ice cream, which was good, but nothing more. I would expect/like a bit more variety, the daily specials are very limited. Also we went at 2:30 on a Saturday and they were already under the 'dinner' menu. Really?"

  • "Food and service excellent. Noise level moderate but outstanding experience."

  • "We continue to enjoy Wildfire. The food is excellent and the service practiced and professional, never rushed. There is always a bit of a crush there, but the manager came up to us to assure us the table we'd requested would be what we wanted. The food is first rate, in quality and preparation and staff is aware of even the slightest hiccup. My steak came too rare and the server immediately took it back, sent over the manager to apologize for us "not being able to eat at the same time" and offered complimentary coffee and dessert. Earlier reservations are recommended if you prefer a quieter meal, but Wildfire always remains on the very short list of our favorites."

  • "Good food, but excellent service! Waiting to be seated even if you made a reservation is too long!!"
    Dined on 6/26/2014
  • "We so enjoy eating here and the bonus is when they have the macadamia encrusted halibut! To die for! Our server was a bit lax, however, there were several large groups and we were with friends, so still a very pleasant and enjoyable evening."

  • "We dined at Lincolnshire Wildfire this week and had a wonderful dinner. We had macadamia nut encrusted halibut, which was delicious. We also had a great goat cheese beet salad, and roasted vegetables, which were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was perfect. I wish I could remember her name, because she is one of the best."

  • "Whenever I am in this area I try to go at least one evening for dinner in to this place. It was always awesame and therefore I will do it again and again. I am from Switzerland."

  • "We have been to this Wildfire restaurant in the past for dinner. We return for the menu, quality of the food, and the atmosphere. This time we were a bit disappointed with the service. The waiter was inattentive and the bussing personnel would reach over our plates while we were still eating to retrieve dishes. Some of which were not empty and still had food in them which the person just took a break from eating. For the caliber of restaurants that the Lettuce Entertainment company offers this was I hope not an indication of the training for their staff."

  • "Our 2nd visit. Food was excellent both times. Service great 1st time, just average 2nd visit. Red wine was perfect first time, cold 2nd trip. Not sure why but not a deal breaker. Will definitely visit again."

  • "Everything was great for Father's Day lunch at Wildfire. We had a private room which was perfect. We ordered the family style meal to share and the food was amazing. The out of town guests we had were very impressed."

  • "We have been to this Wildfire many times. We choose this location because it seems it is far better than the other WF locations. Fortunately for us, the Lincolnshire location is closest to us. Our food was great as usual but the service was sub par at best. Perhaps it was at 8pm on a Friday evening, but our order had a few things mixed up/ forgotten. We were interested in ordering a bottle of wine with dinner but by the time the server came we were already eating our meal (the meals are brought by food runners) so we ordered the premium wine flight in its place. We were delivered the standard wine flight instead of the premium. Wildfire- Lincolnshire usually brings its A game; this night C- at best."

  • "The Macadamia Crusted Halibut is amazing, can't even get myself to try something else from the menu bc it is that good! Appetizer special of Firecracker Shrimp was delicious. Our waitress was very busy, slow to attend to us and had a smidge of an attitude. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry but we were out for a special occasion and it could have been better with better service. Example - from the time we sat down until a drink was set in front of us was at least 15 minutes (and we knew what we wanted when we walked in)."

  • "This restaurant always has great food. The staff is well trained . They know about the food on the menue and they know how to serve it the restaurant is very busy but if you have reservation they honor it. I would highly recommend this place."

  • "My husband and I went to Wildfire in Lincolnshire for dinner. We decided to show up an hour before our reservation so we could sit at the bar and have an appetizer. From start to finish the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had two appetizers, the oven-baked pretzels and the bison meatballs. Excellent! We had a wonderful time and wonderful food all the way to dessert. I've already recommended Wildfire to friends and family."

  • "The food tastes good, though I prefer prime rib to be rare. Unfortunately, they only offer at most medium rare and their medium rare is actually medium. The taste was fine with good seasoning and raw horseradish, but would be even better with rarer cut. This seems to be the happening place - it is always crowded. Good that I made reservation through Open Table, or I would have to wait quite a while."

  • "Great food! Very busy place, we were sitting by kitchen/restroom area it was loud and busy. Our final bill was $$$-we will only be able to go every was in awhile."

  • "My daughters french fries were an afterthought in that they came soggy. Evidently sitting & then reheated. As the price point climbs, quality standards should be a given."
