Wildfire - LincolnshireWent for a late lunch, earlyWent for a late lunch, early supper and arrived a bit early, but that was not a problem; we were seated right away. Server was pleasant and the cornbread was wonderful, as it was time now for dinner and bread was being served, our server brought us all that was left from lunch. My man enjoyed every bit of it, thanks.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSimple and funThe food was fabulous and not just your everyday items. The wait staff was so kind and one of the main reasons I will go again. Even my young daughters loved it! Very accomodating when we showed up early too!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMYummyFood was very good. The only thing i dont like is your ribs. Too dry not meaty and burnt.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Food & ServiceListen, If you've never been to any of the Wildfire restaurants you really should try them.
High quality food and service but be prepared to pay for what you get....but TOTALLY worth every penny.
We've dined many times at most of the the Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and have NEVER been dissapointed.
Just Go!
Erock6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMMY NY STRIP STEAK WAS NOTMY NY STRIP STEAK WAS NOT VERY GOOD. I ORDERED IT MEDIUM AND IT CAME MORE WELL. MY WIFE SAID TO ME WHY DID YOU ORDER A STRIP STEAK YOU KNOW THEY AREN'T SO GOOD. THEY POURED A BUCKET OF JUICE OVER IT TO FOOL YOU THAT ITS VERY JUICY. NOT. $12 STEAK AT OUTBACK IS A LOT BETTER AND I WOULDN'T EVEN COMPARE IT TO HUGOS. MY FRIENDS FILET WAS GOOD AND ALL ELSE WAS GOOD. TRY A NY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET ON THE PROGRAM. $30 FOR WELL DONE IS NOT GOOD.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMMacadamia Nut encrusted halibutTry it, it says it all... David, our waiter provided a perfectly paced meal without any prompting. Never rushed, never waiting...My wife does wish that this location featured Creme Brulee as is available in Schaumburg, at least periodically.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways DeliversI took my goddaughter from Manhattan to brunch at the Lincolnshire Wildfire to show her Chicagoland has sophisticated
restaurant venues and Wildfire didn't disappoint. Our meal was excellent, the service was attentive and the ambiance
was just the right amount of "clubby but comfortable". The only disappointment was the news that the hash will be taken
off the menu soon. My goddaughter asked that I urge Wildfire to reconsider!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMDiet friendly diningMy wife and I are on a strict diet and yet wanted to go out to a nice dinner. Wildfire has always been one of our favorites. We perused the menu and found selections that would be in line with the restrictions on our diet but needed them cooked a certain way. Our server was very open to requesting the food be prepared as we needed. The cooks did a great job and our dinner was delicious. So nice to know that we can escape from the confines of our kitchen to head out to a great dinner and not totally blow our diet. We still have 6 weeks left and can guarantee you we will be back at least once to Wildfire during this time!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I went for ourMy wife and I went for our 29th wedding anniversary and it was fabulous! Never having been there but having it recommended, didn't know what to expect. Service was great, food was even better! Will be going back!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe usual great food. WaitressThe usual great food. Waitress was outstanding. Great timing of meal. Always a winner.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FoodThe food is GREAT!!
The music was a little too loud for me, but I didn't notice once there were more people in the room.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for special occasionsService outstanding
I was very disappointed in the Ny strip
It did not have a great flavor like usual
Quality not good
I asked for it medium & came out mooing
I did not send it back as I did not want to upset the party
But I could not eat much of it and I was really looking forward to it
The cut was really bad It was also thin compared to other times
and not juicy or flavor. Big disappointment I have a great pallet
& used to be a food supervisor at marshal fields6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMMy kind of townWe visit this restaurant often. The food, service and friendliness is the best. It is a bit noisy, but that won't stop us from coming.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMMet for lunch and was seatedMet for lunch and was seated right away. Both had salads that were excellent. Our waitress was great! Personable and came around often to check on us but didn't rush us to put in our order. One of the hosts came by and chatted with us, as well. The only complaint was that it was a little cool in there but our waitress asked them to adjust the air.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMTop PickDefinitely a foodie. This place is my favorite. Bar none!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGotta have the hallibutEverything is delicious at Wildire but in season, the hallibut is the bomb! Always great service and great food, I've never had a bad meal - lunch or dinner.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat MenuGreat service, outstanding food & drinks, great place to have dinner or lunch.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAn excellent restaurantFood was outstanding, service was great. Had a great tme6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMYummy in My TummyI was running a few minutes late so I called ahead to let them know. The host was able to seat us right away, even being 5 minutes late, which made me very appreciative. We ordered drinks however, the waitress brought me a Basil Hayden's on the rocks, not a Basil Hayden's Manhattan on the rocks (only thing that wasn't perfect but I didn't mind). Our waitress was attentive and because we had a play to see later that evening, her timeliness in expediting our order was fantastic. I have been enjoying Wildfire for over 10 years and will continue to do so. Thank you very much for a wonderful dining experience.
Cheers,5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMMade it SpecialOur waitress delivered the cards, my daughter had dropped off earlier in the day, to our table upon our finishing...letting us know that our kids took care of the entire bill for our recent anniversary celebration together...a wonderful anniversary dinner and thank you to Wildfire for helping our kids surprise us for our anniversary!!5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat serviceA fresh plate brought for joy 6 year old who thought her burger was too charred. She took one bit if he 2nd, perfectly cooked cheeseburger and said, "incredible!"5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe halibut was excellentI have often wondered about the seafood at Wildfire, but was always seduced to one of the steak offerings, This time I decided to experiment at lunch, and ordered the Macadamia nut crusted halibut. I found it excellent; flaky yet moist, and very favorable. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the accompanying grilled asparagus to be favorable, well grilled without being burnt. My server was very attentive. I tend to drink a good deal of iced tea and she did an excellent job of making sure my glass was not left empty for long. It also seems to be a less hectic pace at lunch than the normal dinner survice, making the dining experience more enjoyable as well. I definitely will reorder the halibut upon a subsequent visit.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways very good food!We went for lunch on Memorial day which was great because there was no crowd. Food was very good as usual. Service excellent as usual.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!Great food! A perfect place for both the family and for romance.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGraduation DinnerWent for my daughters HS Graduation and had a great time5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFood excellent noise level loudWildfire has excellent food and service. Only issue is that it is a little loud so makes it harder to carry on conversations.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is outstanding andThe food is outstanding and the drinks are to die for! Love love love Wildfire!! 5 stat restraunt!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat for celebrationsAlways a wonderful meal. Best martinis in town! Gluten free menu is great.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and good foodWent with a large group and had outstanding service to support everyone. The food was very good and everyone was pleased with the entire experience.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMRelaxed top note with smoky finishI love the ambience of Wildfire with the smell of wood smoke in the air. The wait person was always present, even if the food was slow to appear. Beverage refills - automatic. The menu, as always, exceptional. The food does need to come up faster. It was early lunch time (pre-noon) and the wait just a tad too long. I had the wild rice instead of a potato or fries. I'll be getting this side dish from now on - yes, it was that good. We also had a birthday celebration at our table, and the complimentary lava cake was beyond delicious. Overall, very nice experience. I highly recommend, and will be back again.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe server was very friendlyThe server was very friendly and was very timely in serving the foor or topping off drinks. Had a great time5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMet expectations for a great nightAll our expectations were met or exceeded. We had a party of 9 to celebrate a 70th birthday. We were in a small, but comfortable room off the bar. Food was great. Service was great. We had a couple of drink issues that were quickly resolved without issue. Highly recommended.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst visitThis was our first visit. Our server was wonderful, she seemed to go out of her way to make our experience the best. She even celebrated our anniversary by bringing us a dessert to share ( with a candle ). We had an enjoyable dinner.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMNever Disappointed! We had another meaningful dining experience at the Wildfire on a Sunday evening and even though the restaurant is busy, everything went as smoothly as possible.
Thank You, keep up the great service.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot after attending playsWe attended a play at Marriott Lincolnshire and topped off the day with a wonderful dinner at Wildfire. We sat in the bar and our table was right by reception so the people who were waiting to be seated were many and loud. The food was excellent especially the desserts.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMdelicious foodwe went for a family outing with a small child. The place was quiet and friendly.
All the food on the table was very good, including the fish of the day and ribs, not counting the great warm cornbread.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGluten-free itemsThey have a wide selections of gluten-free items, so many that it was difficult to make a choice.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstandingEvery aspect of my visit was outstanding. I am sold. I will return.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMHappyAs always, the food and service were excellent. First time for a few and they loved it5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCarb ConsciousGreat choices for carb conscious individuals. Delicious steaks and roasted vegetables!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have dined at several WildfireWe have dined at several Wildfire locations over the years. We do like the Lincolnbshire location. The food selection appeals to our whole family and has always been excellent.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food and Always Great ServiceI have always had great service and food at any Wildfire Restaurant, my last dining experience was no exception.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's DayOverall, great experience. Our family were received in a warm manner. Our table was reaady when we got there. The were willing and able to facilitate our daughter's allergies(gluten; fish) with great recomendations from the childrens menu. The food was exceptional and made to perfection.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWasa little mix up of whoWasa little mix up of who was going to serve the table. So had to wait a bit longer in or ding and receiving drinks.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Comfort FoodHaving been to the Wildfire in downtown Chicago, the suburban addition is nearly as good. The food is a very good and the atmosphere is busy, but you can still carry on a conversation with your group. There are more kids and families in Lincolnshire than downtown.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, little conversationService is highly efficient, distributed and attentive. Do try chop salad, very fresh, tasty with multiple ingredients - "small" was shared by four -- two helpings each and still had some to package. Our lunch meals ranged from from stuffed cheeseburger, tenderloin sandwich, half chicken to crusted halibut special-all well prepared and tasty. Plenty of menu choices make decisions difficult. Desserts -split an apple crisp that was good but especially liked the half berry crisp both with vanilla ice cream that had enough berries to be special!
Only difficulty is the level of noise -- very difficult to carry on a conversation with the reverberating sounds - especially if a bit hard-of-hearing. However we keep going back because of the food.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways enjoy coming to WildfireAlways enjoy coming to Wildfire to celebrate a special occasion! Like that they give the kitchen a special request for one of our guests who has an allergy. The chopped salad is truly the best around. We had a delightful evening. Consistently excellent food.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEat in the Dining RoomI am writing this review even though I have been to Wildfire countless times because it was the first time I have ever been disappointed. I have always sat in the dinning area and have received stellar service, however, this time I sat in the bar area for my meal. I was surprised, but I felt the service in the bar area was not to the level I expect from this restaurant. If I had known that the service would not have been as good I would have waited to be seated in the dining room. The food was very good as it always is, but we received little attention and had to ask for refills of water etc. I consider it an anomaly. I this has never happened to me. I love this restaurant and will continue to go back...I just won't sit in the bar area.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThoroughly Enjoyable EveningWonderful, attentive, friendly, efficient service was provided by our server, Martin H. Food from start to finish - delicious and satisfying. My husband had the filet trio and enjoyed horseradish, bernaise and bleu cheese as his crust choices. Three completely different tastes in one meal. Alamos Malbec rounded out the meal. Au gratin potatoes on the side - YUM. I had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut with grilled asparagus. Cooked to perfection. Dessert included NY-style cheesecake with a wonderful berry sauce, and the best strawberry-rhubarb pie ever created. Delicious, light crust with a filling sweetened just enough. Not overly sweet like most dishes utilizing rhubarb. We dined at 5pm and enjoyed relative quiet in the restaurant.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMam a fond fan of Wildfiream a fond fan of Wildfire - Lincolnshire
