  • "We went to Wildfire for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and could not have had a better experience from the time we entered the door till we left. Wonderful greeting, great seating, attentive service, delicious food and special dessert. Extremely satisfied."

  • "Wildfire is just a treat. We were seated immediately. Food was delicious. Never disappointed with this restaurant! We always love to order the chicken chopped salad."

  • "Everyone in our group loved the food. Coconut shrimp, Cod Special, and Lamb. Chop Salad very good. Drinks were prepared just the way we like them. Our server was professional and friendly. Great food and Service. The only downside was our table location in a corner by the server station, in a back corner, so ambience not the best. It was pretty crowded with a lot of tables.....to seat all the guests!"

  • "This was absolutely the best team ever. We were stuck in traffic and called so we would not lose our table. Jill told us to drive safely and we were good to go. Then our waiter Steve was phenomenal. He was attentive funny and delightful. The food was amazing as was the wine. Our busboy accidentally threw my leftover fish away. The busboy came and owned up to it and informed me that the chef was making me a new full order to take home. Not 5 seconds later the manager Ben came and apologized for the mishap. That was above and beyond the call of duty. The experience was 50 stars and Glenview Wildfire team is a well oiled machine. Thank you all."

  • "Everything that my friend and I had was perfect! We celebrated her birthday and they brought her chocolate cake with a candle that was such a nice touch."

  • "Met a friend for an early dinner, and shared the small chopped salad, pizza and mini dessert. Portions were ample, tasty and presented as requested. Iced teas were promptly refilled. Can always count on Wildfire for a good meal. We did remark to each other that for basically one meal, as we shared everything, the restaurant tab was a bit pricey. $40 + tip."

  • "I had the cornbread encrusted cod which was rather disappointing. Itwas floating in a sweet sauce which didn't to go with the fish, flavor was overwhelming. A third of it was the tail end & therefore dried out. The shaved brussel sprts were very hard. I like crispy veggies but these tasted like they warmed and not cooked at all. They were floating in the sauce so after the first bite or two I took a pass. Au gratin potatoes were very good but the salad was just OK. Think it was the Wildfire salad - Usually get the chopped which has more ingrednts. Had alot of iceberg of which I'm not a fan &the ingredients were sparse - maybe two small artichokes in the size that serves 2-3."

  • "You can count on Wildfire for good food each time you go. Every appetizer, entree, or dessert we have picked has always been good. It is a little noisey there, especially if you dine early as there are lots of families with children, but it is comfortable and always provides good food and good service."

  • "Our server Mike was outstanding. Food was good but some of the meats were not cooked properly. Special COD dish was terrific."

  • "Very nice restaurant with good food but you pay dearly for it. $28 for Skirt steak?? Better to just have a hamburger in the Bar area."

  • "My wife and I very much enjoyed our dinner at Wildfire last Sunday evening. The bread that is served is wonderful, and our dinners were excellent too … I had prime rib and my wife a crusted cod. Wildfire is a great place, as evidenced by the always full to capacity number of guests eating there."

  • "We were a group of 5 and we all ordered different entrees. Loved the pumpernickel bread. No one was disappointed. The service was impeccable. Desserts were delicious. Soup was delicious. Staff is welcoming and friendly. For sure 5 Star."

  • "We have an 18 year old and a 10 year old. One very adventurous and one not so much. But for an evening meal it still has to be somewhere the adults want to eat. We've dined here before but this time everything just clicked. Our family was warmly greeted, and having late reservations on a weekend (which I recommend), we were promptly seated. The server did a fine job explaining the house beers and flight options. So one kid's menu item, a steak trio and two seafood samplers later we were very happy. Our server returned a sundae with nuts to the kitchen for one without. No allergies just a strong dislike by a 10 year old. Four staff members bid us farewell on the way out. Just laughed at the snow furies, in April, as we left."

  • "Our waiter Kevin was outstanding. He was funny, attentive, and very knowledgable of the menu. Made great recommendation. The manager was great she came over and congratulated my cousin who was a new graduate from Great Lakes Naval academy. She also "comp" his meal and provide our family with dessert. It worth a 30 mile drive to the Glenview location."

  • "Always very busy, so you know they must be doing something right! Ran out of one of the fish specials that I wanted, but were able to accomodate the salmon with the 'special fish dish preparation'. Very tasty. Server was attentive even though she was swamped. Will definitely return. Roasted veggie side is a MUST!"

  • "We were seated promptly and waitress was over shortly to set us up with coctails, she than dropped by occasionly to check on us when our order was taken the food came in a timely manner and was very good, we certainly will be back."

  • "This was our first time dining at this location and, don't get me wrong, the food was good and we like the restaurant, but the experience seems better at dinner time. The menu is slightly different, although you can order the dinner menu steaks at lunch upon request. We'll definitely be back to wildfire, but if scheduling allows it will be during their dinner service, for sure!"

  • "We've been coming to WIldfire for years. It is the first time we were rushed out the door. One of our plates was taken before I had finished what was on it by the server and plates were taken by staff before we could put our forks down. We were offered coffee and declined, never offered dessert which I was looking forward to. My husband walked out before we could get our bill, which was delayed longer than necessary. It was a very dissapointing end to a much anticipated dinner out!"

  • "The filet medallions with Parmesan crust are delicious. The service is good, and there is plenty of variety on the menu."

  • "We go to Wildfire for every family event. This is our goto restaurant of choice. My three kids love the place and the food is always great. We love the chopped salad and baked breads and the mashed potatoes or vegetables are delicious. My 2 boys get the filets, and the rest of us get the salmon, my wife had the stuffed salmon which she enjoyed. The service tonight was real slow, which is not usual. Usually when we are done with the salads the entrees are soon there. We waited at least 15 minutes before our food came. Still a great place to go."

  • "This visit was "typical" for the property, and for that matter, the chain as a whole. Service is over the top for the pricing. The menu and presentation is always solid; never bland and ordinary but also never overly adventurous. Our table typically ranges from rare to medium-well and the restaurant invariably gets 1 of the 4 incorrect. This time it was 3 of 4. In the typical Wildfire spirit, there is always an apologetic manager and a nice comp included. It's that customer service attitude and the quality food at a decent price that keeps us coming back again and again. Funny note.. We were dining with a couple new to the restaurant. After telling them of our usual troubles, the restaurant's misses made us looklike fortune tellers"
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "We have dined her many times, but this was the worst experience yet. We had a non attentive waiter. Didn't even ask how the food was, and the steak was dry abad overdone for medium rare. They squeezed more chairs into this restaurant so that you could barely walk thru to get to your table."

  • "Food was great. Service was excellent. Definitely should not have had a booth for a business lunch. A table would have been much better."
