The wait-staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the specials and the menu. The noise level was moderate. The food was flavorful and well prepared. One hiccup in my dining experience was that I ordered my bone-in ribeye medium-rare, and it came out medium well. However, the I did not have to wait long for the replacement to be served. The waitress was very attentive and came back several times to check on the table. The other hiccup was the desserts took a long time to be served. Once again, the waitress was able to rectify the situation to the table's liking. Overall a very good dining experience despite the few bumps. I've frequented Glenview & Chicago locations equally. I love the Glenview location because of its location, free or valet parking is available. I love the ambience. Of course, the food is delicious and carefully prepared. The moment you enter the restaurant, you're greeted cheerfully by everyone and given gratitude by everyone as you leave. The waitress or waiters are polite, patient, kind, and very helpful. The order of prime rib was the smallest on the menu, but both my wife and I carried food home! The service was excellent. It was Mothers Day and everyone was very busy, but our waitress found tme to give us the service we needed to really enjoy out meal. We will be there again with a group of "Lunch Bunchers" tomorrow. As a single mom on a budget, the dependability of the food means that if I decide to take the college-aged son, the preschool nephews, or my girlfriends in book club, we will all leave happy and full. The crew at Wildfire-Glenview is maintaining the great steakhouse/grill tradition while offering just enough adventure to keep the food from being totally boring. You can definitely get the same meal and quality at a much less price as many other eateries. At Wildfire, you pay for the name and the franchise. Our bill was over $500 for a table of 8. If a dish has not been right, for whatever reason, they always take it back and get you something you do like. The service is prompt and friendly and we have a favorite waiter who we ask for, if he is available. The bar is a great place to wait for a table also. They have the best cosmos around! Friends and family who are visiting always ask to go to dinner at Wildfire because they loved it last time! We were ten minutes late for our reservation on a very busy Saturday but the table was waiting for us - no delay! The food was delicious - we had prime rib and steaks. The portions were a manageable size and the sides were large enough to share. The desserts were especially great - homemade cherry pie and individual key pie pies. There were made at the restaurant so they were fresh and tasty. The wine list had lots of selections at various prices. Service was attentive but not rushed - we were there two and one-half hours.
