  • "Our party enjoyed the king cut prime rib. What an awesome piece of beef!!!!!.......like butter!!! The wait staff there is hit or miss. It was Sunday evening and our waitress must have just been awaken from under a table because she did not want to be there?? It was humorous that such a wonderful establishment employees such a slug to represent their hospitality!! She actually offered to share the specials but informed us she didn't want to and they were all listed in this little menu anyway?? Again, it was humorous!! The kitchen brings out the entrees to table so you are safe not having to rely on the wait staff to get the most important part, the entree, to your table when they feel like it,....maybe?? I go with little expectations!!"

  • "Three of us ate wonderful appetizers and dinners. The New York Strip Steak and Halibut were awesome. The calamari appetizer was terrific! Service as usual was excellent. Have been to Wildfire in Glenview, IL many times and look forward to enjoying the great food and service again. This is the second time I ordered the halibut and although I love steak, I couldn't pass up the halibut when I saw it on the special menu."

  • "My wife and I love wildfire. We always have a great meal. We often come for lunch, but this time we came for dinner. It was a Saturday night and we had reservations for 8:30pm. It was very busy, but we were seated promptly. We started with the small Caesar salad and it was more than enough for both of us. It was fresh and crisp with the right amount of dressing. We both had the king cut prime rib and they were very large. We had plenty left over for sandwiches the next day. My wife had the twice baked potato and it also was very large with just the right amount of browning on the top. I had the mashed and they were very buttery, just the way I like them. We finished by splitting the three layer chocolate cake. Fantastic as usual!"

  • "We went to Wildfire-Glenview for my son's 19th birthday lunch. Our server was great, the food was great and the prices were quite reasonable. When I made the reservation online, I noted that it was my son's birthday, so the server brought him a chocolate "lava" cake with a candle, which was a really nice touch! We've also been to Wildfire for the Thanksgiving meal which was awesome as well. We used to dine at another restaurant for Thanksgiving, but we've got a new favorite with Wildfire. I would totally recommend Wildfire. The menu has food that everyone will love. And the cornbread they bring to the table is amazing - I need to learn how to make that at home!"

  • "consistently good food, plentiful and tasty. The macadamia-crusted halibut is one of my favorites. But it's always very noisy."

  • "We were at Wildfire because we had two celebrations. I was pleased that we could get a reservation 24 hours before. Our server, Alexis was OUTSTANDING. We were dining with a five year old and that isn't always easy. Alexis was incredibly patient and thoughtful."

  • "I joined 2 friends for lunch and we ate outside on the patio, which was lovely. We ordered a white wine sangria for starters, but the bar made it a sangria martini, which was quite different. Steak was overcooked, but everything else was lovely. The corn bread is to die for, and the waiter was just wonderful."

  • "While on a business trip a partner and I had dinner reservations for 7:15 on a Tuesday night. We were there early, so we had a drink at the bar and, but were seated early at 7:00. Servers do seem to be spread out quite a bit, handling many tables at once. They did their best, but service was not very attentive. Not bad, just not up to par with the price level of the restaurant. I had the rib eye and my partner had the filet medallions. Both were fantastic, and the wine list is adequate. The restaurant is very crowded and loud, so not the greatest for a romantic dinner, but for our purpose, it was great."

  • "Our group of 4 adults had a delightful meal in the Martini Bar Lounge, where the sound level is not quite so loud. The food and service were perfect and we had a fine meal. We will return."

  • "We had a special occasion for a friend who was retiring and we had a group of six to celebrate. The food was excellent as always. The alaskan halibut was mouth watering. The noise level was still conducive for easy conversation even with our group. As far as the wine, even the house red was delicious."

  • "We were given the WINE room which was perfect for our group. We sat around a round table and had a delicious lunch. Everybody was pleased and we have decided this is our "go to" place when we get together!"

  • "This has really become our "go to" place! Food always excellent, no problem lingering over a second cup of coffee."

  • "The food as always was delicious, everything was hOt, that was suppose to be, and everything cold was served right. Our children were well taken care of. The waiter was so good and efficient. We loved the whole experience and certainly will return in the near future!!!"

  • "steaks and food are excellent. A little crowded there, very busy. Not very romantic. But food make up for it"

  • "We always enjoy ourselves when we go to Wildfire, we can always count on the food being good, my only complaint was that we were seated by the kitchen and I had a lot of servers carrying trays over my head, I should have asked to be moved but there were six of us and I decided to. Not make an issue out of it, Our waiter was great. He was very knowledgeable and had a good personality."

  • "As usual a good Lettuce Entertainment hot spot. You pay for it though. Portions a small and at an average in my opinion of $80 per person. Not really a good deal"
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "We arrived 10 min. early and our table was ready. Food was good and our server was very informative and attentive. It was a crowded night too and that said, the server was still prompt. I would return for another dinner."

  • "Food was excellent, but service made us feel rushed like they couldn't wait for us to leave. also we saw the check mentioned we had an anniversary, but nothing was mentioned to us about that."
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "The noise level is "too loud" not energetic. The seating is so close and with an open kitchen it's hard to have a conversation. We couldn't wait to leave so we could enjoy dessert somewhere else. It was inconvenient for us as this isn't what we had planned. I would recommend Wildfire to others but warn them of this first so they can choose wisely."

  • "We were having a birthday celebration for a friend, and Wildfire was a great place to have it. Food was good; service attentove; and the complimentary dessert for the birthday "girl" a plus. We will be back."

  • "Went for Friday night dinner. 1 drink, 2 glasses of wine, split dessert. Dinner was $94 for 2 after $10 coupon came off. Service was very slow but place was packed and noisy. Food was very good. Would go back for special occasion or lunch."

  • "We go here occasionally and usually sit in the bar and have a casual dinner. For our anniversary we sat in the dining room and really enjoyed the entire evening. Our dinner was wonderful, as always, and our server was terrific! She even sent over a little dessert for our anniversary. Never a bad meal at Wildfire; never a bad experience."
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "This experience made me realize I am not an a la carte diner. I like some of this and some of that. I would say the best way to enjoy their very good food is to go to Wildfire with a group and share!"

  • "Had an enjoyable lunch. Food was delicious, service was swift and attentive. Sound level allowed us to have a conversation."

  • "I am a frequent diner at Lettuce, can't remember ever having a bad meal."
    Dined on 6/30/2014
  • "We enjoyed our dinner and it was very busy. I had the Chicken Moreno which was fantastic. My son had a New York strip, it came out medium/well instead of Medium/rare and they quickly made him another steak. The au gratin potatoes were so good."
    Dined on 6/29/2014
  • "The beet and goat cheese salad wasn't as good as the last time I had it. You seem to have really cut back on the beets and cheese. It was mostly (too much) greens this time. Our waiter was excellent. He was very gracious in dealing with an older woman in our party who was very fussy about the way her food was cooked. He dealt with it very professionally, tactfully and with friendly humor."

  • "A polite and friendly male server introduced himself, saying he would be taking care of us. A blonde female in her 50's interrupted him, saying loudly, "This is my table; that's yours (pointing)". We would have preferred him. There were 4 of us and only 3 tableware wraps (had to ask for another after entrees were served when we could catch server walking by). A side was ordered with the entree but was not served until server was reminded about it minutes into meal. Then it took another 10 minutes to be served. Server did not check for meal acceptance until we were more than half way through the dinner. Coffee refill wasn't offered. This was one of the few times we did not tip our usual 20-25%. Other times, service is excellent."
