  • "I was not to impressed with the restaurant. A friend recommended it and we were excited to go since we are from out of town. HOwever, out waiter was inadequate. He short changed us $15.00 and was very slow and unfriendly."

  • "It seemed to be a nice atmosphere when we walked in. It was packed during the lunch hour. However the food was ok, not so great. Service was great though."

  • "I was in Dallas on a business and Wild Salsa was recomended by a collegue as a good place for bright & fresh mexican food. The taco sampler was a great lunch which 4 out of 5 of us ordered. Will go there again next time I am in downtown Dallas."

  • "good business lunch location in the middle of downtown Dallas."

  • "On our daughter's recommendation we went to this restaurant while visiting Dallas. It was a beautiful evening and we sat by the windows that were open to the city. The overall atmosphere was excellent, as was the food and service. I think the prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Don't expect the usual Tex-Mex, this is much more authentic Mexican food. Overall a great night out with family."

  • "Tacos and guacamole very good. Loud. Servers polite but slow. Downtown Dallas was fun and we parked on the street and walked 2 blocks."

  • "I was completely disappointed with our visit to Wild Salsa Saturday night. We had reservations for 8 at 8pm and were put in the BAR area which would have been fine if we were not celebrating multiple Birthdays with friends. There were plenty of OPEN tables when we arrived and we stuck with a large table in the bar area like it was a happy hour party? I even sent a request via the Open Table Reservation system and NEVER heard back from anyone. The service was beyond SLOW and it was not our waitress's fault. The bartender's had to come help her with drink orders as she slammed. The is a MANAGEMENT issue, not a wait staff issue. We never had anyone from management come by to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything."

  • "Delicious food that has a little different and special flair but still priced reasonably. Fun cocktail menu with interesting margarita varieties . The La Boracha cucumber and vodka cocktail is amazing. We came here before going to the Majestic and it was easy to park at the Majestic, walk to dinner, and walk back to the theater - only a quarter mile away! Great find!"

  • "With so few restaurants to choose from in the middle of downtown, except expensive ones like Pyles and Dakotas, wonderful place within walking distance of most of the hotels with delicious, fresh ingredient foods and lively bar scene. Just the ticket for those of us who find ourselves in town all week...."

  • "We come to Dallas every year in February for a convention for Stream Energy and our third year we discovered a hidden gem that is something above the rest! Best service and drinks, splendid accurate service and a shining example of a well placed and well maintained business that doesn't just Serve food!"

  • "I've heard great things about this place from a few close friends. So we decided to give it a try . First we walked in there was no hostess and had to wait for someone to sit us. We ordered a different range of drinks and they were awesome.. Took a while to get there but were worth the wait. The selection of the salsa's were just as amazing.. So we had asked our waiter to bring out more.. However the salsa's didnt get there til our food had arrived so it was a waste. However the food was amazing a little cd but great! Would I go back, yes for sure..but wouldn't want the same server."

  • "I had visited this restaurant for a quick happy hour cocktail a few months ago. I was impressed with the place and decided to come back for their Saturday Brunch. The place wasn't as busy I was expecting for a 12:30pm brunch. After talking with the server I found that the restaurant gets a "late crowd" and was told it was completely booked from 4 p.m. until closing. The food was excellent. We asked our server to suggest the more authentic Mexican dishes instead of the TexMex offerings. We chose the hosemade Tamale stuffed with carnitas (pork). It was awesome and huge! The size of a large burrito and it was wrapped in a banana leaf so it was also very moist."

  • "Ladies night out- had a great round table for our party of 6. Drinks excellent- food quite good, our only negative was when it was time for the check our waiter was around but just would not make eye contact for us to ask and he never came to see if we needed anything else. 20 min later we asked the busboy to get the check. Overall great spot. Oh I might add it was a Friday so valet was a bit slow., not ideal for parking, but definitely would go back."

  • "Everything I have tried has been awesome! The food is unique making your meal super enjoyable, not something you eat all the time. Prices are affordable and service was excellent."

  • "I was excited to try a new restaurant downtown, but left very disappointed. The food was very overpriced and came in extremely small portions. You can expect a very small plate compared to the average Mexican restaurant. My chicken fajitas literally came with 5 small slivers of chicken. This was hardly enough to make two small fajita tacos for a price of $17. I should also mention the waiter forgot to even bring the tortillas until I reminded him twice. My friend couldn't order her quesadilla without onion, which tells me they are all pre-made. Pathetic service for a restaurant posing as fine Mexican dining. Overall this restaurant was an extreme disappointment and I hope to find much better options next time in downtown Dallas dining."

  • "I loved the ambiance and vibe. The salsa was new and different and very very good. Loved my tacos, healthy but still great taste. Dessert was a surprise, bite size sopapilla's with chocalate sauce and honey."

  • "I think they were overwhelmed with too many people and not enough employees. Took over 40 min to get my food, when I did get it.. I got my soup and entree at the same time. Fajitas were cold and came with no tortillas until I asked for them (twice). Got my soup and no spoon(asked twice). No one came to check how my meal was once it was served, hey but I got my bill right away( didnt have ask even once for it)."

  • "This is the first time we, a group of 12, have been to Wild Salsa. We were seated promptly and parking was not an issue. Raul, our waiter, was fun and knew a lot about the menu/food and made excellent recommendations. Food was great as well as the service and atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday and so we had a custom made birthday cake we took to the restaurant. The only complaint I have is when it was time to cut/serve the birthday cake..a person, I assume is the manager, came to our table and stated that since we had our own cake.....there would be an additional $25..00 charge added to our bill because of this. Shocked, we left with our cake unserved, and may not go back."

  • "The food was very good (I had redfish), but our table for 12 wasn't ready (or even going to be ready - they wanted to seat us at 2 tables). We squeezed into a smaller table. Very crowded (I think we were pushed out of our rez by a very large group in the main room). Service wasn't very good. Margarita pitcher was weak (I purchased 3 extra shots to put in it). THe comped us guac and queso and then put it on our bill. They also mis-served a chix quesadilla to someone who ordered shrimp (he had already eaten 1/4 of it before they realized). Instead of bringing another for the wrong order, they made US deal with it (switch plates 1/2 eaten). Not good . . ."

  • "The food was great and had a lot of kick. The atmosphere was cool and fun. I was a little disappointed in the Margaritas, interesting flavor but not much tequila in them for the price. Overall I would recommend trying Wild Salsa."

  • "We dined at Wild Salsa on Jan 10th. The food was outstanding. My wife had the pork tamale and I had the fajitas. Both were very good. The service was also 1st class. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu and walk us through the different options. I highly recommend Wild Salsa and will be dining there again in the near future."

  • "My husband and I were down town after the Chinese Lantern Festival and wanted to eat somewhere new so I opened my Open Table App on my phone and found Wild Salsa. The people were great and very forthcoming about how hot the Wild Salsa was. My hubby loves to try the angry sauces and salsas so he was up for it. Needless to say, if the staff tell you a salsa is hot, it probably is. We all had a good laugh about it but I don't think he'll be trying it again when we go back, which we most definitely will."

  • "We had a large party and had no problem making a reservation for 16. Upon arriving, the staff did not insist everyone be there before seating us, which I very much appreciated because it would have been a very difficult task to have all 16 arrive at once. After being seated at three tables pushed together, we found out some of our party was unable to make it. We notified the waitress and she asked us to rearrange so that we were only using two tables so other patrons could use the third. This was a minor inconvenience but not a major ordeal; regardless, the manager offered us free deserts as compensation, which we also appreciated. Overall a good experience."

  • "The food was very well made, and the service was attentive. We couldn't escape the televisions and the staff couldn't get our turned off. (We were the only one in the room.) I had to step up on the chair myself. Interior decor is beautiful but tries to be to be too many things at once."

  • "He food was nothing special. With it being in the heart of Dallas I guess I was expecting more. After ordering it took about 45 min for us to get our food even though the place was not busy. When the food did finally come out My fiance dish was not what she ordered."

  • "Going downtown on a Friday night and going to a show our group wanted to make sure we weren't rushed or pressed for time so we made a reservation 1.5 hours before the show which was around the corner. Unfortunately although our server Michelle was wonderful and we witnessed her in the kitchen literally fighting to get our food out to us the very simple food of quesedillas and tacos took just about one hour from the time we ordered them, unacceptable regardless of any time constraints. There are a ton of options in this neighborhood so it will likely be a long time before I give Wild Salsa a second try. That and the menu is fairly limited in my opinion."

  • "Had a wonderful time - the service alone made for an excellent experience. From online reservation thru adjustments to size of party/table, taking orders, delivering the right thing to absolutely everyone, and getting individual bills correct and out to the right person. I was in awe. As for the food .....soooo tasty - just what this girl was looking for in Mexican style food. And the salsa - - well, it's wonderful, too!"

  • "Reservation waiting, seated timely, given a corner table off the main floor as requested, food and drinks were exceptional - but service....not so good. Took waiter a while to take drink orders. Rolled his eyes when we declined a special dip/appetizers. Couldn't be found to refill the tomatilla salsa. Put drinks in front of the wrong people. Sloshed both of my Wild Ritas sitting them down because he didn't come around the table to do so. Slapped the plates down and took off. Didn't return to check on our food until we were nearly done. Rolled his eyes when we declined desserts and took off - not allowing me to order another Wild Rita. Handed the check to one of the men even though this was my reservation and I was clearly entertaining."

  • "We had tacos - chicken (good), steak (good), pork/Al Pastor (greasy), and shrimp (ok). Tacos are served in 2 corn tortillas. I like to separate my tortillas and make 2 smaller tacos instead of 1 larger one. Well, my tortillas would not separate without falling apart. The frozen margarita used to come with a cool chili pepper type salt on the glass rim, but not this time. Reg marg - $7, smallish, & ok. The tacos were supposed to be $2.50 each; but we were charged $12 each for the “sampler" (3 tacos + rice & beans). $4.50 x3=$13.50+tax&tip extra. When we ordered, the waiter said "that comes with rice & beans, is that ok?" Nothing about the additional $4.50. One of our party didn’t touch her rice & beans and another only ate the beans."
