A word from Wild Flower Restaurant and Catering
French influences on this decidedly American fare make for an interesting and creative menu. Small plates and aged steak with award- winning BBQ ribs are just "the tip of the knife," on a menu that changes seasonally, in order to bring the freshest ingredients offered from our local farmers and ranchers.

We serve more than dinner. Our award - winning business lunch and "best in St. Louis weekend brunch" give you another reason to enjoy the efforts of our highly skilled chefs Leon Crues and Andre Grosz.

You can expect excellent service, without feeling stuffy, in the warm and inviting main dining room of this 100+ year old building. The exposed brick walls and tin ceilings add to the charm of this restaurant & bar.

We offer another great feature, people watching, on the most beautiful streetside patio in the Central West End.

Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I are both allergic to gluten and were super impressed by Wild Flower's menu. I wish we live in St Louis, because we would be in Wild Flower at least twice a month."

  • "Went for Sunday brunch. Food took a very long time and then it was just okay not great."

  • "Will definitely return. One of my top 10 St. Louis restaurants. Had a great time with my wife relaxing outdoor on a perfect night with great service and great food. Thankful for a friend who recommended this spot."

  • "Food options were great, quality fantastic. Restaurant crowded and noisy on a Saturday night with first great weather in awhile. Staff is very proficient and knowledgable. Kid friendly except for bathroom which does not accommodate changing a diaper."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "No parking. Everyone in our group drove around for at least 15 minutes. No valet. Noise level made it impossible for our party of 6 to hear one another. Felt so sorry for the waitress! Took 50 minutes to bring our food. Unfortunately, the food was TERRIBLE! Rubber eggs + chewy pancakes. No one in our party will go there again. This is the 1 st time I have written a negative review, but I hope this will resonate with Ownership. This needs to be addressed! Everyone around us was complaining. :-("

  • "My husband and I dined here for our 1 year anniversary. From the moment the hostess greeted us until the end of our dinner, everything was fantastic! The owner sent over two glasses of champagne and a delicious dessert as a celebratory gift for us! The food was great as well as the service. The owner made us feel so welcomed and special as my husband and I celebrated our first year of marriage! I couldn't have picked a better place! I highly recommend Wild Flower and I have no doubt that my husband and I will dine there again!"

  • "St. Patrick's Evening dinner. Wonderfully enjoyable....smallish crowd as the Irish were elsewhere!! We have enjoyed Wild Flower on many occasions."

  • "I love to try new restaurants and I am so glad I did. This is now our new fav. Tried it on valentines. Every single thing we tried was absolutely fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Our waiter ruined the night. The food was and always is outstanding, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. We waited over an hour for our appetizers, then the waiter came to the table to tell us that one of the apps was dropped in the kitchen….I mean come on. Then he didn't even make the situation better, it's as if he just thought that level of customer service was acceptable. Well, I bet he thought otherwise when he saw his tip."

  • "We reserved a table for Valentine’s Day, but we had to wait for 90 minutes to get a seat. Everybody was in the bar and everybody received the same answer: that we have to wait approximately 25 minutes to be seated. Finally we got seated but the waitress that took us the order came back and told us that two of our options in the menu were sold out. I felt not well attended and when we received the bill, I hoped to have a valentines present that the restaurant had announced, but the waitress never came back."

  • "I took my girlfriend for Valentine's Dinner. We had to wait almost two hours before we got our dinner. The people at the side table who got in an hour after we showed up ate and left before us. I understand it was V-day and expected the wait but I didn't expect people who showed up after us to leave before us. The meal was good although the portions are quite small."

  • "WIld Flower was a great find in the CWE. The food was fantastic, especially the salmon special. The best salmon I've ever tasted outside of Alaska."

  • "Went to Wild Flower for dinner on a Saturday night. Upon arrival the hostess met us promptly and got us to our seats. The waiter came over to get our drinks upon returning with the drinks, he informed us of the specials and left us to think about what to have for dinner. We had the Chicken and the Salmon which were both fantastic and finished our evening with a slice of cheesecake. During our meal the owner came around and talked with all of the tables to see how everyone's experience was going. I would recommend this restaurant for everything from a date night to taking out friends and family."

  • "We enjoyed brunch at Wild Flower on Saturday and the food was delicious. We had the special that included the Eggs Benedict with the cinnamon caramel pancakes served with fresh fruit. We would definitely get that again. The food is excellent every time we come here."

  • "With as much locally sourced food as possible the offerings were interesting and right sized. Not too big bug just right. We will go back."

  • "This is one of the best restaurants in the CWE. After going there a couple of times, you will feel like part of the family. Think of it as the Cheers of St. Louis. Great food, great outdoor patio, great bartenders and serving staff. Give it a try!"

  • "I love Wild Flower. The brunch has always been fantastic, so it was a no-brainer that I'd want to come here with a few friends for my birthday brunch. They even gave me a free bread pudding with a candle in it!"

  • "Wild Flower is outstanding in terms of food. My husband and I went to the restaurant since we are foodies and try to eat as local and organic as possible. We were in the Central West End neighborhood due to my mother-in-law undergoing brain surgery at Barnes Jewish Hospital. We were looking for a quick bite to eat Saturday night and since Wild Flower had reservations available, we thought this would be perfect. We went knowing the price and menu options. However, we were treated disrespectfully by our server, Joe. Joe decided that since we were eating cheap ($40 total) we did not need to be served bread or shown the dessert tray after finishing dinner. Attitude by a server in this type of restaurant is expected. Disrespect is not."

  • "This was my first time having dinner at Wild Flower, though I had been there for both brunch and lunch and had been satisfied with my experience. I found it to be a great spot for dinner as well. The service was efficient and our server was very helpful in giving us menu suggestions. Everyone in our party got different entrees and everyone seemed to be pleased with what they ordered. Considering that we all got entrees and 2-3 glasses of wine per person, I think that the amount we paid for a high quality meal was a great value. Since I live nearby, I am sure that I will be back."

  • "Was seated on time for a weekend reservation! Barbecue ribs were excellent, attractively presented. Macaroni/cheese side was delicious, and an interesting side for the ribs, but left me feeling guilty about the amount of fat consumed. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere very comfortable. Another good find for an out-of-towner staying in the CWE."

  • "Dining here was a pleasure. It is a tad pricy but the food is great, good ambience, and seems to be a very popular place. Not very big so make sure you get reservations before you come! All in all it was worth the money."

  • "I have been trying to find a favorite place since Riddles in the Loop closed and have found it at Wildflower. Love their small plates with great veggie choices. I got the melt in your mouth brussel sprouts, asparagus and 3 ribs and had to ask for a go container. Nice warm bread served with olive oil. My friends were pleased with their pasta dishes and risotto. Pricey but worth it, lovely atmosphere."
