Northern Italian influences on this decidedly American fare make for an interesting and creative menu. Small plates and aged steak with award- winning BBQ ribs are just "the tip of the knife," on a menu that changes seasonally, in order to bring the freshest ingredients offered from our local… farmers and ranchers.

We serve more than dinner. Our award - winning business lunch and "best in St. Louis weekend brunch" give you another reason to enjoy the efforts of our highly skilled chefs Leon Crues and Josh Roland.

You can expect excellent service, without feeling stuffy, in the warm and inviting main dining room of this 100+ year old building. The exposed brick walls and tin ceilings add to the charm of this restaurant & bar.

"I had a very nice dinner with my daughter. The service was good but the food could have been better. I loved the availability of small plates, but the bison I had was very tough and had too much overpowering sauce on it. The artichoke dish was so over parmesaned that I could not taste the artichoke. My daughter loved her meal (the regular bison entree). It is a cute restaurant wi a lot of potential."

"I specifically left a reservation note asking for a "Quiet Corner for private discussions" and when I arrived, the entire room was opened. I was seated next to a table of 4 who were busy having an intense discussion.

I ordered wine just to learn that their wine list was out of date and instead of an 07 or 08, they only had 2009 wine. The server was slow and even complained at the end that I only left a $14 tip for my service. Then the manager came over and asked for me to revise my bill so he could have a $30 tip instead.

It use to be a nice restaurant....use to be. I receive better service and privacy at Brennan's, Lester's, or Sub Zero and for the fraction of the price."

"food was very good. salmon was excellent. yummy appetizers. waitress seemed to forget about us though and we were trying to make it to a show at the Fox. That was a bit disappointing......."

"Met up with some friends I haven't seen for awhile. Had a great brunch on the patio which was the perfect backdrop for a great Sunday afternoon. Service was a little slow and she was not very energetic. May have been understaffed. Really didn't make a difference, because of the company."

"The ambiance was quite nice. Both the service and food was good quality. However, I wouldn't describe it as spectacular. We visited the restaurant with our small children (7 and 4 years old) and they also enjoyed their meal."

"While our food was very good, I didn't enjoy the atmosphere. It was very loud. Our waiter was efficient. It just was not a comfortable place for me. Clothing really stands out to make it remarkable."

"The food was great! Their potatoes are seasoned perfectly, and their egg scramble with brie had a very smooth texture to it. The service, however, was really bad. I think they only had one person working the outside tables, but our table didn't get our food orders taken while people who were seated after us already had their food."
